ارمیا 13
| خداوند به من فرمود: «برو و یک کمربند کتانی بخر و به کمرت ببند، ولی آن را نشوی.» | 1 |
Thus said YHWH to me: “Go, and you have acquired a girdle of linen for yourself, and have placed it on your loins, and you do not cause it to enter into water.”
| پس کمربندی خریدم و به کمرم بستم. | 2 |
And I get the girdle, according to the word of YHWH, and I place [it] on my loins.
| سپس خداوند به من گفت: | 3 |
And there is a word of YHWH to me a second time, saying,
| «به کنار رود فرات برو و آن کمربند را در شکاف صخره‌ای پنهان کن.» | 4 |
“Take the girdle that you have acquired, that [is] on your loins, and rise, go to the Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole of the rock”;
| رفتم و همان‌طور که خداوند فرموده بود، پنهانش کردم. | 5 |
and I go and hide it by the Euphrates, as YHWH commanded me.
| پس از گذشت زمانی طولانی، خداوند فرمود که بروم و کمربند را از کنار رود فرات بیاورم. | 6 |
And it comes to pass, at the end of many days, that YHWH says to me, “Rise, go to the Euphrates, and take the girdle there, that I commanded you to hide there”;
| من هم رفتم و آن را از جایی که پنهان کرده بودم، بیرون آوردم؛ ولی دیدم که پوسیده است و دیگر به هیچ دردی نمی‌خورد! | 7 |
and I go to the Euphrates, and dig, and take the girdle from the place where I had hid it; and behold, the girdle has been marred, it is not profitable for anything.
| آنگاه خداوند فرمود: «به همین گونه من غرور مملکت یهودا و شهر اورشلیم را می‌پوسانم و از بین می‌برم. | 8 |
And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying, “Thus said YHWH:
| 9 |
Thus I mar the excellence of Judah, And the great excellence of Jerusalem.
| این قوم بدکار که خواهان اطاعت از من نیستند و به دنبال خواهشهای ناپاک خود می‌روند و بت می‌پرستند، همچون این کمربند، پوسیده شده، به هیچ دردی نخواهند خورد. | 10 |
This evil people, who refuse to hear My words, Who walk in the stubbornness of their heart, And go after other gods to serve them, And to bow themselves to them, Indeed it is—as this girdle, that is not profitable for anything.
| همان‌گونه که کمربند را محکم به دور کمر می‌بندند، من نیز اسرائیل و یهودا را محکم به خود بستم تا قوم من باشند و مایهٔ سربلندی و عزت نام من گردند؛ ولی آنها از من اطاعت نکردند.» | 11 |
For as the girdle cleaves to the loins of a man, So I caused to cleave to Me The whole house of Israel, And the whole house of Judah,” A declaration of YHWH, “To be to Me for a people, and for a name, And for praise, and for beauty, And they have not listened.
| سپس خداوند فرمود: «به ایشان بگو:”همهٔ مشکهای شما از شراب پر خواهند شد.“ولی ایشان در جواب به تو خواهند گفت:”خود می‌دانیم که مشکهایمان همه از شراب لبریز خواهند شد.“ | 12 |
And you have said this word to them, Thus said YHWH, God of Israel: Every bottle is full of wine, And they have said to you: Do we not certainly know that every bottle is full of wine?
| پس تو به ایشان بگو که خداوند می‌فرماید:”مردم این سرزمین را مانند کسانی که مست شده‌اند، گیج خواهم ساخت، از پادشاهی که از خاندان داوود است تا کاهنان و انبیا و همهٔ ساکنان اورشلیم را؛ | 13 |
And you have said to them, Thus said YHWH: Behold, I am filling all the inhabitants of this land, And the kings who sit for David on his throne, And the priests, and the prophets, And all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, [With] drunkenness,
| و ایشان را به جان هم خواهم انداخت، حتی پدران و پسران را، تا یکدیگر را نابود کنند؛ و هیچ چیز مرا از هلاک کردن آنها باز نخواهد داشت نه دلسوزی، نه ترحم و نه شفقت.“» | 14 |
And have dashed them against one another, And the fathers and the sons together,” A declaration of YHWH, “I do not pity, nor spare, nor do I have mercy, So as not to destroy them.”
