خروج 28

1 «برادر خود هارون و پسرانش ناداب، ابیهو، العازار و ایتامار را از سایر مردم اسرائیل جدا کرده، به مقام کاهنی تعیین کن تا مرا خدمت کنند.

And do you take to yourself both Aaron your brother, and his sons, even [them] of the children of Israel; so that Aaron, and Nadab and Abiud, and Eleazar and Ithamar, sons of Aaron, may minister to me.

2 لباسهای مخصوصی برای هارون تهیه کن تا معلوم باشد که او برای خدمت من جدا شده است. لباسهای او زیبا و برازندهٔ کار مقدّس او باشد.

And you shall make holy apparel for Aaron your brother, for honor and glory.

3 به کسانی که استعداد و مهارت دوزندگی داده‌ام دستور بده لباسهای هارون را تهیه کنند لباسهایی که با لباسهای سایر مردم فرق داشته باشد و معلوم شود که او در مقام کاهنی به من خدمت می‌کند.

And speak you to all those who are wise in understanding, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom and perception; and they shall make the holy apparel of Aaron for the sanctuary, in which [apparel] he shall minister to me as priest.

4 لباسهایی که باید دوخته شوند اینها هستند: سینه‌پوش، ایفود، ردا، پیراهن نقشدار، دستار و شال کمر. برای برادرت هارون و پسرانش هم باید از همین لباسها دوخت تا بتوانند در مقام کاهنی به من خدمت کنند.

And these are the garments which they shall make: the breast-plate, and the shoulder-piece, and the full-length robe, and the tunic with a fringe, and the tire, and the girdle; and they shall make holy garments for Aaron and his sons to minister to me as priests.

5 پس طلا و نخهای آبی، ارغوانی و قرمز، و نیز کتان ریزبافت به آنها بده.

And they shall take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.

6 «صنعتگران باید ایفود را از کتان ریزبافت تابیده تهیه کرده، آن را ماهرانه با طلا، نخهای آبی، ارغوانی و قرمز گلدوزی کنند.

And they shall make the shoulder-piece of fine linen spun, the woven work of the embroiderer.

7 «این جلیقهٔ بلند از دو قسمت، جلو و پشت، که روی شانه‌ها با دو بند به هم می‌پیوندند، تشکیل شود.

It shall have two shoulder-pieces joined together, fastened on the two sides.

8 بند کمر ایفود هم باید متصل به آن و از جنس خودش باشد، یعنی از رشته‌های طلا و کتان تابیده ریز‌بافت و نخهای آبی، ارغوانی و قرمز.

And the woven work of the shoulder-pieces which is upon it, shall be of one piece according to the work, of pure gold and blue and purple, and spun scarlet and fine twined linen.

9 «دو سنگ جزع تهیه کن و نامهای دوازده قبیلهٔ بنی‌اسرائیل را روی آنها حک کن.

And you shall take the two stones, the stones of emerald, and you shall grave on them the names of the children of Israel.

10 یعنی روی هر سنگ شش نام به ترتیب سن آنها.

Six names on the first stone, and the other six names on the second stone, according to their births.

11 مثل یک خاتم‌کار و حکاک ماهر نامها را روی سنگها حک کن و آنها را در قابهای طلا بگذار.

[It shall be] the work of the stone-engraver's are; as the graving of a seal you shall engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel.

12 سپس آنها را روی شانه‌های ایفود نصب کن تا بدین ترتیب هارون نامهای قبایل بنی‌اسرائیل را به حضور من بیاورد و من به یاد آنها باشم.

And you shall put the two stones on the shoulders of the shoulder-piece: they are memorial-stones for the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel before the Lord on his two shoulders, a memorial for them.

13 همچنین قابهای طلایی بساز

And you shall make circlets of pure gold;

14 و دو زنجیر تابیده از طلای خالص درست کن و آنها را به قابهای طلایی که روی شانه‌های ایفود است وصل کن.

and you shall make two fringes of pure gold, variegated with flowers wreathen work; and you shall put the wreathen fringes on the circlets, fastening them on their shoulder-pieces in front.

