خروج 31

1 سپس خداوند به موسی فرمود:

And the Lord spak to Moyses, `and seide, Lo!

2 «من بِصَلئیل را که پسر اوری و نوهٔ حور از قبیلهٔ یهودا است انتخاب کرده‌ام

Y haue clepid Beseleel bi name, the sone of Hury, sone of Hur, of the lynage of Juda;

3 و او را از روح خود پر ساخته‌ام و به او حکمت، فهم، دانش و تجربه در همه زمینه‌ها بخشیده‌ام.

and Y haue fillid hym with the spirit of God, with wisdom, and vndirstondyng, and kunnyng in al werk,

4 او در ساختن ظروف طلا و نقره و مفرغ،

to fynde out what euer thing may be maad suteli, of gold, and siluer, and bras, and marbil,

5 همچنین در کار خراطی و جواهر سازی و هر صنعتی استاد است.

and gemmes, and dyuersite of trees.

6 «در ضمن اهولیاب، پسر اخیسامک از قبیلهٔ دان را نیز انتخاب کرده‌ام تا دستیار او باشد. علاوه بر این به تمام صنعتگرانی که با او کار می‌کنند، مهارت مخصوصی بخشیده‌ام تا بتوانند همهٔ آن چیزهایی را که به تو دستور داده‌ام بسازند

And Y haue youe to hym a felowe, Ooliab, the sone of Achisameth, of the kynrede of Dan; and Y haue put in `the herte of hem the wisdom of ech lerned man, that thei make alle thingis, whiche Y comaundide to thee;

7 خیمهٔ ملاقات، صندوق عهد با تخت رحمت که بر آن است، تمام ابزار و وسایل خیمهٔ عبادت،

the tabernacle of boond of pees, and the arke of witnessyng, and the propiciatorie, ether table, which is theronne, and alle the vessels of the tabernacle;

8 میز و ظروف آن، چراغدان طلای خالص و لوازم آن، مذبح بخور،

also the bord, and vessels therof, the clenneste candilstike with hise vessels, and the auteris of encence,

9 مذبح قربانی سوختنی با لوازم آن، حوض و پایه‌اش،

and of brent sacrifice, and alle the vessels of hem; the greet `waischyng vessel with his foundement;

10 لباسهای مخصوص هارون کاهن و پسرانش برای خدمت در مقام کاهنی،

hooli clothis in seruyce to Aaron prest, and to hise sones, that thei be set in her office in hooli thingis;

11 روغن مسح و بخور معطر برای قدس. همهٔ اینها را باید درست مطابق آنچه به تو دستور داده‌ام بسازند.»

the oile of anoyntyng, and encence of swete smellynge spiceryes in the seyntuarie; thei schulen make alle thingis whiche Y comaundide to thee.

12 سپس خداوند به موسی فرمود

And the Lord spak to Moises, `and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,

13 «به بنی‌اسرائیل بگو:”روز شَبّات را که برای شما تعیین کرده‌ام نگاه دارید، زیرا این روز نشانی بین من و شما و تمام نسلهای شما خواهد بود تا بدانید من که خداوند هستم، شما را برای خود جدا ساخته‌ام.

and thou schalt seie to hem, Se ye that ye kepe my sabat, for it is a signe bytwixe me and you in youre generaciouns; that ye wite, that Y am the Lord, which halewe you.

14 پس روز شَبّات را نگاه دارید، چون برای شما روز مقدّسی است. هر که احترام آن را بجا نیاورد، باید کشته شود؛ هر که در آن روز کار کند باید از میان قوم خود منقطع شود.

Kepe ye my sabat, for it is hooli to you; he that defoulith it, schal die bi deeth, the soule of hym, that doith werk in the sabat, schal perische fro the myddis of his puple.

15 در هفته فقط شش روز کار کنید و روز هفتم که روز مقدّس خداوند است استراحت نمایید. هر کسی در این روز کار کند کشته خواهد شد.

Sixe daies ye schulen do werk; in the seuenthe dai is sabat, hooli reste to the Lord; ech man that doith werk in this dai schal die.

16 این قانون، عهدی جاودانی است و رعایت آن برای بنی‌اسرائیل نسل اندر نسل واجب است.

The sones of Israel kepe sabat, and halewe it in her generaciouns;

17 این نشانهٔ همیشگی آن عهدی است که من با بنی‌اسرائیل بسته‌ام، چون من در شش روز آسمان و زمین را آفریدم و در روز هفتم استراحت کردم.“»

it is a couenaunt euerlastinge bitwixe me and the sones of Israel, and it is `a signe euerlastynge; for in sixe daies God made heuene and erthe, and in the seuenthe day he ceessid of werk.

18 وقتی خدا در کوه سینا گفتگوی خود را با موسی به پایان رسانید، آن دو لوح سنگی را که با انگشت خود ده فرمان را روی آنها نوشته بود، به موسی داد.

And whanne siche wordis weren fillid, the Lord yaf to Moises, in the hil of Synay, twei stonun tablis of witnessyng, writun with the fyngur of God.