| خداوند امر فرموده است، پس فروتن شوید و گوش کنید! | 15 |
Hear, and give ear—do not be haughty, For YHWH has spoken.
| یهوه خدای خود را احترام نمایید، پیش از آنکه دیر شود، قبل از آنکه ظلمتی را پدید آورد که نتوانید راه خود را بر روی کوهها بیابید؛ پیش از آنکه نوری را که انتظار می‌کشیدید به تاریکی مرگبار و سهمگین تبدیل نماید. | 16 |
Give glory to your God YHWH, Before He causes darkness, And before your feet stumble on dark mountains, And you have waited for light, And He has made it for death-shade, And has appointed [it] for thick darkness.
| اگر گوش نکنید، به سبب غرور شما در خفا خواهم گریست و اشک خواهم ریخت، چون قوم خداوند به اسارت برده می‌شوند. | 17 |
And if you do not hear it, My soul weeps in secret places, because of pride, Indeed, it weeps and wails, And the tear comes down my eyes, For the flock of YHWH has been taken captive.
| خداوند فرمود: «به پادشاه و مادرش بگو که از تخت سلطنت پایین بیایند و به خاک بنشینند، چون تاجهای پرشکوهشان از سر آنها برداشته شده است. | 18 |
Say to the king and to the mistress: Make yourselves low—sit still, For your principalities have come down, The crown of your beauty.
| دروازه‌های شهرهای جنوب یهودا همه بسته است و کسی نیست که آنها را بگشاید؛ اهالی یهودا همه به اسارت رفته‌اند. | 19 |
The cities of the south have been shut up, And there is none opening, Judah has been removed—all of her, She has been completely removed—
| «ای اورشلیم نگاه کن! دشمن از سوی شمال به سوی تو می‌آید! کجاست آن گلهٔ زیبایی که به دست تو سپردم تا از آن نگهداری کنی؟ | 20 |
Lift up your eyes, and see those coming in from the north, Where [is] the drove given to you, your beautiful flock?
| هنگامی که یارانت تو را شکست داده، بر تو حکومت کنند، چه حالی به تو دست خواهد داد؟ همچون زنی که می‌زاید، از درد به خود خواهی پیچید. | 21 |
What do you say when He looks after you? And you have taught them [to be] over you—leaders for head? Do pangs not seize you as a travailing woman?
| اگر از خودت بپرسی که چرا این بلاها بر سرت می‌آید، بدان که به سبب ازدیاد گناهانت به این روز افتاده‌ای؛ برای همین است که دشمن به تو تجاوز نموده و غارت و پایمالت کرده است. | 22 |
And when you say in your heart, “Why have these met me?” For the abundance of your iniquity Have your skirts been uncovered, Have your heels suffered violence.
| «آیا یک حبشی می‌تواند رنگ سیاه پوستش را عوض کند؟ یا پلنگ می‌تواند خالهایش را پاک کند؟ تو هم که تا این حد به کارهای بد عادت کرده‌ای، آیا می‌توانی کار خوب بکنی؟ | 23 |
“Does a Cushite change his skin? And a leopard his spots? Can you also do good, who are accustomed to do evil?
| پس چون مرا فراموش کرده و خدایان دروغین را پیروی نموده‌ای، من هم تو را پراکنده می‌کنم، همان‌طور که باد صحرا کاه را پراکنده می‌سازد؛ این است آن سرنوشتی که برایت تعیین کرده‌ام. | 24 |
And I scatter them as stubble, Passing away, by a wind of the wilderness.
| 25 |
This [is] your lot, the portion of your measures from Me,” A declaration of YHWH, “Because you have forgotten Me, And trust in falsehood.
| تو را برهنه ساخته رسوا خواهم کرد. | 26 |
I have also made your skirts bare before your face, And your shame has been seen.
| کارهای زشت تو را دیده‌ام، ناپاکی، هوسرانی، زناکاری و بت‌پرستی‌هایت را بر تپه‌ها و کشتزارها! وای بر تو ای اورشلیم، تا به کی می‌خواهی ناپاک بمانی؟» | 27 |
Your adulteries, and your neighings, The wickedness of your whoredom, on heights in a field, I have seen your abominations. Woe to you, O Jerusalem, You are not [yet] made clean—after when [will you be] again?”
