اشعیا 6
| در سالی که عزیای پادشاه درگذشت، خداوند را دیدم که بر تختی بلند و باشکوه نشسته بود و معبد از جلال او پر شده بود. | 1 |
In the year in which king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, sublime and exalted, and the things that were under him filled the temple.
| اطراف تخت را فرشتگان احاطه کرده بودند. هر فرشته شش بال داشت که با دو بال صورت خود را می‌پوشاند، و با دو بال پاهای خود را، و با دو بال دیگر پرواز می‌کرد. | 2 |
The Seraphim were standing above the throne. One had six wings, and the other had six wings: with two they were covering his face, and with two they were covering his feet, and with two they were flying.
| آنها یکدیگر را صدا زده می‌گفتند: «قدوس، قدوس، قدوس است خداوند لشکرهای آسمان؛ تمام زمین از جلال او پر است!» | 3 |
And they were crying out to one another, and saying: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God of hosts! All the earth is filled with his glory!”
| صدای سرود آنها چنان با قدرت بود که پایه‌های معبد را می‌لرزاند. سپس تمام خانه از دود پر شد. | 4 |
And the lintels above the hinges were shaken at the voice of the one crying out. And the house was filled with smoke.
| آنگاه گفتم: «وای بر من که هلاک شدم! زیرا من مردی ناپاک لب هستم و در میان قومی ناپاک لب زندگی می‌کنم، و چشمانم پادشاه، خداوند لشکرهای آسمان را دیده است!» | 5 |
And I said: “Woe to me! For I have remained silent. For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live in the midst of a people having unclean lips, and I have seen with my eyes the King, the Lord of hosts!”
| سپس یکی از فرشتگان به طرف مذبح پرواز کرد و با انبری که در دست داشت زغالی افروخته برداشت | 6 |
And one of the Seraphim flew to me, and in his hand was a burning coal, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
| و آن را روی دهانم گذاشت و گفت: «حال این زغال افروخته لبهایت را لمس کرده است، تقصیرت رفع شده و تمام گناهانت بخشیده شده است.» | 7 |
And he touched my mouth, and he said, “Behold, this has touched your lips, and so your iniquities will be taken away, and your sin will be cleansed.”
| آنگاه شنیدم که خداوند می‌گفت: «چه کسی را بفرستم تا پیغام ما را به این قوم برساند؟» گفتم: «خداوندا، من حاضرم بروم. مرا بفرست.» | 8 |
And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send?” and, “Who will go for us?” And I said: “Here I am. Send me.”
| فرمود: «برو و به این قوم بگو:”به دقت گوش دهید، اما چیزی نفهمید. خوب نگاه کنید، اما درک نکنید.“ | 9 |
And he said: “Go forth! And you shall say to this people: ‘When you listen, you will hear and not understand. And when you see a vision, you will not comprehend.’
| دل این قوم را سخت ساز، گوشهایشان را سنگین کن و چشمانشان را ببند، مبادا با چشمان خود ببینند و با گوشهای خود بشنوند و با دلهای خود بفهمند و به سوی من بازگشت کرده، شفا یابند.» | 10 |
Blind the heart of this people. Make their ears heavy and close their eyes, lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and then I would heal them.”
| گفتم: «خداوندا، تا به کی این وضع ادامه خواهد داشت؟» پاسخ داد: «تا وقتی که شهرهایشان خراب شوند و کسی در آنها باقی نماند و تمام سرزمینشان ویران گردد، | 11 |
And I said, “For how long, O Lord?” And he said, “Until the cities are desolate, without an inhabitant, and the houses are without a man, and the land will be left behind, deserted.”
| و من همهٔ آنها را به سرزمینهای دور دست بفرستم و سرزمین آنها متروک شود. | 12 |
For the Lord will take the men far away, and she who will have been left behind will be multiplied in the midst of the earth.
| در آن زمان هر چند یک دهم از قوم من در سرزمین خود باقی می‌مانند، اما آنان نیز از بین خواهند رفت. با این حال قوم اسرائیل مانند بلوط و چنار خواهند بود که چون قطع شود کنده‌اش در زمین باقی می‌ماند و دوباره رشد می‌کند.» | 13 |
But still, there will be a tithing within her, and she will be converted, and she will be put on display, like a terebinth tree and like an oak which extends its branches. And what will remain standing within her will be a holy offspring.
