اول تواریخ 2

1 پسران یعقوب معروف به اسرائیل اینها بودند: رئوبین، شمعون، لاوی، یهودا، یساکار، زبولون، دان، یوسف، بنیامین، نفتالی، جاد و اشیر.

These are the sonnes of Israel, Reuben, Simeon, Leui and Iudah, Isshachar, and Zebulun,

Dan, Ioseph, and Beniamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 یهودا از زن کنعانی خود، بتشوع، سه پسر داشت به نامهای: عیر، اونان و شیله. ولی عیر، پسر ارشد او، شرور بود و خداوند او را کشت.

The sonnes of Iudah, Er, and Onan, and Shelah. these three were borne to him of ye daughter of Shua the Canaanite: but Er the eldest sonne of Iudah was euil in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him.

4 بعد تامار، زن بیوهٔ عیر که عروس یهودا بود از خود یهودا حامله شد و دو پسر دوقلو به نامهای فارص و زارح زایید.

And Thamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez, and Zerah: so al the sonnes of Iudah were fiue.

5 پسران فارص: حصرون و حامول.

The sonnes of Pharez, Hezron and Hamul.

6 پسران زارح: زمری، ایتان، هیمان، کلکول و دارع.

The sonnes also of Zerah were Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara, which were fiue in all.

7 (عخان پسر کرمی، که با برداشتن مال حرام به خدا خیانت کرد و در قوم اسرائیل فاجعه به بار آورد نیز از نسل زارح بود.)

And the sonne of Carmi, Achar that troubled Israel, transgressing in the thing excommunicate.

8 عزریا پسر ایتان بود.

The sonne also of Ethan, Azariah.

9 یرحم‌ئیل، رام و کلوبای پسران حصرون بودند.

And the sonnes of Hezron that were borne vnto him, Ierahmeel, and Ram and Chelubai.

10 رام پدر عمیناداب، و عمیناداب پدر نحشون (نحشون رهبر قبیلهٔ یهودا بود)،

And Ram begate Aminadab, and Aminadab begate Nahshon prince of the children of Iudah,

11 نحشون پدر سلما، سلمون پدر بوعز،

And Nahshon begate Salma, and Salma begate Boaz,

12 بوعز پدر عوبید، و عوبید پدر یَسا بود.

And Boaz begate Obed, and Obed begate Ishai,

13 پسران یَسا به ترتیب سن اینها بودند: الیاب، ابیناداب، شمعا، نتن‌ئیل، ردای، اوصم و داوود.

And Ishai begate his eldest sonne Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

Nathaneel the fourth, Raddai the fift,

15

Ozem the sixt, and Dauid the seuenth.

16 یَسا دو دختر به نامهای صرویه و ابیجایل نیز داشت. پسران صرویه، ابیشای، یوآب و عسائیل بودند.

Whose sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sonnes of Zeruiah, Abishai, and Ioab, and Asahel.

17 ابیجایل که شوهرش یتر اسماعیلی بود، پسری داشت به نام عماسا.

And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Iether an Ishmeelite.

18 کالیب (پسر حصرون) دو زن به نامهای عزوبه و یریعوت داشت. اینها فرزندان عزوبه بودند: یاشر، شوباب و اردون.

And Caleb the sonne of Hezron begate Ierioth of Azubah his wife, and her sonnes are these, Iesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

19 پس از مرگ عزوبه، کالیب با افرات ازدواج کرد و از این زن صاحب پسری شد به نام حور.

And when Azubah was dead, Caleb tooke vnto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

20 اوری پسر حور، و بِصَلئیل پسر اوری بود.

And Hur begate Vri, and Vri begate Bezaleel.

21 حصرون در سن شصت سالگی با دختر ماخیر ازدواج کرد و از او هم صاحب پسری شد به نام سجوب (ماخیر پدر جلعاد بود).

And afterward came Hezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, and tooke her when hee was threescore yere olde, and shee bare him Segub.

22 سجوب پدر یائیر بود. یائیر بر بیست و سه شهر در سرزمین جلعاد حکمرانی می‌کرد.

And Segub begate Iair, which had three and twentie cities in the land of Gilead.

23 ولی قوای جشور و ارام، شهرهای یائیر و شهر قناط را همراه با شصت روستای اطراف آن به زور از او گرفتند.

And Gesthur with Aram tooke the townes of Iair from them, and Kenath and the townes thereof, euen threescore cities. All these were the sonnes of Machir the father of Gilead.

24 کالیب بعد از مرگ پدرش حصرون، با افراته، زن پدر خود ازدواج کرد. افراته از کالیب صاحب پسری شد به اسم اشحور و اشحور هم پدر تقوع بود.

And after that Hezron was dead at Caleb Ephratah, then Abiah Hezrons wife bare him also Ashur the father of Tekoa.

25 اینها پسران (پسر ارشد حصرون) بودند: رام (پسر بزرگ)، بونه، اورن، اوصم و اخیا.

And ye sonnes of Ierahmeel the eldest sone of Hezron were Ram the eldest, then Bunah, and Oren and Ozen and Ahiiah.

26 عطاره زن دوم یرحم‌ئیل، مادر اونام بود.

Also Ierahmeel had another wife named Atarah, which was the mother of Onam.

27 پسران رام پسر ارشد یرحم‌ئیل: معص، یامین و عاقر.

And the sonnes of Ram the eldest sonne of Ierahmeel were Maaz, and Iamin and Ekar.

28 پسران اونام، شمای و یاداع بودند. پسران شمای، ناداب و ابیشور بودند.

