اشعیا 33

1 وای بر شما ای آشوری‌ها که همه را غارت می‌کنید و پیمانهایی را که با قومهای دیگر بسته‌اید زیر پا می‌گذارید. به‌زودی این غارت و خیانت شما پایان خواهد یافت و آنگاه خود شما مورد غارت و خیانت واقع خواهید شد.

Woe to! [the] destroyer and you not [have been] destroyed and [the] traitor and not people have dealt treacherously with him when finishing you destroying you will be destroyed when completing you to deal treacherously people will deal treacherously with you.

2 ای خداوند، بر ما رحم کن، زیرا چشم امید ما به توست. هر بامداد به ما قدرت عطا کن و ما را از سختی نجات ده.

O Yahweh show favor to us for you we have waited be strength their to the mornings also salvation our in a time of distress.

3 دشمن وقتی صدایت را بشنود خواهد گریخت؛ زمانی که تو برخیزی قومها پراکنده خواهند شد.

From [the] sound of tumult they flee peoples from arising your they scatter nations.

4 اموال دشمنان ما، مانند مزرعه‌ای که مورد هجوم ملخ واقع شده باشد، غارت خواهد گردید.

And it will be gathered plunder your gathering of locust[s] like [the] rushing of locusts [someone will be] rushing on it.

5 خداوند بزرگ و والاست و بر همه چیز تسلط دارد. او اورشلیم را از عدل و انصاف پر خواهد ساخت

[is] exalted Yahweh for [he is] dwelling a high place he will fill Zion justice and righteousness.

6 و به قوم یهودا استحکام خواهد بخشید. او همیشه از قوم خود حمایت می‌کند و به ایشان حکمت و بصیرت می‌بخشد. خداترسی گنج بزرگ ایشان است!

And he will be [the] steadiness of times your wealth of deliverance wisdom and knowledge [the] fear of Yahweh it [will be] treasure his.

7 اما در حال حاضر فرستادگان قوم یهودا از شدت ناامیدی گریانند، زیرا آشور تقاضای ایشان را برای صلح نپذیرفته است.

There! valiant one their they have cried out [the] outside towards messengers of peace bitter they weep!

8 شاهراههای یهودا خراب شده و دیگر اثری از مسافران نیست. آشوری‌ها پیمان صلح را زیر پا نهاده‌اند و به وعده‌هایی که در حضور گواهان داده‌اند توجهی ندارند؛ آنها به هیچ‌کس اعتنا نمی‌کنند.

They have been made desolate highways he has ceased [one who] passes by of a path someone has broken a covenant someone has rejected cities not anyone has valued humankind.

9 سرزمین اسرائیل از بین رفته، لبنان نابود شده، شارون به بیابان تبدیل گشته و برگهای درختان باشان و کرمل ریخته است.

It has dried up it has languished [the] land it has displayed shame Lebanon it has withered it has become Sharon like desert plain and [is] shaking off Bashan and Carmel.

10 اما خداوند می‌فرماید: «برمی‌خیزم و قدرت و توانایی خود را نشان می‌دهم!

Now I will arise he says Yahweh now I will exalt myself now I will lift myself up.

11 ای آشوری‌ها، هر چه تلاش کنید سودی نخواهد داشت. نفس خودتان به آتش تبدیل شده، شما را خواهد کشت.

You will conceive dry grass you will give birth to stubble breath your [is] a fire [which] it will consume you.

12 سپاهیان شما مثل خارهایی که در آتش انداخته می‌شوند، سوخته و خاکستر خواهند شد.

And they will be peoples burnings of lime thornbushes cut down with fire they will be kindled.

13 ای قومهایی که دور هستید، به آنچه کرده‌ام توجه کنید؛ و ای قومهایی که نزدیک هستید، به قدرت من پی ببرید.»

Hear O distant [ones] [that] which I have done and know O near [ones] strength my.

