اول تواریخ 27

1 سپاه اسرائیل از افراد و رؤسای خاندانها و طایفه‌ها و بزرگان تشکیل یافته بود و شامل دوازده سپاه می‌شد. هر سپاه که متشکل از ۲۴٬۰۰۰ نفر بود، به نوبت، سالی یک ماه به خدمت فرا خوانده می‌شد. فرماندهان این سپاهیان، به ترتیب ماه خدمت، عبارت بودند از:

And the sons of Israel, after their number, heads of the fathers, and princes of the thousands and of the hundreds, and their officers, those serving the king in any matter of the divisions, that are coming in and going out month by month throughout all months of the year, [are] twenty-four thousand in each division.

2 ماه اول: یشبعام، پسر زبدی‌ئیل، از طایفهٔ فارص؛

Over the first division for the first month [is] Jashobeam son of Zabdiel, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division;

[he was] of the sons of Perez, [and] the head of all princes of the hosts for the first month.

4 ماه دوم: دودای اخوخی (معاون او مقلوت نام داشت)؛

And over the division of the second month [is] Dodai the Ahohite, and Mikloth [is] also president of his division, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

5 ماه سوم: بنایا، پسر یهویاداع کاهن اعظم (بنایا همان کسی است که فرماندهٔ سی سردار داوود بود؛ پسرش عمیزاباد از فرماندهان سپاه او بود)؛

Head of the third host, for the third month, [is] Benaiah son of Jehoiada, the head priest, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

This Benaiah [is] a mighty one of the thirty, and over the thirty, and his son Ammizabad [is in] his division.

7 ماه چهارم: عسائیل، برادر یوآب (بعد از او پسرش زبدیا جای او را گرفت)؛

The fourth, for the fourth month, [is] Asahel brother of Joab, and his son Zebadiah after him, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

8 ماه پنجم: شمهوت یزراحی؛

The fifth, for the fifth month, [is] the prince Shamhuth the Izrahite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

9 ماه ششم: عیرا، پسر عقیش تقوعی؛

The sixth, for the sixth month, [is] Ira son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

10 ماه هفتم: حالص فلونی از قبیلهٔ افرایم؛

The seventh, for the seventh month, [is] Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

11 ماه هشتم: سبکای حوشاتی از طایفۀ زارح؛

The eighth, for the eighth month, [is] Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

12 ماه نهم: ابیعزر عناتوتی از قبیلهٔ بنیامین؛

The ninth, for the ninth month, [is] Abiezer the Antothite, of the Benjamite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

13 ماه دهم: مهرای نطوفاتی از طایفۀ زارح؛

The tenth, for the tenth month, [is] Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

14 ماه یازدهم: بنایا فرعاتونی از قبیلهٔ افرایم؛

Eleventh, for the eleventh month, [is] Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

15 ماه دوازدهم: خلدای نطوفاتی از نسل عتنی‌ئیل.

The twelfth, for the twelfth month, [is] Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

16 رؤسای قبیله‌های اسرائیل به شرح زیر بودند: العازار پسر زکری، رئیس قبیلهٔ رئوبین؛ شفطیا پسر معکه، رئیس قبیلهٔ شمعون؛ حشبیا پسر قموئیل، رئیس قبیلهٔ لاوی؛ صادوق، رئیس خاندان هارون؛ الیهو برادر داوود پادشاه، رئیس قبیلهٔ یهودا؛ عمری پسر میکائیل، رئیس قبیلهٔ یساکار؛ یشمعیا پسر عوبدیا، رئیس قبیلهٔ زبولون؛ یریموت پسر عزری‌ئیل، رئیس قبیلهٔ نفتالی؛ هوشع پسر عزریا، رئیس قبیلهٔ افرایم؛ یوئیل پسر فدایا، رئیس نصف قبیلهٔ منسی؛ یدو پسر زکریا، رئیس نصف دیگر قبیلهٔ منسی در جلعاد؛ یعسی‌ئیل پسر ابنیر، رئیس قبیله بنیامین؛ عزرئیل پسر یروحام، رئیس قبیلهٔ دان.

