| به این ترتیب بنی‌اسرائیل صندوق عهد را به خیمه‌ای که داوود برایش بر پا کرده بود، آوردند و در حضور خدا قربانیهای سوختنی و سلامتی تقدیم کردند. | 1 |
They brought in the ark of God and put it in the middle of the tent that David had set up for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before God.
| در پایان مراسم قربانی، داوود بنی‌اسرائیل را به نام خداوند برکت داد. | 2 |
When David had finished sacrificing the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.
| سپس او به هر یک از زنان و مردان یک قرص نان، یک نان خرما و یک نان کشمشی داد. | 3 |
He distributed to every Israelite, both to men and women, a loaf of bread, and a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins.
| داوود بعضی از لاویان را تعیین کرد تا در جلوی صندوق عهد قرار گیرند و خداوند، خدای اسرائیل را با سرود شکر و سپاس بگویند. آنانی که برای این خدمت تعیین شدند اینها بودند: | 4 |
David appointed certain Levites to serve before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate, thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel.
| آساف (سرپرست این عده که سنج هم می‌نواخت)، زکریا، یعی‌ئیل، شمیراموت، یحی‌ئیل، مَتّیتیا، الی‌آب، بنایا، عوبید ادوم و یعی‌ئیل. این افراد عود و بربط می‌نواختند. | 5 |
These Levites were Asaph the leader, and second to him Zechariah, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed Edom, and Jeiel. These were to play with stringed instruments and with harps. Asaph was to sound the cymbals, sounding loudly.
| بنایا و یحزی‌ئیل که کاهن بودند، همیشه در جلوی صندوق عهد شیپور می‌نواختند. | 6 |
Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly, before the ark of the covenant of God.
| در آن روز، داوود گروه سرایندگان را تشکیل داد تا در خیمهٔ عبادت برای شکر و سپاس خداوند سرود خوانند. آساف رهبر گروه سرایندگان بود. سرودی که آنها می‌خواندند این بود: | 7 |
Then on that day David first appointed Asaph and his brothers to sing this song of thanksgiving to Yahweh.
| خداوند را شکر کنید و نام او را بخوانید؛ کارهای او را به تمام قومهای جهان اعلام نمایید. | 8 |
Give thanks to Yahweh, call on his name; make known his deeds among the nations.
| در وصف او بسرایید و او را ستایش کنید؛ از کارهای شگفت‌انگیز او سخن بگویید. | 9 |
Sing to him, sing praises to him; speak of all his marvelous deeds.
| ای طالبان خداوند شادی نمایید و به نام مقدّس او فخر کنید! | 10 |
Boast in his holy name; let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.
| خداوند و قوت او را طالب باشید و پیوسته حضور او را بخواهید. | 11 |
Seek Yahweh and his strength; seek his presence continually.
| آیات و عجایبی را که به عمل آورده و فرامینی را که صادر کرده، به یاد آورید. | 12 |
Recall the marvelous things he has done, his miracles and the decrees from his mouth,
| ای فرزندان خادم او ابراهیم، ای پسران یعقوب، که برگزیدۀ او هستید. | 13 |
you descendants of Israel his servant, you people of Jacob, his chosen ones.
| اوست یهوه، خدای ما! و عدالتش در تمام دنیا نمایان است. | 14 |
He is Yahweh, our God. His decrees are on all the earth.
| عهد او را همیشه به یاد داشته باشید عهدی که با هزاران پشت بسته است؛ | 15 |
Keep his covenant in mind forever, the word that he commanded for a thousand generations.
| عهد او را با ابراهیم، و وعدهٔ او را به اسحاق! | 16 |
He calls to mind the covenant that he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac.
| او با یعقوب عهد بست و به اسرائیل وعده‌ای جاودانی داد. | 17 |
This is what he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, and to Israel as an everlasting covenant.
| او گفت: «سرزمین کنعان را به شما می‌بخشم تا ملک و میراثتان باشد.» | 18 |
He said, “I will give you the land of Canaan as your share of your inheritance.”
| بنی‌اسرائیل قومی کوچک بودند و در آن دیار غریب؛ | 19 |
When they were only few in number, so very few, and they were strangers in the land,
| میان قومها سرگردان بودند و از مملکتی به مملکتی دیگر رانده می‌شدند. | 20 |
they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
| اما خداوند نگذاشت کسی به آنها صدمه برساند، و به پادشاهان هشدار داد که بر ایشان ظلم نکنند: | 21 |
He did not allow anyone to oppress them; he punished kings for their sakes.
| «برگزیدگان مرا آزار ندهید! بر انبیای من دست ستم دراز نکنید!» | 22 |
he said, “Do not touch my anointed ones, and do not harm my prophets.”
| ای مردم روی زمین، در وصف خداوند بسرایید! هر روز به مردم بشارت دهید که خداوند نجات می‌بخشد. | 23 |
Sing to Yahweh, all the earth; announce his salvation day after day.
