زکریا 10

۱ 1 باران را در موسم باران آخر از خداوندبطلبید. از خداوند که برقها را می‌سازدو او به ایشان باران فراوان هرکس در زمینش گیاه خواهد بخشید.

Ask ye of the Lord rain in the latter season, and the Lord will make snows, and will give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

۲ 2 زیرا که ترافیم سخن باطل می‌گویند و فالگیران رویاهای دروغ می‌بینند وخوابهای باطل بیان می‌کنند و تسلی بیهوده می‌دهند، از این جهت مثل گوسفندان آواره می‌باشند و از نبودن شبان ذلیل می‌گردند.

For the idols have spoken what was unprofitable, and the diviners have seen a lie, and the dreamers have spoken vanity: they comforted in vain: therefore they were led away as a dock: they shall be afflicted, because they have no shepherd.

۳ 3 خشم من بر شبانان مشتعل شده است و به بزهای نرعقوبت خواهم رسانید زیرا که یهوه صبایوت ازگله خود یعنی از خاندان یهودا تفقد خواهد نمودو ایشان را مثل اسب جنگی جلال خود خواهدگردانید.

My wrath is kindled against the shepherds, and I will visit upon the buck goats: for the Lord of hosts hath visited his flock, the house of Juda, and hath made them as the horse of his glory in the battle.

۴ 4 از او سنگ زاویه و از او میخ و از اوکمان جنگی و از او همه ستمکاران با هم بیرون می‌آیند.

Out of him shall come forth the corner, out of him the pin, out of him the bow of battle, out of him every exacter together.

۵ 5 و ایشان مثل جباران (دشمنان خود را)در گل کوچه‌ها در عرصه جنگ پایمال خواهندکرد و محاربه خواهند نمود زیرا خداوند با ایشان است و اسب‌سواران خجل خواهند گردید.

And they shall be as mighty men, treading under foot the mire of the ways in battle: and they shall fight, because the Lord is with them, and the riders of horses shall be confounded.

۶ 6 و من خاندان یهودا را تقویت خواهم کرد وخاندان یوسف را خواهم رهانید و ایشان را به امنیت ساکن خواهم گردانید، زیرا که بر ایشان رحمت دارم و چنان خواهند بود که گویا ایشان راترک ننموده بودم زیرا یهوه خدای ایشان من هستم؛ پس ایشان را اجابت خواهم نمود.

And I will strengthen the house of Juda, and save the house of Joseph: and I will bring them back again, because I will have mercy on them: and they shall be as they were when I had cast them off, for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them.

۷ 7 وبنی افرایم مثل جباران شده، دل ایشان گویا ازشراب مسرور خواهد شد و پسران ایشان چون این را بینند شادی خواهند نمود و دل ایشان در خداوند وجد خواهد کرد.

And they shall be as the valiant men of Ephraim, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: and their children shall see, and shall rejoice, and their heart shall be joyful in the Lord.

۸ 8 و ایشان را صدا زده، جمع خواهم کرد زیرا که ایشان را فدیه داده‌ام وافزوده خواهند شد چنانکه در قبل افزوده شده بودند.

I will whistle for them, and I will gather them together, because I have redeemed them: and I will multiply them as they were multiplied before.

۹ 9 و ایشان را در میان قوم‌ها خواهم کاشت ومرا در مکان های بعید بیاد خواهند‌آورد و باپسران خود زیست نموده، مراجعت خواهندکرد.

And I will sow them among peoples: and from afar they shall remember me: and they shall live with their children, and shall return.

۱۰ 10 و ایشان را از زمین مصر باز خواهم آورد واز اشور جمع خواهم نمود و به زمین جلعاد ولبنان داخل خواهم ساخت و آن گنجایش ایشان را نخواهد داشت.

And I will bring them back out of the land of Egypt, and will gather them from among the Assyrians: and will bring them to the land of Galaad, and Libanus, and place shall not be found for them.

۱۱ 11 و او از دریای مصیبت عبورنموده، امواج دریا را خواهد زد و همه ژرفیهای نهر خشک خواهد شد و حشمت اشور زایل خواهد گردید و عصای مصر نیست خواهد شد.

And he shall pass over the strait of the sea, and shall strike the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the river shall be confounded, and the pride of Assyria shall be humbled, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart.

۱۲ 12 و ایشان را در خداوند قوی خواهم ساخت ودر نام او سالک خواهند شد. قول خداوند این است.

I will strengthen them in the Lord, and they shall walk in his name, saith the Lord.
