یوحنا 10

1 «هر که نخواهد از در واردِ آغل گوسفندان شود بلکه از روی دیوار به داخل بپرد، دزد و راهزن است.

Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, he that cometh not in by the dore in to the foold of scheep, but stieth bi another weie, is a nyyt theef and a dai theef.

2 زیرا شبان گوسفندان همیشه از در وارد می‌شود.

But he that entrith bi the dore, is the scheepherde of the scheep.

3 دربان نیز برای شبان در را باز می‌کند، گوسفندان صدای او را می‌شنوند و نزد او می‌آیند. شبان نام گوسفندان خود را یک به یک می‌خواند و آنها را بیرون می‌برد.

To this the porter openeth, and the scheep heren his vois, and he clepith his owne scheep bi name, and ledith hem out.

4 او پیشاپیش گوسفندان حرکت می‌کند و گوسفندان به دنبالش می‌روند، چون صدای او را می‌شناسند.

And whanne he hath don out his owne scheep, he goith bifor hem, and the scheep suen hym; for thei knowun his vois.

5 گوسفندان به‌دنبال غریبه‌ها نمی‌روند، بلکه از آنان می‌گریزند، چون با صدای غریبه‌ها آشنا نیستند.»

But thei suen not an alien, but fleen from hym; for thei han not knowun the vois of aliens.

6 کسانی که این مَثَل را شنیدند، منظور عیسی را درک نکردند.

Jhesus seide to hem this prouerbe; but thei knewen not what he spak to hem.

7 پس برای ایشان توضیح داد و فرمود: «مطمئن باشید که من آن دری هستم که گوسفندان از آن وارد می‌شوند.

Therfor Jhesus seide to hem eftsoone, Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, that Y am the dore of the scheep.

8 دیگران که پیش از من آمدند، همه دزد و راهزن بودند. به همین جهت، گوسفندان واقعی به سخنان ایشان گوش ندادند.

As many as han come, weren nyyt theues and day theues, but the scheep herden not hem.

9 بله، من در هستم. کسانی که از این در وارد می‌شوند، نجات پیدا می‌کنند و در داخل و بیرون می‌گردند و چراگاه سبز و خرّم می‌یابند.

Y am the dore. If ony man schal entre bi me, he schal be sauyd; and he schal go ynne, and schal go out, and he schal fynde lesewis.

10 کار دزد این است که بدزدد، بکشد و نابود کند؛ اما من آمده‌ام تا به شما حیات واقعی را به فراوانی عطا نمایم.

A nyyt theef cometh not, but that he stele, sle, and leese; and Y cam, that thei han lijf, and haue more plenteousli.

11 «من شبان نیکو هستم. شبان نیکو از جان خود می‌گذرد تا گوسفندان را از چنگال گرگها نجات دهد.

I am a good scheepherde; a good scheepherde yyueth his lijf for hise scheep.

12 ولی کسی که مزدور است و شبان نیست، وقتی می‌بیند گرگ می‌آید، گوسفندان را گذاشته، فرار می‌کند، چون گوسفندان از آن او نیستند و او شبانشان نیست. آنگاه گرگ به گله می‌زند و گوسفندان را پراکنده می‌کند.

But an hirid hyne, and that is not the scheepherde, whos ben not the scheep his owne, seeth a wolf comynge, and he leeueth the scheep, and fleeth; and the wolf rauyschith, and disparplith the scheep.

13 مزدور می‌گریزد، چون برای مزد کار می‌کند و به فکر گوسفندان نیست.

And the hirid hyne fleeth, for he is an hirid hyne, and it parteyneth not to hym of the scheep.

14 «من شبان نیکو هستم و گوسفندانم را می‌شناسم و آنها نیز مرا می‌شناسند.

Y am a good scheepherde, and Y knowe my scheep, and my scheep knowen me.

15 درست همان‌طور که پدرم مرا می‌شناسد و من او را می‌شناسم. من جان خود را در راه گوسفندان فدا می‌کنم.

As the fadir hath knowun me, Y knowe the fadir; and Y putte my lijf for my scheep.

16 من گوسفندان دیگری نیز دارم که در این آغل نیستند؛ آنها را نیز باید بیاورم. آنها نیز به صدای من توجه کرده، همه با هم یک گله خواهند شد و یک شبان خواهند داشت.

Y haue othere scheep, that ben not of this foolde, and it bihoueth me to brynge hem togidir, and thei schulen here my vois; and it schal be maad o foolde and o scheepherde.

17 «پدرم مرا دوست دارد، چون من جانم را می‌دهم و باز پس می‌گیرم.

Therfor the fadir loueth me, for Y putte my lijf, that eftsoone Y take it.

18 کسی نمی‌تواند به زور جانم را بستاند. من داوطلبانه آن را فدا می‌کنم. زیرا اختیار این را دارم که جانم را فدا کنم، و اختیار آن را دارم تا آن را باز پس بگیرم. این اختیار را پدرم به من داده است.»

No man takith it fro me, but Y putte it of my silf. Y haue power to putte it, and Y haue power to take it ayen. This maundement Y haue takun of my fadir.

19 سران قوم یهود وقتی این سخنان را شنیدند، باز دربارهٔ او اختلاف نظر پیدا کردند.

Eft dissencioun was maad among the Jewis for these wordis.

20 بعضی گفتند: «این مرد دیوانه است و عقل خود را از دست داده است. چرا به حرفهای او گوش می‌دهید؟»

And many of hem seiden, He hath a deuel, and maddith; what heren ye hym?