15 «برای کاهن یک سینه‌پوش جهت پی بردن به خواست خداوند درست کن. آن را مانند ایفود از کتان ریز‌بافت تابیده، نخهای آبی، ارغوانی و قرمز و رشته‌های طلا بساز و روی آن را با دقت گلدوزی کن.

And you shall make the oracle of judgment, the work of the embroiderer: in keeping with the ephod, you shall make it of gold, and blue and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen spun.

16 این سینه‌پوش باید دولا و مثل یک کیسه چهارگوش به ضلع یک وجب باشد.

You shall make it square: it shall be double; of a span the length of it, and of a span the breadth.

17 چهار ردیف سنگ قیمتی روی آن نصب کن. ردیف اول عقیق سرخ، یاقوت زرد و یاقوت آتشی باشد.

And you shall interweave with it a texture of four rows of stone; there shall be a row of stones, a sardius, a topaz, and emerald, the first row.

18 ردیف دوم زمرد، یاقوت کبود و الماس.

And the second row, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a jasper.

19 ردیف سوم فیروزه، عقیق یمانی و یاقوت بنفش.

And the third row, a ligure, an agate, an amethyst:

20 ردیف چهارم زبرجد، جزع و یشم. همهٔ آنها باید قابهای طلا داشته باشند.

and the fourth row, a chrysolite, and a beryl, and an onyx stone, set round with gold, bound together with gold: let them be according to their row.

21 هر یک از این سنگها علامت یکی از دوازده قبیلهٔ بنی‌اسرائیل خواهد بود و نام آن قبیله روی آن سنگ حک خواهد شد.

And let the stones of the names of the children of Israel be twelve according to their names, engravings as of seals: let them be for the twelve tribes each according to the name.

22 «برای وصل کردن سینه‌پوش به ایفود، زنجیرهایی تابیده از طلای خالص درست کن.

And you shall make on the oracle woven fringes, a chain-work of pure gold.

23 سپس دو حلقۀ طلایی بساز و آنها را بر دو گوشۀ سینه‌پوش بگذار.

And Aaron shall take the names of the children of Israel, on the oracle of judgment on his breast; a memorial before God for him as he goes into the sanctuary.

24 دو زنجیر را در حلقه‌های دو گوشۀ سینه‌پوش بگذار،

And you shall put the fringes on the oracle of judgment; you shall put the wreaths on both sides of the oracle,

25 و دو سر دیگر زنجیرها را از جلو به قابهای طلای روی شانه‌ها وصل کن.

and you shall put the two circlets on both the shoulders of the ephod in front.

26 دو حلقهٔ طلای دیگر نیز درست کن و آنها را به دو گوشهٔ پایینی سینه‌پوش، روی لایهٔ زیرین، ببند.

And you shall put the Manifestation and the Truth on the oracle of judgment; and it shall be on the breast of Aaron, when he goes into the holy place before the Lord; and Aaron shall bear the judgments of the children of Israel on his breast before the Lord continually.

27 دو حلقهٔ طلای دیگر هم درست کن و آنها را در قسمت جلوی ایفود و کمی بالاتر از بند کمر نصب کن.

And you shall make the full-length tunic all of blue.

28 بعد حلقه‌های سینه‌پوش را با نوار آبی رنگ به حلقه‌های ایفود که بالاتر از بند کمر قرار دارد ببند تا سینه‌پوش از ایفود جدا نشود.

And the opening of it shall be in the middle having a fringe round about the opening, the work of the weaver, woven together in the joining of the same piece that it might not be tore.

29 «به این ترتیب وقتی هارون به قدس وارد می‌شود، نامهای تمام قبایل بنی‌اسرائیل را که روی سینه‌پوش کنده شده، با خود حمل خواهد کرد تا به این وسیله قوم همیشه در نظر خداوند باشند.

And under the fringe of the robe below you shall make as it were pomegranates of a flowering pomegranate tree, of blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen spun, under the fringe of the robe round about: golden pomegranates of the same shape, and bells round about between these.

