حِزِقیال 20
| هفت سال و پنج ماه و ده روز از تبعید ما می‌گذشت، که عده‌ای از رهبران اسرائیل آمدند تا از خداوند هدایت بطلبند. ایشان مقابل من نشستند و منتظر جواب ماندند. | 1 |
Almost seven years [King Jehoiachin and the rest of us had been captured and taken to Babylonia], on the tenth day of the fifth [of that year], some Israeli elders came to me to [if I had a message for them] from Yahweh.
| آنگاه خداوند این پیغام را به من داد: | 2 |
Then Yahweh gave me a message. [He said, ]
| «ای پسر انسان، به رهبران اسرائیل بگو که خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: «چگونه جرأت کرده‌اید که بیایید و از من هدایت بطلبید؟ به حیات خود قسم که هدایتی از من نخواهید یافت! | 3 |
“You human, speak to the Israeli elders and say to them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: [say that] you have come to ask if there is any message from me [RHQ], but [as surely] as I am alive, I will [answer you if] you ask [to tell you] anything.’
| «ای پسر انسان، ایشان را محکوم کن. گناهان این قوم را، از زمان پدرانشان تاکنون، به یادشان بیاور. | 4 |
If you are [RHQ] willing to warn them, remind them of the detestable things that their ancestors did.
| به ایشان بگو خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: «وقتی قوم اسرائیل را انتخاب کردم و خود را در مصر بر ایشان آشکار ساختم، برای آنان قسم خوردم که ایشان را از مصر بیرون آورده، به سرزمینی بیاورم که برای ایشان در نظر گرفته بودم، یعنی به سرزمینی که شیر و عسل در آن جاریست و بهترین جای دنیاست. | 5 |
Then say to them, ‘On the day that I chose [you] Israeli [to belong to me], with my hand lifted up, I made a solemn promise to your [while they were still] in Egypt. I said to them, “I am Yahweh, your God.
| 6 |
I will bring you out of Egypt and lead you to a land that I have chosen for you. It is a very fertile [IDM] and (very beautiful/more beautiful than any other) land.
| «پس به ایشان گفتم که بتهای نفرت‌انگیز و مورد علاقه‌شان را از خود دور کنند و خود را با پرستش خدایان مصری نجس نسازند، زیرا من یهوه خدای ایشان هستم. | 7 |
Each of you must get rid of the disgusting idols that you loved [IDM], and do not defile yourselves [worshiping] those [that you saw] in Egypt. I, Yahweh your God, [am saying this to you].”’
| اما آنان یاغی شده، نخواستند به من گوش فرا دهند و از پرستش بتهای خود و خدایان مصر دست بکشند. پس خواستم که خشم و غضب خود را همان جا در مصر بر ایشان نازل کنم. | 8 |
But they rebelled against me. They would not pay attention to me. They did not get rid of the disgusting idols they loved, and they did not reject those [that they saw] in Egypt. So because I was angry with them, I said that I would punish [MTY] them in Egypt.
| اما برای حفظ حرمت نام خود، این کار را نکردم، مبادا مصری‌ها خدای اسرائیل را تمسخر کرده، بگویند که نتوانست ایشان را از آسیب و بلا دور نگاه دارد. پس در برابر چشمان مصری‌ها، قوم خود اسرائیل را از مصر بیرون آوردم و به بیابان هدایت کردم. | 9 |
But for the sake of my own reputation, I decided to do something in order that I would not be dishonored by the people of the nations who would see it when I brought my people out of Egypt.

Therefore I led them out of Egypt and brought them into the desert.
| در آنجا احکام و قوانین خود را به ایشان اعطا نمودم تا مطابق آنها رفتار کنند و زنده بمانند؛ | 11 |
I gave them [all] my laws and decrees [DOU], in order that they would obey them, and as a result they would live [for a long time].
| و روز شَبّات را به ایشان دادم تا در هفته یک روز استراحت کنند. این علامتی بود بین من و ایشان، تا به یاد آورند که این من یهوه هستم که ایشان را تقدیس و جدا کرده، قوم خود ساخته‌ام. | 12 |
Also, I established the Sabbath/rest days to be a symbol between us to show that I, Yahweh, had caused them to be set [from the other nations].
