هوشع 6

1 قوم اسرائیل می‌گویند: «بیایید به سوی خداوند بازگشت نماییم. او ما را دریده و خودش نیز ما را شفا خواهد داد. او ما را مجروح ساخته و خود بر زخم ما مرهم خواهد گذاشت.

Come so let us return to Yahweh for he he has torn to pieces and he will heal us he has struck and he will bind up us.

2 بعد از دو سه روز ما را دوباره زنده خواهد کرد و ما در حضور او زندگی خواهیم نمود.

He will restore to life us from two days on the day third he will raise up us and we may live before him.

3 بیایید تلاش کنیم تا خداوند را بشناسیم! همان‌طور که دمیدن سپیدهٔ صبح و ریزش باران بهاری حتمی است، اجابت دعای ما از جانب او نیز حتمی است.»

And let us know let us pursue to know Yahweh like [the] dawn [is] steadfast going forth his so he may come like the rain to us like [the] spring rain [which] it waters [the] land.

4 اما خداوند می‌فرماید: «ای اسرائیل و یهودا، من با شما چه کنم؟ زیرا محبت شما مانند ابر صبحگاهی زودگذر است و همچون شبنم به زودی ناپدید می‌شود.

What? will I do to you O Ephraim what? will I do to you O Judah and loyalty your [is] like a cloud of [the] morning and like dew rising early going.

5 به این دلیل است که من انبیای خود را فرستاده‌ام تا کلام داوری مرا بیان کنند و از هلاکتی که در انتظارتان است شما را آگاه سازند. پس بدانید که داوری من چون صاعقه بر شما فرود خواهد آمد.

There-fore I will cut [them] in pieces by the prophets I will kill them by [the] words of mouth my and judgments your [is] light [which] it goes forth.

6 من از شما محبت می‌خواهم نه قربانی. من از هدایای شما خشنود نیستم بلکه خواهان آنم که مرا بشناسید.

For covenant loyalty I desire and not sacrifice and [the] knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

7 «ولی شما نیز مانند آدم، عهد مرا شکستید و به من خیانت ورزیدید.

And they like Adam they have transgressed [the] covenant there they dealt treacherously with me.

8 جلعاد، شهر گناهکاران و قاتلان است.

Gilead [is] a town of doers of wickedness tracked from blood.

9 اهالی آن راهزنان تبهکاری هستند که برای قربانیان خود در کمین می‌نشینند. کاهنان در طول راه شکیم، کشتار می‌کنند و دست به هر نوع گناهی می‌زنند.

And as wait for a person marauding bands an association of priests [the] way they murder Shechem towards for wickedness they have done.

10 آری، من عملی هولناک در اسرائیل دیده‌ام؛ مردم به دنبال خدایان دیگر رفته و به کلی نجس شده‌اند.

11 «ای یهودا، مجازاتهای بسیاری نیز در انتظار توست، هرچند می‌خواستم سعادت را به قوم خویش بازگردانم.

Also O Judah he has appointed a harvest for you when turn back I [the] captivity of people my.
