حِزِقیال 27

1 خداوند به من فرمود: «ای پسر انسان، برای صور این مرثیهٔ غم‌انگیز را بخوان:

And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,

2

“And you, son of man, lift up a lamentation concerning Tyre, and you have said to Tyre:

3 «ای شهر مقتدر بندری، ای مرکز تجارت دنیا، به پیام خداوند یهوه گوش کن! می‌گویی که در تمام دنیا شهری زیباتر از تو نیست.

O dweller on the entrances of the sea, Merchant of the peoples to many islands, Thus said Lord YHWH: O Tyre, you have said, I [am] the perfection of beauty.

4 تو حدود خود را به داخل دریا رسانیده‌ای و سازندگانت تو را مانند یک کشتی زیبا ساخته‌اند.

Your borders [are] in the heart of the seas, Your builders have perfected your beauty.

5 ایشان تخته‌های تو را از بهترین صنوبرهای کوه هرمون درست کرده‌اند و دکلهای تو را از سروهای لبنان ساخته‌اند.

They have built of firs from Senir all your double-boarded ships for you, They have taken of cedars from Lebanon to make a mast for you,

6 پاروهایت از چوب بلوط ناحیهٔ باشان است. عرشهٔ تو را از چوب شمشاد ساحل جنوبی قبرس ساخته‌اند و با عاج آنها را زینت داده‌اند.

They made your oars of oaks from Bashan, They have made your bench of ivory, A branch of Ashurim from islands of Chittim.

7 بادبانهایت از بهترین پارچه‌های کتان گلدوزی شدهٔ مصر ساخته شده است. سایبان آبی و بنفش تو را از ناحیهٔ شرقی جزیرهٔ قبرس آورده‌اند.

Your sail has been of fine linen with embroidery from Egypt, To be for your ensign, Your covering has been of blue and purple from islands of Elishah.

8 پاروزنان تو اهل صیدون و اَرواد هستند و ملوانان تو از ماهرترین افراد سرزمینت می‌باشند.

Inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad have been rowers for you, Your wise men, O Tyre, have been in you, They [are] your pilots.

9 کار قیراندود کردن درزهای کشتی‌ات به عهدهٔ مردان پیر و کارآزمودهٔ جِبال است. کشتی‌های پر از کالا از همه جا می‌آیند تا با تو داد و ستد نمایند.

The elderly of Gebal and its wise men have been in you, Strengthening your breach; All ships of the sea and their mariners, Have been in you, to trade your merchandise.

10 مردان سرزمینهای دور دست پارس، لود، و فوط جزو سپاهیان تو می‌باشند. آنها کمر به خدمت تو بسته‌اند و تو افتخار می‌کنی از اینکه ایشان سپرها و کلاهخودهای خود را بر دیوارهایت آویزان می‌کنند.

Persia and Lud and Phut Have been in your forces—your men of war. They hung up shield and helmet in you, They have given out your honor.

11 سربازان ارواد بر دیوارهایت نگهبانی می‌دهند و مردان جماد بر برجهای تو دیدبانی می‌کنند. سپرهای خود را به ردیف روی دیوارها می‌آویزند و شکوه و زیبایی تو را کامل می‌کنند.

The sons of Arvad, and your force, [Are] on your walls all around, And short swordsmen have been in your towers, They have hung up their shields on your walls all around, They have perfected your beauty.

12 «تو با ترشیش تجارت می‌کنی. از آنجا نقره، آهن، روی و سرب فراوان به بازارهایت می‌آید.

Tarshish [is] your merchant, Because of the abundance of all wealth, They have given silver, iron, tin, and lead [for] your wares.

13 تاجران یونان، توبال و ماشک برده‌ها و ظروف مفرغین برای تو می‌آورند،

Javan, Tubal, and Meshech—they [are] your merchants, They have given [the] soul of man, and vessels of bronze, [for] your merchandise.

14 و تاجران توجرمه، اسب بارکش، اسب جنگی و قاطر به تو می‌فروشند.

Those of the house of Togarmah, They have given horses, and riding steeds, and mules [for] your wares.

15 «تاجران رودس و بازرگانان سرزمینهای ساحلی، مجذوب بازارهای تو هستند و عاج و چوب آبنوس را با کالاهای تو معاوضه می‌کنند.

Sons of Dedan [are] your merchants, Many islands [are] the market of your hand, They sent back horns of ivory and ebony [for] your reward.

16 سوریه برای خرید کالاهای فراوانت تاجران خود را نزد تو می‌فرستد. آنها با خود زمرد، ارغوان، پارچه‌های گلدوزی شده، کتان لطیف، مرجان و عقیق می‌آورند.

Aram [is] your merchant, Because of the abundance of your works, They have given emerald, purple, and embroidery, And fine linen, and coral, and agate for your wares.

17 یهودا و اسرائیل تجار خود را با گندم، حلوا، عسل، روغن زیتون و بلسان نزد تو می‌فرستند.

Judah and the land of Israel—they [are] your merchants, They have given wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, And honey, and oil, and balm [for] your merchandise.