| «اما بنی‌اسرائیل در بیابان نیز از من اطاعت نکردند. آنان قوانین مرا زیر پا گذاشتند و از احکام حیات‌بخش من سرپیچی کردند، و حرمت روز شَبّات را نگاه نداشتند. پس خواستم که خشم و غضب خود را همان جا در بیابان بر ایشان نازل کنم و نابودشان سازم. | 13 |
But the Israeli people rebelled against me in the desert. They did not obey my commands [DOU]; they rejected them, even though they tell people who obey them that they will live [for a long time], and they profaned the Sabbath days. So I said that I would get rid of them in the desert, and that would show that I was very angry with them.
| اما باز برای حفظ حرمت نام خود، از هلاک کردن ایشان صرف‌نظر نمودم، مبادا اقوامی که دیدند من چگونه بنی‌اسرائیل را از مصر بیرون آوردم، بگویند:”چون خدا نتوانست از ایشان محافظت کند، ایشان را از بین برد.“ | 14 |
But [again], for the sake of my own reputation, I decided to do something else in order that I would not be dishonored/despised by [the people of] the nations who had seen me bring my people out of Egypt.
| اما در بیابان قسم خوردم که ایشان را به سرزمینی که به آنان داده بودم، نیاورم به سرزمینی که شیر و عسل در آن جاریست و بهترین جای دنیاست. | 15 |
I lifted up my hand and solemnly declared to them in the desert that I would not take them into the land that [had promised to] give them, a land that was very fertile [IDM] and (very beautiful/more beautiful than any other) land.
| زیرا از احکام من سرپیچی کرده، قوانین مرا شکستند و روز شَبّات را بی‌حرمت کرده، به سوی بتها کشیده شدند. | 16 |
The reason that I promised that was because they rejected and disobeyed all my laws [DOU] and (desecrated/refused to rest on) the Sabbath days. [They did that] because they [SYN] were devoted [worshiping] their idols.
| با وجود این، بر آنان ترحم نمودم و ایشان را در بیابان به طور کامل هلاک نکردم و از بین نبردم. | 17 |
But, I still pitied them and did not get rid of [all of] them in the desert.
| «بنابراین، در بیابان به فرزندان ایشان گفتم:”به راه پدران خود نروید و به سنت آنها عمل نکنید و خود را با پرستش بتهای ایشان نجس نسازید، | 18 |
I said to their children, ‘Do not do the things that your parents continually did, or defile yourselves [worshiping] their idols.
| چون یهوه خدای شما، من هستم؛ پس فقط از قوانین من پیروی کنید و احکام مرا بجا آورید؛ | 19 |
I am Yahweh your God. Carefully obey [DOU] my laws and commands.
| و حرمت روزهای شَبّات را نگاه دارید، زیرا روز شبّات، نشان عهد بین ماست تا به یادتان آورد که من یهوه، خدای شما هستم.“ | 20 |
Respect my Sabbath days, in order that by doing that [PRS], it will remind you that you belong to me, Yahweh your God.’
| «اما فرزندان ایشان هم نافرمانی کردند. آنان قوانین مرا شکستند و از احکام حیات‌بخش من سرپیچی کردند و حرمت روز شَبّات را نیز نگاه نداشتند. پس خواستم که خشم و غضب خود را همان جا در بیابان بر ایشان نازل کنم و همه را از بین ببرم. | 21 |
But their children [also] rebelled against me. They did not carefully obey my laws [DOU], [even though] the people who obey them will live [for a long time]; and they profaned the Sabbath days. So again I said that by getting rid of them in the desert, I would show that I was very angry with them.
| اما باز هم برای حفظ حرمت نام خود در میان اقوامی که قدرت مرا به هنگام بیرون آوردن بنی‌اسرائیل از مصر دیده بودند، ایشان را از بین نبردم. | 22 |
But I did not do that [IDM]. [Again, ] for the sake of my own reputation, I [decided to] do something in order that I would not be dishonored/despised by [the people of] the nations who had seen it when I brought my people out [of Egypt].
| اما همان زمان که در بیابان بودند، قسم خوردم که ایشان را در سراسر جهان پراکنده سازم، | 23 |
I lifted up my hand and solemnly declared to them in the desert that I would cause them to be scattered among [many] nations [DOU],
| زیرا احکام مرا بجا نیاوردند و قوانین مرا شکستند و روز شَبّات را بی‌حرمت کرده، به سوی بتهای پدرانشان بازگشتند. | 24 |
because they had rejected and disobeyed all my laws [DOU] and desecrated the Sabbath days, and they had eagerly [to worship] the idols that their [had worshiped].
| پس من نیز اجازه دادم قوانین و احکامی را پیروی کنند که حیات در آنها نبود. | 25 |
I also allowed them to obey laws that were not good, and laws that would not enable them to live [a long time if they obeyed them].
