حِزِقیال 21
| خداوند به من فرمود: «ای پسر انسان، رو به سوی اورشلیم نموده، کلام مرا بر ضد سرزمین اسرائیل و مکانهای مقدّس آن اعلام نما! | 1 |
Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
| 2 |
'Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and preach toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel;
| بگو که خداوند چنین می‌فرماید: «ای اسرائیل، من علیه تو هستم. من شمشیر خود را از غلاف بیرون کشیده، ساکنانت را، چه عادل و چه شریر، همه را نابود خواهم نمود. | 3 |
and say to the land of Israel: Thus saith the LORD: Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth My sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
| شمشیر من در سراسر سرزمین، از جنوب تا شمال، همه مردم را از بین خواهد برد. | 4 |
Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall My sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north;
| آنگاه همه خواهند دانست که من یهوه شمشیر خود را به دست گرفته‌ام و تا زمانی که مقصود خود را عملی نسازم، آن را غلاف نخواهم نمود. | 5 |
and all flesh shall know that I the LORD have drawn forth My sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more.
| «ای پسر انسان، در نظر مردم آه و ناله کن! با غم و اندوهی جانکاه آه بکش! | 6 |
Sigh therefore, thou son of man; with the breaking of thy loins and with bitterness shalt thou sigh before their eyes.
| اگر از تو بپرسند که چرا آه می‌کشی، بگو که آه و ناله‌ات، به سبب خبر هولناکی است که خداوند یهوه داده است. با شنیدن این خبر، بند دلها پاره خواهد شد و هول و هراس بر همه مستولی خواهد گشت؛ دستها سست و زانوها لرزان خواهد گردید. بگو که روز هلاکت و سیاهی ایشان نزدیک است و داوریهای من واقع خواهد شد.» | 7 |
And it shall be, when they say unto thee: Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt say: Because of the tidings, for it cometh; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be slack, and every spirit shall be faint, and all knees shall drip with water; behold, it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.'
| خداوند فرمود: | 8 |
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
| «ای پسر انسان، نبوّت کن! به مردم بگو که شمشیری تیز و آماده می‌شود تا مردم را بکشد! شادمانی از بین خواهد رفت، زیرا قوم من احکام مرا خوار شمرده است. | 9 |
'Son of man, prophesy, and say: Thus saith the LORD: Say: A sword, a sword, it is sharpened, and also furbished:
| 10 |
It is sharpened that it may make a sore slaughter, it is furbished that it may glitter — or shall we make mirth? — against the rod of My son, contemning every tree.
| بله، شمشیر را صیقل می‌دهند تا بتوان از آن استفاده کرد. این شمشیر تیز و صیقلی شده را به دست قاتل می‌سپارند. | 11 |
And it is given to be furbished, that it may be handled; the sword, it is sharpened, yea, it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
| ای پسر انسان، زارزار گریه کن و بر سر خود بزن، چون آن شمشیر آماده شده تا قوم من اسرائیل و تمام بزرگانش را هلاک سازد. | 12 |
Cry and wail, son of man; for it is upon My people, it is upon all the princes of Israel; they are thrust down to the sword with My people; smite therefore upon thy thigh.
| من قوم خود را امتحان می‌کنم؛ و اگر توبه نکنند، همهٔ این بلایا را بر سرشان خواهم آورد. | 13 |
For there is a trial; and what if it contemn even the rod? It shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD.
| «ای پسر انسان، نبوّت کن؛ پیغام مرا اعلام نما؛ محکم دست بزن! شمشیر را بردار و با تهدید، دو سه بار بالای سرت حرکت بده تا نشان دهی که چه کشتار بزرگی در انتظار این قوم است! | 14 |
Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thy hands together; and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of those to be slain; it is the sword of the great one that is to be slain, which compasseth them about.
| بگذار دلهایشان از ترس فرو ریزد. چون بر هر دروازه‌ای برق شمشیر دیده می‌شود. بله، شمشیر همچون برق آسمان می‌درخشد و برای کشتن، تیز شده است! | 15 |
I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied; ah! it is made glittering, it is sharpened for slaughter.
| ای شمشیر، از راست بزن! از چپ بزن! هر جا می‌خواهی برو! هر چه می‌خواهی بکن! | 16 |
Go thee one way to the right, or direct thyself to the left; whither is thy face set?
| بله، من با غضب، دستهای خود را به هم خواهم زد و شما را مجازات خواهم نمود. آنگاه خشمم فرو خواهد نشست! این را من یهوه می‌گویم.» | 17 |
I will also smite My hands together, and I will satisfy My fury; I the LORD have spoken it.'
| سپس خداوند فرمود: | 18 |
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
| «ای پسر انسان، نقشه‌ای بکش و بر روی آن دو راه رسم کن، یکی به سوی اورشلیم در یهودا، و دیگری به سوی رَبّه که شهر عمونیان است. پادشاه بابِل شمشیر به دست از آن راهها خواهد آمد. علامتی نیز بر سر این دو راهی که از بابِل آغاز می‌شود، نصب کن. | 19 |
'Now, thou son of man, make thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come; they twain shall come forth out of one land; and mark a signpost, mark it clear at the head of the way to the city.