30 اوریم و تُمّیم را داخل سینه‌پوش بگذار تا وقتی هارون به حضور من می‌آید آنها همیشه روی قلب او باشند و او بتواند خواست مرا در مورد قوم اسرائیل دریابد.

A bell by the side of a golden pomegranate, and flower-work on the fringe of the robe round about.

31 «ردایی که زیر ایفود است باید از پارچهٔ آبی باشد.

And the sound of Aaron shall be audible when he ministers, as he goes into the sanctuary before the Lord, and has he goes out, that he die not.

32 شکافی برای سر، در آن باشد. حاشیهٔ این شکاف باید با دست بافته شود تا پاره نگردد.

And you shall make a plate [of] pure gold, and you shall grave on it [as] the graving of a signet, Holiness of the Lord.

33 با نخهای آبی، ارغوانی و قرمز، منگوله‌هایی به شکل انار درست کن و دور تا دور لبهٔ دامن ردا بیاویز و زنگوله‌هایی از طلا بین آنها قرار بده.

And you shall put it on the spun blue cloth, and it shall be on the mitre: it shall be in the front of the mitre.

34 زنگوله‌های طلا و انارها باید یکی در میان، دور تا دور لبۀ دامن ردا باشند.

And it shall be on the forehead of Aaron; and Aaron shall bear away the sins of their holy things, all that the children of Israel shall sanctify of every gift of their holy things, and it shall be on the forehead of Aaron continually acceptable for them before the Lord.

35 هارون در موقع خدمت خداوند باید ردا را بپوشد تا وقتی که به حضور من به قدس وارد می‌شود یا از آن بیرون می‌رود، صدای زنگوله‌ها شنیده شود، مبادا بمیرد.

And the fringes of the garments [shall be] of fine linen; and you shall make a tire of fine linen, and you shall make a girdle, the work of the embroiderer.

36 «یک نیم تاج از طلای خالص بساز و این کلمات را مانند مُهر، روی آن حک کن:”مقدّس برای خداوند“.

And for the sons of Aaron you shall make tunics and girdles, and you shall make for them tires for honor and glory.

37 این نیم تاج را با یک نوار آبی رنگ به دستارِ هارون ببند به‌طوری که در جلوی دستار قرار گیرد.

And you shall put them on Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, and you shall anoint them and fill their hands: and you shall sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest's office.

38 این نیم تاج باید بر پیشانی هارون باشد تا او بار هر خطایی را که ممکن است بنی‌اسرائیل در حین تقدیم قربانیهای مقدّس انجام دهند، بر خود حمل کند. هارون باید همیشه این نیم تاج را روی پیشانی خود داشته باشد تا آن قربانیها مقبول خداوند واقع شوند.

And you shall make for them linen drawers to cover the nakedness of their flesh; they shall reach from the loins to the thighs.

39 «پیراهن هارون را از کتان ریزبافت بباف؛ همچنین دستار را. شال کمر گلدوزی شده نیز برای او درست کن.

And Aaron shall have them, and his sons, whenever they enter into the tabernacle of witness, or when they shall advance to the altar of the sanctuary to minister, so they shall not bring sin upon themselves, lest they die: [it is] a perpetual statute for him, and for his seed after him.

40 «برای پسران هارون نیز پیراهن، شال کمر و کلاه تهیه کن. این لباسها باید زیبا و برازنده کار مقدّس ایشان باشند.

41 این لباسها را به هارون و پسرانش بپوشان. با روغن زیتون آنها را مسح کن و ایشان را برای خدمت کاهنی تعیین و تقدیس نما.

42 برای پوشاندن برهنگی لگن تا ران ایشان، لباس زیر از جنس کتان بدوز که اندازهٔ آن از کمر تا بالای زانو باشد.

43 هارون و پسرانش، وقتی به خیمۀ ملاقات داخل می‌شوند، یا نزدیک مذبح می‌آیند تا در قدس خدمت کنند، باید این لباسها را بپوشند، مبادا متحمل گناه شده، بمیرند. این آیین برای هارون و نسل او یک قانون جاودانی خواهد بود.