| بله، گذاشتم فرزندان خود را به عنوان قربانی برای بتهایشان بسوزانند و با این کار، خود را نجس سازند. بدین ترتیب ایشان را مجازات کردم تا بدانند که من یهوه هستم. | 26 |
I allowed them to become unacceptable to me by their sacrificing their firstborn children in the fire. I did that in order that they would be horrified, and in order that they would know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].
| «ای پسر انسان، به قوم اسرائیل بگو که وقتی پدرانشان را به سرزمین موعود آوردم، در آنجا نیز به من خیانت ورزیدند، چون روی هر تپهٔ بلند و زیر هر درخت سبز، برای بتها قربانی می‌کردند و بخور می‌سوزاندند؛ عطر و بخور خوشبو و هدایای نوشیدنی خود را می‌آوردند و به آنها تقدیم می‌کردند، و با این کارها، خشم مرا برمی‌انگیختند. | 27 |
Therefore, you human, speak to the Israeli people. Say this to them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says [to you]: This is one way that your ancestors dishonored me by turning away from me.
| 28 |
After I brought them into the land that I had solemnly promised to give to them, every time that they saw a high hill or a [big] green tree, they offered [to idols] there. They made offerings to them, and that caused me to become angry. They presented to those idols their fragrant burning incense, and poured out wine offerings to them.
| به ایشان گفتم:”این مکان بلند که برای قربانی به آنجا می‌روید، چیست؟“به همین جهت تا به حال آن محل را مکان بلند می‌نامند.» | 29 |
[Then] I asked them, “Who [RHQ] [told you to worship at] a shrine like this, here on this hilltop?” So they are still called “hilltop shrines”.’
| آنگاه خداوند یهوه فرمود که به آنانی که نزد من آمده بودند، از جانب او چنین بگویم: «آیا شما نیز می‌خواهید مانند پدرانتان، با بت‌پرستی، خود را نجس سازید؟ | 30 |
Therefore, say this to the Israeli people [MTY]: 'This is what Yahweh the Lord says: “You are going to [RHQ] defile yourselves like your ancestors did by strongly [to worship] their disgusting [statues of idols].
| شما هنوز هم برای بتها هدیه می‌آورید و پسران کوچک خود را برای آنها قربانی کرده، می‌سوزانید؛ پس چگونه انتظار دارید که به دعاهای شما گوش دهم و شما را هدایت نمایم؟ به حیات خود قسم که هیچ هدایت و پیغامی به شما نخواهم داد. | 31 |
When you sacrifice your children in the fire, you are still continuing to make yourselves unacceptable to me [worshiping] your many idols. You Israeli people, should I allow you to [what I want you to do]? I, Yahweh the Lord, say that [as surely] as I am alive, [I will not answer] if you inquire.'
| «آنچه در فکرتان هست، هرگز عملی نخواهد شد. شما می‌خواهید مثل قومهای مجاور شوید و مانند آنها، بتهای چوبی و سنگی را بپرستید. | 32 |
You say, ‘We want to be like the [other] nations, like the [other] people-groups in the world. We want to [idols made of] wood and [like they do].’ But what you want will never happen.
| به حیات خود سوگند که من خود، با مشتی آهنین و قدرتی عظیم و با خشمی برافروخته، بر شما سلطنت خواهم نمود! | 33 |
[I], Yahweh your Lord, say that [as surely] as I am alive, I will use my great power [DOU, MTY] to rule over you, and show that I am angry with you.
| با قدرت و قهری عظیم، شما را از سرزمینهایی که در آنجا پراکنده هستید، بیرون خواهم آورد. | 34 |
With my great power I will gather you from the places to which you have been scattered,
| شما را به بیابان امتها آورده، در آنجا شما را داوری و محکوم خواهم نمود، همان‌گونه که پدرانتان را پس از بیرون آوردن از مصر، در بیابان داوری و محکوم کردم. | 35 |
and I will bring you to a [that is surrounded] by [other] nations. There, while I am looking at you, I will judge you.
| 36 |
I will punish you, like I punished your ancestors in the desert near Egypt.
| شما را به دقت خواهم شمرد تا فقط عده کمی از شما بازگردند، | 37 |
I will count you [MTY] as you walk by, and I will force you to obey the agreement that I made with you.
