ایوب 25

1 آنگاه بلدد شوحی پاسخ داد:

Forsothe Baldach Suytes answeride, and seide,

2 خدا توانا و مهیب است؛ او در آسمانها آرامش برقرار می‌کند.

Power and drede is anentis hym, that is, God, that makith acordyng in hise hiye thingis.

3 کیست که بتواند لشکرهای آسمانی او را بشمارد؟ کیست که نور خدا بر او نتابیده باشد؟

Whether noumbre is of hise knyytis? and on whom schyneth not his liyt?

4 انسانی که از زن زائیده شده، چگونه می‌تواند در برابر خدا پاک و بی‌گناه به حساب بیاید؟

Whether a man comparisound to God mai be iustified, ether borun of a womman mai appere cleene?

5 حتی ماه و ستارگان در نظر او پاک و نورانی نیستند،

Lo! also the moone schyneth not, and sterris ben not cleene in `his siyt;

6 چه رسد به انسان که حشره یا کرمی بیش نیست.

hou miche more a man rot, and the sone of a man a worm, is vncleene `and vile, if he is comparisound to God.