21 دیگران گفتند: «به نظر دیوانه نمی‌آید. مگر دیوانه می‌تواند چشمان کور را باز کند؟»

Othere men seiden, These wordis ben not of a man that hath a feend. Whether the deuel may opene the iyen of blynde men?

22 پس از آن در اورشلیم جشن سالگرد تقدیس معبد، موسوم به جشن حَنوکا فرا رسید. زمستان بود،

But the feestis of halewyng of the temple weren maad in Jerusalem, and it was wyntir.

23 و عیسی در صحن معبد، در تالار سلیمان قدم می‌زد.

And Jhesus walkide in the temple, in the porche of Salomon.

24 سران قوم یهود دور او را گرفتند و پرسیدند: «تا به کی می‌خواهی ما را در شک و تردید نگاه داری؟ اگر تو همان مسیح هستی، روشن و واضح به ما بگو.»

Therfor the Jewis camen aboute hym, and seiden to hym, Hou long takist thou awei oure soule? if thou art Crist, seie thou to vs opynli.

25 عیسی جواب داد: «من قبلاً به شما گفتم ولی باور نکردید. معجزه‌هایی که به قدرت پدرم می‌کنم، ثابت می‌کند که من مسیح هستم.

Jhesus answerde to hem, Y speke to you, and ye bileuen not; the werkis that Y do in the name of my fadir, beren witnessyng of me.

26 اما شما به من ایمان نمی‌آورید، زیرا جزو گوسفندان من نیستید.

But ye bileuen not, for ye ben not of my scheep.

27 گوسفندان من صدای مرا می‌شناسند، من نیز ایشان را می‌شناسم و آنها به دنبال من می‌آیند.

My scheep heren my vois, and Y knowe hem, and thei suen me.

28 من به ایشان زندگی جاوید می‌بخشم تا هرگز هلاک نشوند. هیچ‌کس نیز نمی‌تواند ایشان را از دست من بگیرد. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)

And Y yyue to hem euerelastynge lijf, and thei schulen not perische with outen ende, and noon schal rauysche hem fro myn hoond. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)

29 چون پدرم ایشان را به من داده است و او از همه قویتر است؛ هیچ انسانی نمی‌تواند ایشان را از پدرم بگیرد.

That thing that my fadir yaf to me, is more than alle thingis; and no man may rauysche fro my fadris hoond.

30 من و پدر یک هستیم.»

Y and the fadir ben oon.

31 باز سران قوم یهود سنگها برداشتند تا او را بکشند.

The Jewis token vp stoonys, to stoone hym.

32 عیسی فرمود: «از جانب پدرم کارهای نیک بسیاری انجام داده‌ام. برای کدام یک از آنها می‌خواهید مرا سنگسار کنید؟»

Jhesus answerde to hem, Y haue schewide to you many good werkis of my fadir, for which werk of hem stonen ye me?

33 جواب دادند: «ما به خاطر کفری که می‌گویی می‌خواهیم تو را بکشیم، نه برای کارهای خوبت. چون تو یک انسانی ولی ادعای خدایی می‌کنی.»

The Jewis answerden to hym, We stoonen thee not of good werk, but of blasfemye, and for thou, sithen thou art a man, makist thi silf God.

34 عیسی در پاسخ فرمود: «مگر در تورات شما نوشته نشده که”گفتم شما خدایانید“؟

Jhesus answerde to hem, Whether it is not writun in youre lawe, That Y seide, Ye ben goddis?

35 حال، اگر کتب مقدّس که نمی‌توانند نادرست باشند، به کسانی که کلام خدا به ایشان رسید، می‌فرمایند که”خدایان“هستند،

Yf he seide that thei weren goddis, to whiche the word of God was maad, and scripture may not be vndon,

36 آیا کفر است کسی که خدا او را تقدیس کرده و به جهان فرستاده، بگوید”من پسر خدا“هستم؟

thilke that the fadir hath halewid, and hath sent in to the world, ye seien, That `thou blasfemest, for Y seide, Y am Goddis sone?

37 اگر معجزه نمی‌کنم، به من ایمان نیاورید.

Yf Y do not the werkis of my fadir, nyle ye bileue to me;

38 ولی اگر می‌کنم و باز نمی‌توانید به خود من ایمان بیاورید، لااقل به معجزاتم ایمان آورید تا بدانید که پدر در من است و من در پدر.»

but if Y do, thouy ye wolen not bileue to me, bileue ye to the werkis; that ye knowe and bileue, that the fadir is in me, and Y in the fadir.

39 بار دیگر خواستند او را بگیرند ولی عیسی رفت و از آنان دور شد.

Therfor thei souyten to take hym, and he wente out of her hondis.

40 سپس به آن طرف رود اردن رفت، یعنی نزدیک به جایی که یحیی در آغاز مردم را تعمید می‌داد.

And he wente eftsoone ouer Jordan, in to that place where Joon was firste baptisynge, and he dwelte there.

41 در آنجا بسیاری از مردم نزد او آمدند؛ ایشان به یکدیگر می‌گفتند: «یحیی معجزه‌ای نکرد، ولی هر چه درباره این شخص گفت، راست بود.»

And manye camen to hym, and seiden, For Joon dide no myracle;

42 و بسیاری که در آنجا بودند، به عیسی ایمان آوردند.

and alle thingis what euer Joon seide of this, weren sothe. And many bileueden in hym.