| و بقیه را که سرکش بوده، به من گناه می‌کنند، از میان شما جدا خواهم نمود. ایشان را از سرزمینهایی که به آنجا تبعید شده‌اند بیرون خواهم آورد، ولی نخواهم گذاشت وارد سرزمین اسرائیل گردند. وقتی اینها اتفاق افتاد، خواهید دانست که من یهوه هستم. | 38 |
I will get rid of those people among you who rebel [DOU] against me. Although I will bring them out [Babylonia], where they are now living, they will not enter Israel. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].
| «اما اگر اصرار دارید که به بت‌پرستی خود ادامه دهید، من مانع شما نمی‌شوم! ولی بدانید که پس از آن، مرا اطاعت خواهید نمود و دیگر نام مقدّس مرا با تقدیم هدایا و قربانی به بتها، بی‌حرمت نخواهید ساخت. | 39 |
As for you Israeli people [MTY], this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: 'Go and worship your idols now [IRO], each of you. But [afterwards], you will [surely] heed me and no longer dishonor me [MTY] by taking gifts to your idols.
| زیرا در اورشلیم، روی کوه مقدّس من، همه اسرائیلی‌ها مرا پرستش خواهند نمود. در آنجا از شما خشنود خواهم شد و قربانیها و بهترین هدایا و نذرهای مقدّس شما را خواهم پذیرفت. | 40 |
[I], Yahweh your Lord, declare that there on my sacred hill, [Zion], that high hill in Israel, you will bring gifts to me, and I will accept them. I will require you to bring to me gifts and offerings there, and your sacrifices that are dedicated to me.
| وقتی شما را از تبعید بازگردانم، برایم همچون هدایای خوشبو خواهید بود و قومها خواهند دید که در دل و رفتار شما چه تغییر بزرگی ایجاد شده است. | 41 |
When I bring you out from the [other] nations [DOU] to which you have been scattered, I will accept [as though you were] fragrant incense. By doing that, I will show the people of other nations that I have set you apart to belong to me.
| زمانی که شما را به وطن خودتان بازگردانم، یعنی به سرزمینی که وعده آن را به پدرانتان دادم، خواهید دانست که من خداوند هستم. | 42 |
Then, when I bring you into the land of Israel, the land that I solemnly promised with my hand lifted up that I would give to your ancestors, you will know that I, Yahweh, [have done it].
| آنگاه تمام گناهان گذشتهٔ خود را به یاد آورده، به سبب همهٔ کارهای زشتی که کرده‌اید، از خود متنفر خواهید شد. | 43 |
And [in Israel] you will remember how you conducted your lives [previously, you will remember] the actions that caused you to become unacceptable to me, and you will hate/despise yourselves for all the evil things that you have done.
| ای قوم اسرائیل، وقتی با وجود تمام بدیها و شرارتهایتان، به خاطر حرمت نام خود، شما را برکت دهم، آنگاه خواهید دانست که من یهوه هستم.» | 44 |
When I act toward you Israeli people to protect my reputation, and not [just] because of your evil deeds and corrupt behavior, you Israeli people will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].' That is what Yahweh the Lord declares.”
| سپس این پیغام از جانب خداوند به من رسید: | 45 |
Yahweh gave me another message. He said,
| «ای پسر انسان، به سوی اورشلیم نگاه کن و کلام مرا بر ضد آن، و بر ضد دشتهای پوشیده از جنگل جنوب، اعلام نما. | 46 |
“You human, turn toward the south. Preach about what will happen to that dry land, to the forest there.
| درباره آن نبوّت نما و بگو که ای جنگل انبوه، به کلام خداوند گوش بده! خداوند می‌فرماید: من در تو آتشی می‌افروزم که تمام درختان سبز و خشک تو را بسوزاند. شعله‌های مهیب آن خاموش نخواهد شد و همه مردم حرارت آن را احساس خواهند کرد. | 47 |
Say to the forest in the [part of Israel]: 'Listen to this message that Yahweh the Lord is saying [about you]: “I am about to start a fire in your midst, and it will burn up all your trees, [both] the green trees and the withered/dry trees. Nothing will extinguish the blazing flames. And the fire will scorch the faces of everyone [who lives] in that area, from the south to the north.
| آنگاه همه خواهند دانست که من، خداوند، آن را افروخته‌ام و خاموش نخواهد شد.» | 48 |
Everyone will see that it is I, Yahweh, who have lit this fire, and no one will [be able to] put it out.” '”
| گفتم: «ای خداوند یهوه، آنها به من می‌گویند که چرا با معما با ایشان سخن می‌گویم!» | 49 |
Then I said, “Yahweh, my Lord, [when I tell things like this to people, they do not believe me]. They say about me, ‘He is only telling parables.’”
