۱ 1 خداوند سلطنت گرفته است، پس قوم‌ها بلرزند! بر کروبیین جلوس می‌فرماید، زمین متزلزل گردد!

The Lord reigneth, let the people tremble: he sitteth betweene the Cherubims, let the earth be moued.

۲ 2 خداوند در صیهون عظیم است و او بر جمیع قوم هامتعال است!

The Lord is great in Zion, and he is high aboue all the people.

۳ 3 اسم عظیم و مهیب تو را حمدبگویند، که او قدوس است.

They shall prayse thy great and fearefull Name (for it is holy)

۴ 4 و قوت پادشاه، انصاف را دوست می‌دارد. تو راستی را پایدارکرده، و انصاف و عدالت را در یعقوب به عمل آورده‌ای.

And the Kings power, that loueth iudgement: for thou hast prepared equitie: thou hast executed iudgement and iustice in Iaakob.

۵ 5 یهوه خدای ما را تکریم نمایید ونزد قدمگاه او عبادت کنید، که او قدوس است.

Exalt the Lord our God, and fall downe before his footestoole: for he is holy.

۶ 6 موسی و هارون از کاهنانش و سموئیل ازخوانندگان نام او. یهوه را خواندند و او ایشان را اجابت فرمود.

Moses and Aaron were among his Priests, and Samuel among such as call vpon his Name: these called vpon the Lord, and he heard them.

۷ 7 در ستون ابر بدیشان سخن گفت. شهادات او و فریضه‌ای را که بدیشان داد نگاه داشتند.

Hee spake vnto them in the cloudie pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the Lawe that he gaue them.

۸ 8 ‌ای یهوه خدای ما توایشان را اجابت فرمودی. ایشان را خدای غفوربودی. اما از اعمال ایشان انتقام کشیدی.

Thou heardest them, O Lord our God: thou wast a fauourable God vnto them, though thou didst take vengeance for their inuentions.

۹ 9 یهوه خدای ما را متعال بخوانید و نزد کوه مقدس او عبادت کنید. زیرا یهوه خدای ما قدوس است.

Exalt the Lord our God, and fall downe before his holy Mountaine: for the Lord our God is holy.
