اشعیا 26
| در آن روز، این سرود در سرزمین یهودا خوانده خواهد شد: شهر ما قوی و محکم است و خدا با حصار نجاتبخش خود ما را حفظ می‌کند. | 1 |
In that day they shall sing this song in the land of Judea; Behold a strong city; and he shall make salvation [its] wall and bulwark.
| دروازه‌ها را بگشایید تا قوم عادل و با ایمان وارد شوند. | 2 |
Open you the gates, let the nation enter that keeps righteousness, and keeps truth,
| ای خداوند، کسانی را که به تو توکل دارند و در عزم خود راسخند در آرامش کامل نگاه خواهی داشت. | 3 |
supporting truth, and keeping peace: for on you, O Lord,
| همیشه بر خداوند توکل کنید؛ او جان پناه جاودانی ماست! | 4 |
they have trusted with confidence for ever, the great, the eternal God;
| خدا اشخاص مغرور را پست گردانیده و شهر مستحکم آنان را با خاک یکسان کرده است. | 5 |
who have humbled and brought down them that dwell on high, you shall cast down strong cities, and bring them to the ground.
| کسانی که زیر ظلم و ستم بوده‌اند اینک پیروزمندانه بر خرابه‌های شهر قدم می‌گذارند و آن را لگدمال می‌کنند. | 6 |
And the feet of the meek and lowly shall trample them.
| راه درستکاران راست است؛ پس ای خدای راستی راه ایشان را هموار ساز. | 7 |
The way of the godly is made straight: the way of the godly is also prepared.
| ای خداوند، ما از خواست تو پیروی می‌کنیم و به تو امید بسته‌ایم؛ اشتیاق قلب ما تنها تو هستی. | 8 |
For the way of the Lord is judgment: we have hoped in your name, and on the remembrance [of you],
| شب را در اشتیاق تو به سر می‌برم و هنگام سپیده دم تو را می‌طلبم. هنگامی که تو جهان را داوری کنی آنگاه مردم مفهوم عدالت را خواهند آموخت. | 9 |
which our soul longs for: my spirit seeks you very early in the morning, O God, for your commandments are a light on the earth: learn righteousness, you that dwell upon the earth.
| هر چند تو نسبت به گناهکاران رحیم هستی، اما آنان هرگز یاد نمی‌گیرند که خوبی کنند. آنان در این سرزمین خوبان به بدکاری خود ادامه می‌دهند و به جلال و عظمت تو توجه نمی‌کنند. | 10 |
For the ungodly one is put down: no one who will not learn righteousness on the earth, shall be able to do the truth: let the ungodly be taken away, that he see not the glory of the Lord.
| دشمنانت نمی‌دانند که تو آنها را مجازات خواهی کرد. خداوندا، آنها را مجازات کن و نشان بده که قومت را دوست داری. بگذار سرافکنده شوند؛ بگذار در آتش خشم تو بسوزند. | 11 |
O Lord, your arm is exalted, yet they knew it not: but when they know they shall be ashamed: jealousy shall seize upon an untaught nation, and now fire shall devour the adversaries.
| خداوندا، می‌دانیم تو برای ما صلح و سلامتی به ارمغان خواهی آورد، زیرا تا به حال هر موفقیتی که کسب کرده‌ایم، در واقع تو به ما عنایت فرموده‌ای. | 12 |
O Lord our God, give us peace: for you have rendered to us all things.
| ای خداوند، اربابان بسیاری بر ما حکومت کرده‌اند، اما ارباب واقعی ما تو هستی و ما تنها تو را پرستش خواهیم کرد. | 13 |
O Lord our God, take possession of us: O Lord, we know not [any] other beside you: we name your name.
| آنان مردند و از بین رفتند و دیگر هرگز باز نمی‌گردند. تو آنها را به سزای اعمالشان رساندی و نابود کردی و نامشان را از خاطرها محو ساختی. | 14 |
But the dead shall not see life, neither shall physicians by any means raise [them] up: therefore you have brought [wrath] upon [them], and slain [them], and have taken away every male of them. Bring more evils upon them, O Lord;
| ای خداوند، قوم خود را افزودی و مملکت ما را وسیع ساختی. این سبب شده است که تو معروف شوی و نامت بر سر زبانها بیفتد. | 15 |
bring more evils on the glorious ones of the earth.
| خداوندا، تو قومت را تنبیه کردی و ایشان هنگام سختی، در خفا به درگاه تو دعا کردند. | 16 |
Lord, in affliction I remembered you; your chastening was to us with small affliction.
| ای خداوند، ما در حضور تو مثل زن حامله‌ای هستیم که هنگام زاییدن درد می‌کشد و فریاد برمی‌آورد. | 17 |
And as a woman in travail draws near to be delivered, [and] cries out in her pain; so have we been to your beloved.
| هر چند حامله شده، درد کشیدیم، ولی چیزی نزاییدیم! نتوانستیم برای ساکنان زمین نجات به ارمغان آوریم، و به دنیا حیات ببخشیم. | 18 |
We have conceived, O Lord, because of your fear, and have been in pain, and have brought forth the breath of your salvation, which we have wrought upon the earth: we shall not fall, but all that dwell upon the land shall fall.
| اما مردگان قوم تو زنده شده، از خاک برخواهند خاست؛ زیرا شبنم تو بر بدنهای ایشان خواهد نشست و به آنها حیات خواهد بخشید. کسانی که در خاک زمین خفته‌اند بیدار شده، سرود شادمانی سر خواهند داد. | 19 |
The dead shall rise, and they that are in the tombs shall be raised, and they that are in the earth shall rejoice: for the dew from you is healing to them: but the land of the ungodly shall perish.
| ای قوم من، به خانه‌های خود بروید و درها را پشت سر خود ببندید. مدت کوتاهی خود را پنهان کنید تا غضب خدا بگذرد. | 20 |
Go, my people, enter into your closets, shut your door, hide yourself for a little season, until the anger of the Lord have passed away.
| زیرا خداوند از آسمان می‌آید تا مردم دنیا را به سبب گناهانشان مجازات کند. زمین تمام خونهای ریخته شده را آشکار خواهد ساخت و دیگر اجساد کشته‌شدگان را در خود پنهان نخواهد کرد. | 21 |
For, behold, the Lord is bringing wrath from [his] holy place upon the dwellers on the earth: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall not cover her slain.