And the sonnes of Onam were Shammai and Iada. And the sonnes of Shammai, Nadab and Abishur.

29 پسران ابیشور، احبان و مولید از زن او ابیحایل بودند.

And the name of the wife of Abishur was called Abiahil, and shee bare him Ahban and Molid.

30 و پسران ناداب سلد و افایم بودند. سلد بی‌اولاد از دنیا رفت،

The sonnes also of Nadab were Seled and Appaim: but Seled died without children.

31 ولی افایم پسری به نام یشعی داشت. یشعی پدر شیشان و شیشان پدر احلای بود.

And the sonne of Appaim was Ishi, and the sonne of Ishi, Sheshan, and the sonne of Sheshan, Ahlai.

32 یاداع برادر شمای دو پسر داشت به نامهای یتر و یوناتان. یتر بی‌اولاد از دنیا رفت،

And the sonnes of Iada the brother of Shammai were Iether and Ionathan: but Iether dyed without children.

33 ولی یوناتان دو پسر به اسم فالت و زازا داشت.

And the sonnes of Ionathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sonnes of Ierahmeel.

34 شیشان پسری نداشت، ولی چندین دختر داشت. او یکی از دخترانش را به عقد یرحاع، غلام مصری خود درآورد. آنها صاحب پسری شدند و نامش را عتای گذاشتند.

And Sheshan had no sonnes, but daughters. And Sheshan had a seruant that was an Egyptian named Iarha.

And Sheshan gaue his daughter to Iarha his seruant to wife, and she bare him Attai.

36 ناتان پسر عتای، زاباد پسر ناتان،

And Attai begate Nathan, and Nathan begate Zabad,

37 افلال پسر زاباد، عوبید پسر افلال.

And Zabad begate Ephlal, and Ephlal begate Obed,

38 ییهو پسر عوبید، عزریا پسر ییهو،

And Obed begate Iehu, and Iehu begate Azariah,

39 حالص پسر عزریا، العاسه پسر حالص،

And Azariah begate Helez, and Helez begate Eleasah,

40 سسمای پسر العاسه، شلوم پسر سسمای،

And Eleasah begate Sisamai, and Sisamai begate Shallum,

41 یقمیا پسر شلوم، الیشمع پسر یقمیا بود.

And Shallum begate Iekamiah, and Iekamiah begate Elishama.

42 پسر ارشد کالیب (برادر یرحم‌ئیل) میشاع نام داشت. میشاع پدر زیف، زیف پدر ماریشه، ماریشه پدر حبرون بود.

Also the sonnes of Caleb the brother of Ierahmeel, were Mesha his eldest sonne, which was the father of Ziph: and the sonnes of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43 پسران حبرون عبارت بودند از: قورح، تفوح، راقم و شامع.

And the sonnes of Hebron were Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.

44 شامع پدر راحم بود و راحم پدر یرقعام. راقم پدر شمای بود.

And Shema begate Raham the father of Iorkoam: and Rekem begate Shammai.

45 ماعون پسر شمای بود و پدر بیت‌صور.

The sonne also of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.

46 عیفه، کنیز کالیب، حاران و موصا و جازیز را زایید. حاران هم پسری داشت به نام جازیز.

And Ephah a concubine of Caleb bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez: Haran also begate Gazez.

47 مردی به نام یهدای شش پسر داشت به اسامی: راجم، یوتام، جیشان، فالت، عیفه و شاعف.

The sonnes of Iahdai were Regem, and Iotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.

48 معکه یکی دیگر از کنیزان کالیب شش پسر به دنیا آورد به اسامی: شابر، ترحنه، شاعف (پدر مدمنه) و شوا (پدر مکبینا و جبعا). کالیب دختری نیز داشت که نامش عکسه بود.

Calebs concubine Maachah bare Sheber and Tirhanah.

She bare also Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, and Sheua the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. And Achsah was Calebs daughter.

50 اینها نوادگان کالیب بودند. پسران حور (پسر ارشد کالیب و افراته) اینها بودند: شوبال (بانی قریه یعاریم)،

These were the sonnes of Caleb the sone of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephrathah, Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim.

51 سلما (بانی بیت‌لحم) و حاریف (بانی بیت‌جادر).

Salma the father of Beth-lehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.

52 شوبال، بانی قریه یعاریم، جد طایفۀ هراوه که نصف ساکنان منوحوت را تشکیل می‌دادند، بود.

And Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim had sonnes, and he was the ouerseer of halfe Hammenoth.

53 طایفه‌های قریه یعاریم که از نسل شوبال بودند، عبارت بودند از: یتری، فوتی، شوماتی و مشراعی. (صرعاتی‌ها و اِشتائُلیان از نسل مشراعی‌ها بودند.)

And the families of Kiriath-iearim were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and ye Mishraites of them came the Zarreathites, and the Eshtaulites.

54 سلما، بانی بیت‌لحم، جد طایفۀ نطوفاتی، عطروت بیت‌یوآب و صرعی (یکی از دو طایفهٔ ساکن مانحت) بود.

The sonnes of Salma of Beth-lehem, and the Netophathite, the crownes of the house of Ioab, and halfe the Manahthites and the Zorites.

55 (طایفه‌های نویسندگانی که کتب و مدارک را رونویسی می‌کردند و ساکن یعبیص بودند عبارت بودند از: ترعاتی، شمعاتی و سوکاتی. این طایفه‌ها قینی و از نسل حمت، جد خاندان ریکاب، بودند.)

And the families of the Scribes dwelling at Iabez, the Tirathites, the Shimmeathites, the Shuchathites, which are the Kenites, that came of Hammath the father of the house of Rechab.