18 دمشق هم برای خرید کالا و صنایع گوناگون تو، شراب حلبون و پشم سفید سوری به تو می‌دهد.

Damascus [is] your merchant, For the abundance of your works, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For wine of Helbon, and white wool.

19 دانی‌ها و یونانیان اهل اوزال با تو روابط تجاری دارند و برایت آهن، سلیخه و نیشکر می‌آورند.

Dan and Javan go about with your wares, They have given shining iron, cassia, and cane, It has been in your merchandise.

20 و اهالی ددان نمدهای نفیس برای زین اسبانت به تو می‌فروشند.

Dedan [is] your merchant, For clothes of freedom for riding.

21 «عربها و بزرگان قیدار برایت بره و قوچ و بز می‌آورند.

Arabia, and all princes of Kedar, They [are] the traders of your hand, For lambs, and rams, and male goats, In these your merchants.

22 بازرگانان سبا و رعمه با همه نوع ادویه‌جات و جواهرات و طلا می‌آیند.

Merchants of Sheba and Raamah—they [are] your merchants, They have given the chief of all spices, And every precious stone, and gold [for] your wares.

23 تجار حران، کنه، عدن، سبا، آشور و کلمد نزد تو می‌آیند.

Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, merchants of Sheba, Asshur—Chilmad—[are] your merchants,

24 آنها برای معامله با تو همه نوع کالا می‌آورند لباسهای فاخر، پارچه‌های آبی، پارچه‌های گلدوزی شده، فرشهای رنگارنگ، طنابها و ریسمانهای نفیس.

They [are] your merchants for perfect things, For wrappings of blue, and embroidery, And for treasuries of rich apparel, With cords bound and girded, for your merchandise,

25 کالاهای تو با کشتی‌های بزرگ تجاری حمل می‌شوند. انبارهای جزیرهٔ تو پر و لبریزند!

Ships of Tarshish are journeying [with] your merchandise for you, And you are filled and honored greatly, In the heart of the seas.

26 ولی رهبرانت، کشتی سرزمین تو را به وسط دریا می‌رانند؛ در آنجا کشتی تو گرفتار تندباد شرقی شده، در قلب دریا در هم شکسته خواهد شد.

Those rowing you have brought you into great waters, The east wind has broken you in the heart of the seas.

27 همه چیز تو از دست خواهد رفت. اموال و کالاها، ناخدایان و ملوانان، کشتی‌سازان و بازرگانان، سربازان و همهٔ قوم تو در روز در هم شکسته شدن کشتی‌ات در دریا غرق خواهند شد.

Your wealth and your wares, Your merchandise, your mariners, And your pilots, strengtheners of your breach, And the traders of your merchandise, And all your men of war, who [are] in you, And in all your assembly that [is] in your midst, Fall into the heart of the seas in the day of your fall,

28 از فریاد ناخدایان تو سواحل دریا تکان خواهند خورد.

At the voice of the cry of your pilots the outskirts shake.

29 «همهٔ دریانوردان به خشکی خواهند آمد و در ساحل ایستاده، نگاه خواهند کرد.

And all handling an oar come down from their ships, Mariners [and] all the pilots of the sea stand on the land,

30 به تلخی خواهند گریست، خاک بر سر خود خواهند ریخت و در خاکستر خواهند غلطید.

And have sounded with their voice for you, And cry bitterly, and cause dust to go up on their heads, They roll themselves in ashes;

31 از غصه و ناراحتی موی سر خود را خواهند کند، لباس ماتم پوشیده؛ با تلخی جان برایت گریه خواهند کرد. آنها عزا خواهند گرفت

And they have made themselves bald for you, And they have girded on sackcloth, And they have wept for you, In bitterness of soul—a bitter mourning.

32 و این مرثیه را برای تو خواهند خواند:”در تمام دنیا شهری به زیبایی و عظمت صور نبود، ولی ببینید حالا چگونه در وسط دریا خاموش شده است!

And their sons have lifted up a lamentation for you, And they have lamented over you, Who [is] as Tyre? As the cut-off one in the midst of the sea?

33 ای صور اموال و ثروت تو بسیاری از قومها را سیر می‌کرد. پادشاهان جهان را با کالاهای صادراتی خود ثروتمند می‌نمودی.

With the outgoing of your wares from the seas, You have filled many peoples, With the abundance of your riches, and your merchandise, You have enriched [the] kings of earth.

34 اما اینک در هم شکسته شده، زیر دریا مدفون گشته‌ای. تمام کالاها و کارکنانت با تو هلاک شده‌اند.

At the time of [your] being broken by the seas in the depths of the waters, Your merchandise and all your assembly have fallen in your midst.

35 همهٔ ساحل‌نشینان از آنچه که به سر تو آمده است حیرانند. پادشاهان ایشان وحشتزده و پریشانحال می‌باشند.

All inhabitants of the islands have been astonished at you, And their kings have been severely afraid, They have been troubled in countenance.

36 تجار ممالک سر خود را تکان می‌دهند، چون سرنوشت تو وحشتناک است و تو برای همیشه از بین رفته‌ای.“»

Merchants among the peoples have shrieked for you, You have been terrors, and you are not—for all time!”