| شکوه و جلال او را در میان ملتها ذکر کنید، و از معجزات او در میان قومها سخن بگویید. | 24 |
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all the nations.
| زیرا خداوند بزرگ است و سزاوار ستایش! از او باید ترسید، بیش از همۀ خدایان. | 25 |
For Yahweh is great and is to be praised greatly, and he is to be feared above all other gods.
| خدایان سایر قومها بتهایی بیش نیستند، اما خداوند ما آسمانها را آفریده است. | 26 |
For all the gods of the nations are idols, but it is Yahweh who made the heavens.
| شکوه و جلال در حضور اوست، و قدرت و شادمانی در خانه او. | 27 |
Splendor and majesty are in his presence. Strength and joy are in his place.
| ای تمام قومهای روی زمین، خداوند را توصیف نمایید؛ قدرت و شکوه او را توصیف نمایید؛ | 28 |
Ascribe to Yahweh, you clans of peoples, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength!
| عظمت نام خداوند را توصیف نمایید! با هدایا به حضورش بیایید. خداوند را در شکوه قدوسیتش بپرستید! | 29 |
Ascribe to Yahweh the glory his name deserves. Bring an offering and come before him. Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness.
| ای تمام مردم روی زمین، در حضور او بلرزید. جهان پایدار است و تکان نخواهد خورد. | 30 |
Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established; it cannot be shaken.
| آسمان شادی کند و زمین به وجد آید. به همۀ قومها بگویید: «خداوند سلطنت می‌کند!» | 31 |
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let them say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns.”
| دریا و هر چه آن را پر می‌سازد غرش کند، صحرا و هر چه در آن است، به وجد آید. | 32 |
Let the sea roar, and that which fills it shout with joy. Let the fields be joyful, and all that is in them.
| درختان جنگل با شادی بسرایند، در حضور خداوند که برای داوری جهان می‌آید. | 33 |
Then let the trees in the forest shout for joy before Yahweh, for he is coming to judge the earth.
| خداوند را سپاس گویید، زیرا او نیکوست و محبتش ابدی. | 34 |
Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.
| بگویید: «ای خدای نجات ما، ما را نجات ده. ما را از میان قومها جمع کن و برهان، تا نام مقدّس تو را سپاس گوییم و در ستایش تو فخر کنیم.» | 35 |
Then say, “Save us, God of our salvation. Gather us together and rescue us from the other nations, so that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praises.”
| متبارک باد یهوه، خدای اسرائیل، از ازل تا ابد. آنگاه همۀ قوم گفتند: «آمین» و خداوند را ستایش کردند. | 36 |
May Yahweh, the God of Israel, be praised from everlasting to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen” and praised Yahweh.
| داوود ترتیبی داد که آساف و همکاران لاوی او به طور مرتب پیش صندوق عهد خداوند نگهداری می‌شد خدمت کنند و کارهای روزانهٔ آنجا را انجام دهند. | 37 |
So David left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, to serve continually before the ark, as every day's work required.
| عوبید ادوم (پسر یِدوتون) با شصت و هشت همکارش نیز به ایشان کمک می‌کردند. عوبید ادوم و حوسه مسئول نگهبانی از دروازه‌ها بودند. | 38 |
Obed Edom with those sixty-eight relatives were included. Obed Edom son of Jeduthun, along with Hosah, were to be gatekeepers.
| در ضمن خیمهٔ عبادت قدیمی که در بالای تپهٔ جبعون بود به همان صورت باقی ماند. داوود، صادوق کاهن و همکاران کاهن او را در آن خیمه گذاشت تا خداوند را در آنجا خدمت کنند. | 39 |
Zadok the priest and his fellow priests were to serve before the tabernacle of Yahweh at the high place in Gibeon.
| آنها هر روز صبح و عصر، روی مذبح، قربانیهای سوختنی به خداوند تقدیم می‌کردند، همان‌طور که خداوند در تورات به بنی‌اسرائیل فرموده بود. | 40 |
They were to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh on the altar for burnt offerings continually morning and evening, according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he gave as a command to Israel.
| داوود هیمان و یِدوتون و چند نفر دیگر را هم که انتخاب شده بودند تعیین کرد تا خداوند را به خاطر محبت ابدی‌اش ستایش کنند. | 41 |
Heman and Jeduthun were with them, together with the rest who were chosen by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his covenant faithfulness endures forever.
| آنها با نواختن شیپور و سنج و سایر آلات موسیقی، خدا را ستایش می‌کردند. پسران یِدوتون کنار دروازه می‌ایستادند. | 42 |
Heman and Jeduthun were in charge of those who played trumpets, cymbals, and the other instruments for the sacred music. The sons of Jeduthun guarded the gate.
| پس از پایان مراسم، مردم به خانه‌هایشان رفتند و داوود بازگشت تا خانهٔ خود را تبرک نماید. | 43 |
Then all the people returned to their homes, and David returned to bless his own household.
