دوم تواریخ 18

1 یهوشافاط ثروت و شهرت زیادی کسب کرد و با اَخاب، پادشاه اسرائیل وصلت نمود و دختر او را به عقد پسرش درآورد.

And it belonged to Jehoshaphat wealth and honor to abundance and he became son-in-law to Ahab.

2 چند سال بعد، یهوشافاط پادشاه یهودا برای دیدن اَخاب پادشاه اسرائیل به سامره رفت و اَخاب برای او و همراهانش مهمانی بزرگی ترتیب داد و تعداد زیادی گاو و گوسفند سر برید. در آن مهمانی اَخاب از یهوشافاط پادشاه خواست در حمله به راموت جلعاد به او کمک کند. یهوشافاط گفت: «هر چه دارم مال توست، قوم من قوم توست. من و قومم در این جنگ همراه تو خواهیم بود.

And he went down to [the] end of years to Ahab to Samaria and he slaughtered for him Ahab sheep and cattle to abundance and for the people which [was] with him and he incited him to go up against Ramoth Gilead.

And he said Ahab [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah ¿ will you go with me Ramoth Gilead and he said to him as me as you and [will be] as people your people my and with you in the battle.

4 ولی خواهش می‌کنم اول با خداوند مشورت کنی.»

And he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel seek please as the day [the] word of Yahweh.

5 پس اَخاب پادشاه، چهارصد نفر از انبیای خود را احضار کرد و از ایشان پرسید: «آیا برای تسخیر راموت جلعاد بروم یا نه؟» همهٔ آنها یکصدا گفتند: «برو، چون خدا به تو پیروزی خواهد بخشید.»

And he assembled [the] king of Israel the prophets four hundred man and he said to them ¿ will we go against Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will I desist and they said go up so he may give [it] God in [the] hand of the king.

6 آنگاه یهوشافاط پرسید: «آیا غیر از اینها نبی دیگری در اینجا نیست تا نظر خداوند را به ما بگوید؟»

And he said Jehoshaphat ¿ [is] there not here a prophet of Yahweh still so we may enquire from him.

7 اَخاب جواب داد: «چرا، یک نفر به اسم میکایا پسر یمله هست، که توسط او می‌توان از خدا مسئلت کرد، اما من از او نفرت دارم، چون همیشه برای من چیزهای بد پیشگویی می‌کند.» یهوشافاط گفت: «اینطور سخن نگویید!»

And he said [the] king of Israel - to Jehoshaphat still a man one to consult Yahweh from him and I I hate him for not he [is] prophesying on me good for all days his evil he [is] Micaiah [the] son of Imlah and he said Jehoshaphat may not he say the king thus.

8 پس اَخاب پادشاه، یکی از افراد دربار خود را صدا زد و به او گفت: «برو و میکایا را هر چه زودتر به اینجا بیاور.»

And he called [the] king of Israel to a court-official one and he said bring quickly (Micaiah *Q(K)*) [the] son of Imlah.

9 هر دو پادشاه در میدان خرمنگاه نزدیک دروازهٔ شهر سامره با لباسهای شاهانه بر تختهای سلطنتی خود نشسته بودند و تمام انبیا در حضور ایشان پیشگویی می‌کردند.

And [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah [were] sitting each on throne his clothed garments and sitting at [the] threshing floor [the] entrance of [the] gate of Samaria and all the prophets [were] prophesying before them.

10 یکی از این انبیا به نام صدقیا، پسر کنعنه، که شاخهای آهنی برای خود درست کرده بود، گفت: «خداوند می‌فرماید که با این شاخها، سوری‌ها را تار و مار خواهی کرد!»

And he had made for himself Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah horns of iron and he said thus he says Yahweh with these you will gore Aram until destroy them.

11 سایر انبیا نیز با او همصدا شده، گفتند: «به راموت جلعاد حمله کن، چون خداوند تو را پیروز خواهد کرد.»

