۱ 1 بیایید خداوند را بسراییم و صخره نجات خود را آواز شادمانی دهیم!

Oh come, let's sing to the LORD. Let's shout aloud to the rock of our salvation.

۲ 2 به حضور او با حمد نزدیک بشویم! و با مزامیر او راآواز شادمانی دهیم!

Let's come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let's extol him with songs.

۳ 3 زیرا که یهوه، خدای بزرگ است،

For the LORD is a great God, a great King above all gods.

۴ 4 و پادشاه عظیم بر جمیع خدایان. نشیبهای زمین در دست وی است و فرازهای کوهها از آن او.

In his hand are the deep places of the earth. The heights of the mountains are also his.

۵ 5 دریا از آن اوست، او آن رابساخت؛ و دستهای وی خشکی را مصور نمود.

The sea is his, and he made it. His hands formed the dry land.

۶ 6 بیایید عبادت و سجده نماییم و به حضورآفریننده خود خداوند زانو زنیم!

Oh come, let's worship and bow down. Let's kneel before the LORD, our Maker,

۷ 7 زیرا که اوخدای ما است! و ما قوم مرتع و گله دست اومی باشیم! امروز کاش آواز او را می‌شنیدید!

for he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, if you would hear his voice.

۸ 8 دل خود را سخت مسازید، مثل مریبا، مانند یوم مسا در صحرا.

Do not harden your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,

۹ 9 چون اجداد شما مرا آزمودند وتجربه کردند و اعمال مرا دیدند.

when your fathers tempted me, tested me, and saw my work.

۱۰ 10 چهل سال ازآن قوم محزون بودم و گفتم: «قوم گمراه دل هستند که طرق مرا نشناختند.

For forty years I loathed that generation, and said, "It is a people who go astray in their heart, and they do not know my ways."

۱۱ 11 پس در غضب خود قسم خوردم، که به آرامی من داخل نخواهند شد.»

Therefore I swore in my wrath, "They won't enter into my rest."