14 گناهکاران و خدانشناسانی که در اورشلیم هستند از ترس می‌لرزند و فریاد برمی‌آورند: «کدام یک از ما می‌تواند از آتش سوزان و دائمی مجازات خدا جان به در برد؟»

They are in dread in Zion sinners it has seized trembling godless [people] who? - will he sojourn of us a fire consuming who? will he sojourn of us hearths of perpetuity.

15 کسی می‌تواند از این آتش جان به در برد که درستکار باشد و به راستی عمل نماید، به خاطر منافع خود ظلم نکند، رشوه نگیرد، و با کسانی که شرارت و جنایت می‌کنند همدست نشود.

[one who] walks Righteousness and [one who] speaks uprightness [one who] rejects unjust gain of extortion [one who] shakes out hands his from taking hold on bribe [one who] shuts ear his from hearing blood and [one who] shuts eyes his from looking on evil.

16 چنین اشخاص در امنیت به سر خواهند برد و صخره‌های مستحکم، پناهگاه ایشان خواهند بود.

He high places he will dwell [will be] strongholds of cliffs refuge his food his [will be] given water his [will be] reliable.

17 بار دیگر چشمان شما پادشاهتان را در شکوه و زیبایی‌اش خواهند دید و سرزمین وسیعی را که او بر آن سلطنت می‌کند مشاهده خواهند کرد.

A king in beauty his they will see eyes your they will see a land of distances.

18 در آن زمان به روزهای ترسناکی که در گذشته داشتید فکر خواهید کرد روزهایی که سرداران آشور برجهای شما را می‌شمردند تا ببینند چقدر غنیمت می‌توانند از شما به دست آورند.

Heart your it will meditate on terror where? [is one who] counted where? [is one who] weighed where? [is one who] counted the towers.

19 ولی آن روزها گذشته است و از آن قوم ستمگری که زبانشان را نمی‌فهمیدید دیگر اثری نیست.

A people barbarous not you will see a people [too] unintelligible of lip for hearing stammering of tongue there not [is] understanding.

20 به اورشلیم، این شهر جشنهای مقدّس نگاه کنید و ببینید چگونه در صلح و امنیت به سر می‌برد! اورشلیم محکم و پا برجا خواهد بود درست مانند خیمه‌ای که میخهایش کنده نمی‌شود و طنابهایش پاره نمی‌گردد.

See Zion [the] town of appointed feast our eyes your they will see Jerusalem a habitation undisturbed a tent [which] not anyone will pack up [which] not anyone will pull out tent pegs its to perpetuity and all ropes its not they will be torn apart.

21 خداوند پرجلال ما را همچون رودخانه‌ای وسیع محافظت خواهد کرد تا هیچ دشمنی نتواند از آن عبور کرده، به ما یورش برد!

That except there [will be] majestic Yahweh for us a place of rivers canals broad of both hands not it will go on it a ship of rowing and a ship majestic not it will pass along it.

22 خداوند پادشاه و رهبر ماست؛ او از ما مراقبت خواهد کرد و ما را نجات خواهد داد.

For Yahweh [is] judge our Yahweh [is] commander our Yahweh [is] king our he he will deliver us.

23 طناب کشتی‌های دشمن سست خواهد شد و پایه‌های دکل را نگه نخواهد داشت و افراد دشمن نخواهند توانست بادبانها را بکشند. ما تمام غنایم دشمن را به چنگ خواهیم آورد؛ حتی لنگان نیز سهمی از این غنایم خواهند برد.

They are loose ropes your not they make firm [the] base of mast their not they have spread out [the] sail then it will be divided booty of plunder in abundance lame [people] they will take as spoil spoil.

24 هر که در سرزمین ما باشد دیگر نخواهد گفت: «بیمار هستم»؛ و تمام گناهان ساکنان این سرزمین بخشیده خواهد شد.

And not he will say an inhabitant I am sick the people which dwells in it [will be] forgiven of iniquity.
