| بعد از این وقایع، خداوند در رویا به ابرام چنین گفت: «ای ابرام نترس، زیرا من همچون سپر از تو محافظت خواهم کرد و اجری بسیار عظیم به تو خواهم داد.» | 1 |
after [the] word: thing [the] these to be word LORD to(wards) Abram in/on/with vision to/for to say not to fear Abram I shield to/for you wages your to multiply much
| اما ابرام در پاسخ گفت: «ای خداوند یهوه، این اجر تو چه فایده‌ای برای من دارد، زیرا که من فرزندی ندارم و این العازار دمشقی، غلام من، صاحب ثروتم خواهد شد. | 2 |
and to say Abram Lord YHWH/God what? to give: give to/for me and I to go: continue childless and son acquisition house: household my he/she/it Damascus Eliezer
| تو به من نسلی نبخشیده‌ای، پس غلامم وارث من خواهد شد.» | 3 |
and to say Abram look! to/for me not to give: give seed: children and behold son: child house: household my to possess: possess [obj] me
| سپس خداوند به او فرمود: «این غلام وارث تو نخواهد شد، زیرا تو خود پسری خواهی داشت و او وارث همه ثروتت خواهد شد.» | 4 |
and behold word LORD to(wards) him to/for to say not to possess: possess you this that if: except if: except which to come out: produce from belly your he/she/it to possess: possess you
| خداوند شب هنگام ابرام را به بیرون خانه فرا خواند و به او فرمود: «ستارگان آسمان را بنگر و ببین آیا می‌توانی آنها را بشماری؟ نسل تو نیز چنین بی‌شمار خواهد بود.» | 5 |
and to come out: send [obj] him [the] outside [to] and to say to look please [the] heaven [to] and to recount [the] star if be able to/for to recount [obj] them and to say to/for him thus to be seed: children your
| آنگاه ابرام به خداوند ایمان آورد و خداوند این را برای او عدالت به شمار آورد. | 6 |
and be faithful in/on/with LORD and to devise: count her to/for him righteousness
| خدا به ابرام فرمود: «من همان خداوندی هستم که تو را از شهر اور کلدانیان بیرون آوردم تا این سرزمین را به تو دهم.» | 7 |
and to say to(wards) him I LORD which to come out: send you from Ur Chaldea to/for to give: give to/for you [obj] [the] land: country/planet [the] this to/for to possess: take her
| اما ابرام در پاسخ گفت: «خداوند یهوه، چگونه مطمئن شوم که تو این سرزمین را به من خواهی داد؟» | 8 |
and to say Lord YHWH/God in/on/with what? to know for to possess: take her
| خداوند به او فرمود: «یک گوسالهٔ مادهٔ سه ساله، یک بز مادهٔ سه ساله، یک قوچ سه ساله، یک قمری و یک کبوتر برای من بیاور.» | 9 |
and to say to(wards) him to take: bring [emph?] to/for me heifer to do three and goat to do three and ram to do three and turtledove and young bird
| ابرام همۀ اینها را نزد خداوند آورد و هر کدام را از بالا تا پایین دو نصف کرد و پاره‌های هر کدام از آنها را در مقابل هم گذاشت؛ ولی پرنده‌ها را نصف نکرد. | 10 |
and to take: bring to/for him [obj] all these and to cut up [obj] them in/on/with midst and to give: put man: anyone part his to/for to encounter: toward neighbor his and [obj] [the] bird not to cut up
| و لاشخورهایی را که بر اجساد حیوانات می‌نشستند، دور نمود. | 11 |
and to go down [the] bird of prey upon [the] corpse and to blow [obj] them Abram
| هنگام غروب، ابرام به خواب عمیقی فرو رفت. در عالم خواب، تاریکی وحشتناکی او را احاطه کرد. | 12 |
and to be [the] sun to/for to come (in): come and deep sleep to fall: fall upon Abram and behold terror darkness great: large to fall: fall upon him
| آنگاه خداوند به ابرام فرمود: «یقین بدان که نسل تو مدت چهارصد سال در مملکت بیگانه‌ای بندگی خواهند کرد و مورد ظلم و ستم قرار خواهند گرفت. | 13 |
and to say to/for Abram to know to know for sojourner to be seed: children your in/on/with land: country/planet not to/for them and to serve them and to afflict [obj] them four hundred year
| اما من آن قومی را که ایشان را اسیر سازند، مجازات خواهم نمود و سرانجام نسل تو با اموال زیاد از آنجا بیرون خواهند آمد. | 14 |
and also [obj] [the] nation which to serve to judge I and after so to come out: come in/on/with property great: large
| (تو نیز در کمال پیری در آرامش خواهی مُرد و دفن شده، به پدرانت خواهی پیوست.) | 15 |
and you(m. s.) to come (in): come to(wards) father your in/on/with peace to bury in/on/with greyheaded pleasant
| آنها بعد از چهار نسل، به این سرزمین باز خواهند گشت، زیرا شرارت قوم اموری که در اینجا زندگی می‌کنند، هنوز به اوج خود نرسیده است.» | 16 |
and generation fourth to return: return here/thus for not complete iniquity: crime [the] Amorite till here/thus
| وقتی آفتاب غروب کرد و هوا تاریک شد، تنوری پُر دود و مشعلی فروزان از وسط پاره‌های حیوانات گذشت. | 17 |
and to be [the] sun to come (in): come and darkness to be and behold oven smoke and torch fire which to pass between [the] piece [the] these
| آن روز خداوند با ابرام عهد بست و فرمود: «من این سرزمین را از مرز مصر تا رود فرات به نسل تو می‌بخشم، | 18 |
in/on/with day [the] he/she/it to cut: make(covenant) LORD with Abram covenant to/for to say to/for seed: children your to give: give [obj] [the] land: country/planet [the] this from river Egypt till [the] river [the] great: large river Euphrates
| یعنی سرزمین اقوام قینی، قِنِزّی، قَدمونی، | 19 |
[obj] [the] Kenite and [obj] [the] Kenizzite and [obj] [the] Kadmonite
| حیتّی، فِرزّی، رِفایی، | 20 |
and [obj] [the] Hittite and [obj] [the] Perizzite and [obj] [the] Rephaim
| اَموری، کَنعانی، جِرجاشی و یِبوسی را.» | 21 |
and [obj] [the] Amorite and [obj] [the] Canaanite and [obj] [the] Girgashite and [obj] [the] Jebusite