And all the prophets [were] prophesying thus saying go up Ramoth Gilead and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.

12 قاصدی که به دنبال میکایا رفته بود، به او گفت: «تمام انبیا پیشگویی می‌کنند که پادشاه پیروز خواهد شد، پس تو نیز چنین پیشگویی کن.»

And the messenger who he had gone - to summon Micaiah he spoke to him saying here! [the] words of the prophets a mouth one [is] good concerning the king and let it be please word your like one from them and you will speak good.

13 ولی میکایا به او گفت: «به خداوند زنده قسم، هر چه خدای من بفرماید، همان را خواهم گفت.»

And he said Micaiah [by] [the] life of Yahweh that [that] which he will say God my it I will speak.

14 وقتی میکایا به حضور پادشاه رسید، اَخاب از او پرسید: «ای میکایا، آیا به راموت جلعاد حمله کنم یا نه؟» میکایا جواب داد: «البته! چرا حمله نکنی! حتماً پیروز خواهی شد!»

And he came to the king and he said the king to him O Micah ¿ will we go against Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will I desist and he said go up and succeed so they may be given in hand your.

15 پادشاه به او گفت: «چند مرتبه تو را قسم بدهم که هر چه خداوند می‌گوید، همان را به من بگویی؟»

And he said to him the king until how many? times [will] I make swear you that not you will speak to me only truth in [the] name of Yahweh.

16 آنگاه میکایا به او گفت: «تمام قوم اسرائیل را دیدم که مثل گوسفندان بی‌شبان، روی تپه‌ها سرگردانند. خداوند فرمود: اینها صاحب ندارند. به ایشان بگو به خانه‌های خود برگردند.»

And he said I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains like flock which not [belongs] to them a shepherd and he said Yahweh not masters [belong] to these let them return each to own house his in peace.

17 اَخاب به یهوشافاط گفت: «به تو نگفتم؟ من هرگز حرف خوب از زبان این مرد نشنیده‌ام!»

And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat ¿ not did I say to you not he prophesies on me good that except evil.

18 بعد میکایا گفت: «به این پیغام خداوند نیز گوش دهید! خداوند را دیدم که بر تخت خود نشسته بود و فرشتگان در طرف راست و چپ او ایستاده بودند.

And he said therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh I saw Yahweh sitting on throne his and all [the] host of the heavens [were] standing on right [hand] his and left [hand] his.

19 آنگاه خداوند فرمود: چه کسی می‌تواند اَخاب را فریب دهد تا به راموت جلعاد حمله کند و همان جا کشته شود؟ هر یک از فرشتگان نظری داد.

And he said Yahweh who? will he deceive Ahab [the] king of Israel so he may go up and he may fall at Ramoth Gilead and he said this one [was] saying thus and this one [was] saying thus.

20 سرانجام روحی جلو آمد و به خداوند گفت: من این کار را می‌کنم! خداوند پرسید: چگونه؟

And it came forth the spirit and it stood before Yahweh and it said I I will deceive him and he said Yahweh to it how?

21 روح گفت: من سخنان دروغ در دهان انبیا می‌گذارم و اَخاب را گمراه می‌کنم. خداوند فرمود: تو می‌توانی او را فریب دهی، پس برو و چنین کن!»

And it said I will go out and I will become a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets his and he said you will deceive and also you will prevail go out and do thus.

22 آنگاه میکایای نبی گفت: «خداوند روح گمراه کننده در دهان انبیای تو گذاشته تا به تو دروغ بگویند. ولی حقیقت امر این است که خداوند می‌خواهد تو را گرفتار مصیبت سازد.»

And now here! he has put Yahweh a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of prophets your these and Yahweh he has spoken on you calamity.

23 با شنیدن این جمله، صدقیا پسر کنعنه، جلو رفت و یک سیلی محکم به صورت میکایا زد و گفت: «روح خداوند کی مرا ترک کرده و به سوی تو آمده و با تو سخن گفته است؟»

And he drew near Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah and he struck Micaiah on the cheek and he said where? this [is] the way [which] it passed [the] spirit of Yahweh from with me to speak with you.

