مکاشفهٔ یوحنا 5

۱ 1 و دیدم بر دست راست تخت‌نشین، کتابی را که مکتوب است از درون و بیرون، ومختوم به هفت مهر.

And I saw, at the right hand of him who sat on the throne, a book, which was written within and on the back side, and which was sealed with seven seals.

۲ 2 و فرشته‌ای قوی را دیدم که به آواز بلند ندا می‌کند که «کیست مستحق اینکه کتاب را بگشاید و مهرهایش را بردارد؟»

And I saw a strong angel, who proclaimed with a loud voice, Who is competent to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

۳ 3 وهیچ‌کس در آسمان و در زمین و در زیرزمین نتوانست آن کتاب را باز کند یا بر آن نظر کند.

And no one either in heaven above, or on the earth, or beneath the earth, was able to open the book, or to look thereon.

۴ 4 ومن بشدت می‌گریستم زیرا هیچ‌کس که شایسته گشودن کتاب یا خواندن آن یا نظر کردن بر آن باشد، یافت نشد.

And I wept much, because no one was found, who was competent to open the book, or to look on it.

۵ 5 و یکی از آن پیران به من می‌گوید: «گریان مباش! اینک آن شیری که ازسبط یهودا و ریشه داود است، غالب آمده است تاکتاب و هفت مهرش را بگشاید.»

And one of the Elders said to me, Weep not; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath been victorious: He will open the book, and its seven seals.

۶ 6 و دیدم در میان تخت و چهار حیوان و دروسط پیران، بره‌ای چون ذبح شده ایستاده است وهفت شاخ و هفت چشم دارد که هفت روح خدایند که به تمامی جهان فرستاده می‌شوند.

And I looked, and in the midst of the Elders stood a lamb, as if slain; and it had seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God that are sent into all the earth.

۷ 7 پس آمد و کتاب را از دست راست تخت‌نشین گرفته است.

And he came, and took the book from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

۸ 8 و چون کتاب را گرفت، آن چهارحیوان و بیست و چهار پیر به حضور بره افتادند وهر یکی از ایشان بربطی و کاسه های زرین پر از بخور دارند که دعاهای مقدسین است.

And when he took the book, the four Animals and the twenty and four Elders fell down before the Lamb, each of them having a harp, and cups of gold full of odors, which are the supplications of the saints.

۹ 9 وسرودی جدید می‌سرایند و می‌گویند: «مستحق گرفتن کتاب و گشودن مهرهایش هستی زیرا که ذبح شدی و مردمان را برای خدا به خون خود ازهر قبیله و زبان و قوم و امت خریدی

And they sung a new anthem, saying: Competent art thou, to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; because thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

۱۰ 10 و ایشان را برای خدای ما پادشاهان و کهنه ساختی و برزمین سلطنت خواهند کرد.»

and thou hast made them kings and priests to our God; and they reign on the earth.

۱۱ 11 و دیدم و شنیدم صدای فرشتگان بسیار راکه گرداگرد تخت و حیوانات و پیران بودند و عددایشان کرورها کرور و هزاران هزار بود؛

And I looked, and I heard, as it were the voice of many angels, around the throne, and the Animals and the Elders; and the number of them was a myriad of myriads, and thousand of thousands,

۱۲ 12 که به آواز بلند می‌گویند: «مستحق است بره ذبح شده که قوت و دولت و حکمت و توانایی و اکرام وجلال و برکت را بیابد.»

who said, with a loud voice; Competent is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing;

۱۳ 13 و هر مخلوقی که در آسمان و بر زمین وزیرزمین و در دریاست و آنچه در آنها می‌باشد، شنیدم که می‌گویند: «تخت‌نشین و بره را برکت وتکریم و جلال و توانایی باد تا ابدالاباد.» (aiōn g165)

and to be over every created thing, that is in heaven, or on earth, or under the earth, or in the sea; and all that are in them. And I heard him who sat on the throne say: Unto the Lamb be given, blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)

۱۴ 14 وچهار حیوان گفتند: «آمین!» و آن پیران به روی درافتادند و سجده نمودند.

And the four Animals said: Amen. And the Elders fell down, and adored.
