حِزِقیال 25

1 پیغام دیگری از طرف خداوند به من رسید: «ای پسر انسان، روی خود را به سوی سرزمین عَمّون برگردان و بر ضد اهالی آنجا پیشگویی کن.

The worde of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,

Sonne of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophecie against them,

3 به ایشان بگو که به آنچه خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید، گوش دهند: وقتی خانهٔ من و سرزمین اسرائیل ویران می‌گشت و یهودا به اسارت برده می‌شد شما شادی می‌کردید؛

And say vnto the Ammonites, Heare the word of the Lord God, Thus saith the Lord God, Because thou saydest, Ha, ha, against my Sanctuarie, when it was polluted, and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate, and against the house of Iudah, when they went into captiuitie,

4 پس من نیز شما را به دست چادرنشین‌های صحرا که در سمت شرقی مملکتتان قرار دارند تسلیم می‌کنم تا سرزمین‌تان را اشغال کنند. آنها چادرهای خود را در میان شما بر پا خواهند کرد، تمام محصولاتتان را برای خود جمع خواهند نمود و شیر دامهای شما را خواهند نوشید.

Beholde, therefore I will deliuer thee to the men of the East for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eate thy fruite, and they shall drinke thy milke.

5 شهر رَبّه را چراگاه شتران می‌کنم. تمام مملکت عمونی‌ها را به صورت بیابان درمی‌آورم تا گله‌های گوسفند در آن بچرند. آنگاه خواهید دانست که من یهوه هستم.»

And I will make Rabbah a dwelling place for camels, and the Ammonites a sheepecote, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord.

6 خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید: «چون شما به هنگام نابودی قوم من کف زدید و شادی کردید و رقصیدید،

For thus saith the Lord God, Because thou hast clapped the hands, and stamped with the feete, and reioyced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel,

7 بنابراین، من نیز دست خود را بر ضد شما دراز خواهم کرد و شما را به دست قومهای دیگر خواهم سپرد تا غارتتان کنند. دیگر نمی‌گذارم به صورت یک قوم باقی بمانید؛ شما را هلاک می‌کنم تا بدانید که من یهوه هستم.»

Beholde, therefore I will stretche out mine hand vpon thee, and will deliuer thee to be spoyled of the heathen, and I will roote thee out from the people, and I will cause thee to be destroyed out of the countreys, and I will destroy thee, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.

8 خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید: «چون موآبی‌ها گفته‌اند یهودا از هیچ قوم دیگری بهتر نیست،

Thus saith the Lord God, Because that Moab and Seir doe say, Beholde, the house of Iudah is like vnto all the heathen,

9 پس من نیز حدود شرقی موآب را به روی دشمن می‌گشایم و شهرهای آن را که مایهٔ فخر و مباهاتش هستند از بین می‌برم، یعنی شهرهای بیت‌یشیموت، بعل معون، و قریه تایم را. قبایل چادرنشینی که در صحرای شرق موآب ساکنند، به داخل عمون و موآب خواهند ریخت. در میان قومها، موآب دیگر یک قوم به حساب نخواهد آمد.

Therefore, beholde, I will open the side of Moab, euen of the cities of his cities, I say, in his frontiers with the pleasant countrey, Beth-ieshimoth, Baal-meon, and Karia-thaim.

I will call the men of the East against the Ammonites, and will giue them in possession, so that the Ammonites shall no more be remembred among the nations,

11 به این طریق موآبی‌ها را مجازات می‌کنم تا بدانند که من یهوه هستم.»

And I will execute iudgements vpon Moab, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord.

12 خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید: «چون قوم ادوم از قوم یهودا انتقام گرفت و با این کار مرتکب گناه بزرگی شد،

Thus sayth the Lord God, Because that Edom hath done euill by taking vengeance vpon the house of Iudah, and hath committed great offence, and reuenged himselfe vpon them,

13 پس با دست خود ادوم را ویران می‌کنم و ساکنانش را با گله‌ها و رمه‌هایشان از بین می‌برم. از تیمان تا ددان همه با شمشیر کشته خواهند شد.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God, I will also stretch out mine hand vpon Edom, and destroy man and beast out of it, and I will make it desolate from Teman, and they of Dedan shall fall by the sworde.

14 این کار به دست قومم اسرائیل به انجام خواهد رسید. ایشان انتقام مرا از شما خواهند گرفت و شدت خشم مرا نشان خواهند داد.» این را خداوند یهوه می‌گوید.

And I will execute my vengeance vpon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall doe in Edom according to mine anger, and according to mine indignation, and they shall know my vengeance, sayth the Lord God.

15 خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید: «چون فلسطینی‌ها از مردم یهودا انتقام گرفته‌اند و از آنها کینهٔ دیرینه به دل داشته، در صدد بودند آنها را نابود سازند،

Thus sayth the Lord God, Because the Philistims haue executed vengeance, and reuenged themselues with a despitefull heart, to destroy it for the olde hatred,

16 پس من با دست خود فلسطینی‌ها را نابود می‌کنم؛ بله، تمام کسانی را که در سرزمین فلسطین زندگی می‌کنند به کلی از بین می‌برم.

Therefore thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, I will stretche out mine hand vpon the Philistims, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

17 از آنها به شدت انتقام می‌گیرم و آنها را سخت مجازات می‌کنم تا شدت خشم خود را به آنها نشان دهم. بعد از آن، خواهند دانست که من یهوه هستم.»

And I will execute great vengeance vpon them with rebukes of mine indignation, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance vpon them.