24 میکایا به او گفت: «آن روز که در اتاقت مخفی شوی، جواب این سؤال را خواهی یافت!»

And he said Micaiah here you [will be] seeing on the day that when you will go a room in a room to hide yourself.

25 آنگاه اَخاب پادشاه دستور داد: «میکایا را بگیرید و پیش آمون، فرماندار شهر و به نزد یوآش، پسرم ببرید.

And he said [the] king of Israel take Micaiah and return him to Amon [the] official of the city and to Joash [the] son of the king.

26 و از قول من به ایشان بگویید که میکایا را به زندان بیفکنند و جز آب و نان چیزی به او ندهند تا من پیروز برگردم.»

And you will say thus he says the king put this one [the] house of imprisonment and feed him bread oppression and water oppression until return I in safety.

27 میکایا به او گفت: «اگر تو زنده برگشتی، معلوم می‌شود من هر چه به تو گفتم، از جانب خداوند نبوده است.» سپس رو به حاضران کرد و گفت: «همهٔ شما شاهد باشید که من به پادشاه چه گفتم!»

And he said Micaiah certainly [if] you will return in safety not he has spoken Yahweh by me and he said listen O peoples all of them.

28 با وجود این هشدارها، اَخاب پادشاه اسرائیل و یهوشافاط پادشاه یهودا به راموت جلعاد لشکرکشی کردند.

And he went up [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah against Ramoth Gilead.

29 اَخاب به یهوشافاط گفت: «تو لباس شاهانهٔ خود را بپوش، ولی من لباس دیگری می‌پوشم تا کسی مرا نشناسد.» پس اَخاب با لباس مبدل به میدان جنگ رفت.

And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat I will disguise myself and I will go in battle and you wear own clothes your and he disguised himself [the] king of Israel and they went in battle.

30 پادشاه سوریه به سرداران ارابه‌هایش دستور داده بود که به دیگران زیاد توجه نکنند، بلکه فقط با خود اَخاب بجنگند.

And [the] king of Aram he had commanded [the] commanders of the chariotry which [belonged] to him saying not you must do battle with the small with the great that except with [the] king of Israel to only him.

31 به محض اینکه سرداران ارابه‌ها یهوشافاط را دیدند گفتند: «این پادشاه اسرائیل است.» پس رفتند تا با او بجنگند، اما یهوشافاط فریاد برآورد و خداوند به او کمک کرد و آنها را از او دور ساخت،

And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry Jehoshaphat and they they said [is] [the] king of Israel he and they surrounded him to fight and he cried out Jehoshaphat and Yahweh he helped him and he lured them God away from him.

32 زیرا به محض اینکه سرداران ارابه‌ها متوجه شدند که او پادشاه اسرائیل نیست، از تعقیب وی دست برداشتند.

And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry that not it was [the] king of Israel and they turned back from after him.

33 اما تیر یکی از سربازان به طور تصادفی از میان شکاف زرهٔ اَخاب، به او اصابت کرد. اَخاب به ارابه‌ران خود گفت: «ارابه را برگردان و مرا از میدان جنگ بیرون ببر، چون سخت مجروح شده‌ام.»

And someone he drew on the bow to innocence his and he struck [the] king of Israel between the joints and between the body armor and he said to the charioteer turn around (hand your *Q(K)*) and you will take out me from the camp for I have been wounded.

34 جنگ به اوج شدت خود رسیده بود و اَخاب نیمه جان به کمک ارابه‌ران خود، رو به سوری‌ها در ارابهٔ خود ایستاده بود. سرانجام هنگام غروب جان سپرد.

And it went up the battle on the day that and [the] king of Israel he was [was] holding upright in the chariot opposite to Aram until the evening and he died to [the] time of [the] going of the sun.