| 20 |
Thou shalt make a way, that the sword may come to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah in Jerusalem the fortified.
| زیرا به‌زودی پادشاه بابِل بر سر دو راهی خواهد ایستاد. او برای آنکه بداند به اورشلیم حمله کند یا به رَبّه، فال خواهد گرفت و با تیرهای ترکش خود، قرعه خواهد انداخت و برای بتها قربانی کرده، با جگر قربانیها فال خواهد گرفت تا ببیند به کدام راه باید برود. | 21 |
For the king of Babylon standeth at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination; he shaketh the arrows to and fro, he inquireth of the teraphim, he looketh in the liver.
| تیرها به او نشان می‌دهد که باید به سوی اورشلیم برود! پس او و سپاهیانش با غریو جنگ، برای کشتار به راه می‌افتند. ایشان در برابر دروازه‌ها، منجنیقها بر پا کرده و برای تصرف شهر، سنگرها و برجها خواهند ساخت. | 22 |
In his right hand is the lot Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth for the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up mounds, to build forts.
| اهالی اورشلیم نمی‌توانند این را باور کنند، چون با بابِل پیمان اتحاد بسته‌اند! اما پادشاه بابِل فقط به این می‌اندیشد که مردم اورشلیم طغیان کرده‌اند. پس او خواهد آمد و ایشان را به اسارت خواهد برد.» | 23 |
And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, who have weeks upon weeks! but it bringeth iniquity to remembrance, that they may be taken.
| بنابراین خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: «تقصیرات شما آشکار است و خطایا و گناهانتان در همه کارها و رفتارتان، به چشم می‌خورد. حال، وقت مجازات شما رسیده و به تبعید خواهید رفت. | 24 |
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that your sins do appear in all your doings; because that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.
| «و تو ای پادشاه اسرائیل، روز مجازات نهایی تو نیز فرا رسیده است. | 25 |
And thou, O wicked one, that art to be slain, the prince of Israel, whose day is come, in the time of the iniquity of the end;
| دستار و تاج را از سرت بردار. از این پس، دیگر چیزی به ترتیب سابق باقی نخواهد ماند؛ فقرا سربلند خواهند شد و ثروتمندان پست و سرافکنده! | 26 |
thus saith the Lord GOD: The mitre shall be removed, and the crown taken off; this shall be no more the same: that which is low shall be exalted, and that which is high abased.
| ویرانی! ویرانی! من این سلسله پادشاهی را ویران خواهم نمود و دیگر سر بلند نخواهد کرد تا زمانی که وارث حقیقی آن ظاهر شود. آنگاه همه چیز را به وی خواهم بخشید. | 27 |
A ruin, a ruin, a ruin, will I make it; this also shall be no more, until he come whose right it is, and I will give it him.
| «ای پسر انسان، درباره عمونی‌ها نیز نبوّت نما، زیرا که قوم مرا به هنگام سختی تمسخر کردند. به ایشان چنین بگو: «شمشیر من علیه شما نیز از غلاف بیرون کشیده شده است! شمشیر من تیز و صیقلی شده و مثل برق آسمان می‌درخشد. | 28 |
And thou, son of man, prophesy, and say: Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their taunt; and say thou: O sword, O sword keen-edged, furbished for the slaughter, to the uttermost, because of the glitterings;
| فالگیران و جادوگران و انبیای دروغین، به دروغ به شما وعده رهایی از دست پادشاه بابِل را داده‌اند. شما گناهکارید و همراه شریران دیگر هلاک خواهید شد. روز داوری و مجازات نهایی شما فرا رسیده و شمشیر بر گردن شما فرو خواهد آمد! | 29 |
While they see falsehood unto thee, while they divine lies unto thee, to lay thee upon the necks of the wicked that are to be slain, whose day is come, in the time of the iniquity of the end!
| آیا پیش از مجازات شما، شمشیر خود را غلاف کنم؟ نه! من شما را در زادگاهتان مجازات خواهم نمود. | 30 |
Cause it to return into its sheath! — In the place where thou wast created, in the land of thine origin, will I judge thee.
| آتش خشم خود را بر شما فرو خواهم ریخت و بر آن خواهم دمید تا شعله‌ور گردد. شما را به دست مردمانی وحشی و بی‌رحم که در ویران کردن ماهرند، تسلیم خواهم نمود. | 31 |
And I will pour out My indignation upon thee, I will blow upon thee with the fire of My wrath; and I will deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, skilful to destroy.
| شما برای آتش، هیزم خواهید شد و خونتان در سرزمین خودتان خواهد ریخت و دیگر کسی شما را به یاد نخواهد آورد، زیرا من که یهوه هستم، این را گفته‌ام.» | 32 |
Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land, thou shalt be no more remembered; for I the LORD have spoken it.'
