صَفَنیا 3

۱ 1 وای بر شهر فتنه انگیز نجس ظلم کننده!

Woe to her that is rebellious and polluted! to the oppressing city!

۲ 2 آواز را نمی شنود و تادیب را نمی پذیردو بر خداوند توکل نمی نماید و بر خدای خودتقرب نمی جوید.

She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in Jehovah; she drew not near to her God.

۳ 3 سرورانش در اندرونش شیران غران و داورانش گرگان شب که چیزی تاصبح باقی نمی گذارند.

Her princes in the midst of her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they leave nothing till the morrow.

۴ 4 انبیایش مغرور وخیانتکارند. کاهنانش قدس را نجس می‌سازند وبه شریعت مخالفت می‌ورزیدند.

Her prophets are light and treacherous persons; her priests have profaned the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.

۵ 5 خداوند دراندرونش عادل است و بی‌انصافی نمی نماید. هربامداد حکم خود را روشن می‌سازد و کوتاهی نمی کند، اما مرد ظالم حیا را نمی داند.

Jehovah in the midst of her is righteous; he will not do iniquity; every morning doth he bring his justice to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.

۶ 6 امت‌ها رامنقطع ساخته‌ام که برجهای ایشان خراب شده است و کوچه های ایشان را چنان ویران کرده‌ام که عبور کننده‌ای نباشد. شهرهای ایشان چنان منهدم گردیده است که نه انسانی و نه ساکنی باقی‌مانده است.

I have cut off nations; their battlements are desolate; I have made their streets waste, so that none passeth by; their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, so that there is no inhabitant.

۷ 7 و گفتم: کاش که از من می‌ترسیدی وتادیب را می‌پذیرفتی. تا آنکه مسکن او معدوم نمی شد، موافق هر‌آنچه بر او تعیین نموده بودم. لکن ایشان صبح زود برخاسته، اعمال خود رافاسد گردانیدند.

I said, Only fear thou me; receive correction; so her dwelling shall not be cut off, [according to] all that I have appointed concerning her: but they rose early and corrupted all their doings.

۸ 8 بنابراین خداوند می‌گوید: برای من منتظرباشید تا روزی که به جهت غارت برخیزم زیرا که قصد من این است که امت‌ها را جمع نمایم وممالک را فراهم آورم تا غضب خود و تمامی حدت خشم خویش را بر ایشان بریزم زیرا که تمامی جهان به آتش غیرت من سوخته خواهدشد.

Therefore wait ye for me, saith Jehovah, until the day that I rise up to the prey; for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger; for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

۹ 9 زیرا که در آن زمان، زبان پاک به امت‌ها بازخواهم داد تا جمیع ایشان اسم یهوه را بخوانند وبه یک دل او را عبادت نمایند.

For then will I turn to the peoples of a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him with one consent.

۱۰ 10 از ماورای نهرهای حبش پرستندگانم یعنی دخترپراکندگانم هدیه‌ای برای من خواهند‌آورد.

From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.

۱۱ 11 درآن روز از همه اعمالت که به من عصیان ورزیده‌ای خجل نخواهی شد زیرا که در آن زمان آنانی را که از تکبر تو مسرورند، از میانت دورخواهم کرد و بار دیگر در کوه مقدس من تکبرنخواهی نمود.

In that day shalt thou not be put to shame for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me; for then I will take away out of the midst of thee thy proudly exulting ones, and thou shalt no more be haughty in my holy mountain.

۱۲ 12 اما در میان تو قومی ذلیل ومسکین باقی خواهم گذاشت و ایشان بر اسم خداوند توکل خواهند نمود.

But I will leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall take refuge in the name of Jehovah.

۱۳ 13 و بقیه اسرائیل بی‌انصافی نخواهند نمود و دروغ نخواهند گفت ودر دهان ایشان زبان فریبنده یافت نخواهد شدزیرا که ایشان چرا کرده، به آرامی خواهندخوابید و ترساننده‌ای نخواهد بود.

The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

۱۴ 14 ‌ای دختر صهیون ترنم نما! ای اسرائیل آواز شادمانی بده! ای دختر اورشلیم به تمامی دل‌شادمان شو و وجد نما!

Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

۱۵ 15 خداوند عقوبت های تو را برداشته و دشمنانت را دور کرده است. یهوه پادشاه اسرائیل در میان تو است پس بار دیگر بلا را نخواهی دید.

Jehovah hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the King of Israel, even Jehovah, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not fear evil any more.

۱۶ 16 در آن روز به اورشلیم گفته خواهد شد که مترس! ای صهیون دستهای توسست نشود!

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not; O Zion, let not thy hands be slack.

۱۷ 17 یهوه خدایت در میان تو قدیراست و نجات خواهد داد. او بر تو شادی بسیارخواهد نمود و در محبت خود آرامی خواهدیافت و با سرودها بر تو شادی خواهد نمود.

Jehovah thy God is in the midst of thee, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.

۱۸ 18 آنانی را که به جهت عیدها محزون می‌باشند واز آن تو هستند جمع خواهم نمود که عار برایشان بار سنگین می‌بود.

I will gather them that sorrow for the solemn assembly, who were of thee; [to whom] the burden upon her was a reproach.

۱۹ 19 اینک در آن زمان بر همه آنانی که بر تو ظلم می‌کردند، مکافات خواهم رسانید و لنگان را خواهم رهانید و رانده شدگان را جمع خواهم کرد و آنانی را که عارایشان در تمامی زمین می‌بود محل تسبیح و اسم خواهم گردانید.

Behold, at that time I will deal with all them that afflict thee; and I will save that which is lame, and gather that which was driven away; and I will make them a praise and a name, whose shame hath been in all the earth.

۲۰ 20 در آن زمان شما را در خواهم آورد و در آنزمان شما را جمع خواهم کرد زیراخداوند می‌گوید: حینی که اسیران شما را بنظرشما باز آورم آنگاه شما را در میان تمامی قوم های زمین محل اسم و تسبیح خواهم گردانید.

At that time will I bring you in, and at that time will I gather you; for I will make you a name and a praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I bring back your captivity before your eyes, saith Jehovah.