And over the tribes of Israel: the leader of the Reubenite [is] Eliezer son of Zichri; of the Simeonite, Shephatiah son of Maachah;

of the Levite, Hashabiah son of Kemuel; of the Aaronite, Zadok;

18

of Judah, Elihu, of the brothers of David; of Issachar, Omri son of Michael;

19

of Zebulun, Ishmaiah son of Obadiah; of Naphtali, Jerimoth son of Azriel;

20

of the sons of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Azaziah; of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, Joel son of Pedaiah;

21

of the half of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo son of Zechariah; of Benjamin, Jaasiel son of Abner; of Dan, Azareel son of Jeroham.

These [are the] heads of the tribes of Israel.

23 داوود هنگام سرشماری، جوانان بیست سال یا کمتر را به حساب نیاورد، زیرا خداوند وعده داده بود که جمعیت اسرائیل را مثل ستارگان آسمان بی‌شمار گرداند.

But David has not taken up their number from a son of twenty years and under, for YHWH had said [He would] multiply Israel as the stars of the heavens.

24 یوآب سرشماری را شروع کرد ولی آن را تمام نکرد، چون خشم خداوند بر اسرائیل افروخته شد. لذا آمار نهایی در سالنامهٔ داوود پادشاه ثبت نشد.

Joab son of Zeruiah has begun to number, but has not finished; and there is wrath against Israel for this, and the number has not gone up in the account of the Chronicles of King David.

25 عزموت پسر عدی‌ئیل سرپرست انبارهای سلطنتی و یوناتان پسر عزیا سرپرست انبارهای شهرها و روستاها و قلعه‌ها بود.

And Azmaveth son of Adiel [is] over the treasures of the king; and Jonathan son of Uzziah [is] over the treasures in the field, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers;

26 عزری پسر کلوب، سرپرست کارگرانی بود که در املاک پادشاه کار می‌کردند.

and Ezri son of Chelub [is] over workmen of the field for the service of the ground;

27 شمعی راماتی بر باغهای انگور پادشاه نظارت می‌کرد. زبدی شفماتی مسئول تهیهٔ شراب و انبار کردن آن بود.

and Shimei the Ramathite [is] over the vineyards; and Zabdi the Shiphmite [is] over what [is] in the vineyards for the treasures of wine;

28 بعل حانان جدیری مسئول باغهای زیتون و درختان افراغ در دشتهای هم مرز کشور فلسطین بود. یوآش متصدی ذخیرهٔ روغن زیتون بود.

and Ba‘al-Hanan the Gederite [is] over the olives and the sycamores that [are] in the low country; and Joash [is] over the treasures of oil;

29 شطرای شارونی در دشت شارون از رمه‌ها نگهداری می‌کرد، و شافاط پسر عدلائی مسئول نگهداری رمه‌هایی بود که در دره‌ها می‌چریدند.

and Shitrai the Sharonite [is] over the herds that are feeding in Sharon; and Shaphat son of Adlai [is] over the herds in the valleys;

30 عوبیل اسماعیلی بر کار نگهداری شترها و یحدیای میرونوتی بر کار نگهداری الاغها نظارت می‌کردند.

and Obil the Ishmaelite [is] over the camels; and Jehdeiah the Meronothite [is] over the donkeys;

31 یازیز مسئول نگهداری گله‌ها بود. تمام این مردان ناظران دارایی داوود پادشاه بودند.

and Jaziz the Hagerite [is] over the flock; all these [are] heads of the substance that King David has.

32 یوناتان عموی داوود مشاوری دانا و عالم بود و یحی‌ئیل، پسر حکمونی از پسران پادشاه مواظبت می‌کرد.

And Jonathan, David’s uncle, [is] counselor, a man of understanding, [and] he is also a scribe; and Jehiel son of Hachmoni [is] with the sons of the king;

33 اخیتوفل مشاور پادشاه و حوشای ارکی دوست پادشاه بود.

and Ahithophel [is] counselor to the king; and Hushai the Archite [is] the friend of the king;

34 پس از اخیتوفل، یهویاداع (پسر بنایا) و اَبیّاتار به جای او مشاور شدند. فرماندهٔ سپاه اسرائیل یوآب بود.

and after Ahithophel [is] Jehoiada son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and the head of the host of the king [is] Joab.
