| سرود و مزمور آساف ای خدا تو را خاموشی نباشد! ای خداساکت مباش و میارام! | ۱ 1 |
A canticle of a psalm for Asaph. O God, who shall be like to thee? hold not thy peace, neither be thou still, O God.
| زیرا اینک دشمنانت شورش می‌کنند و آنانی که از تو نفرت دارند، سر خود را برافراشته‌اند. | ۲ 2 |
For lo, thy enemies have made a noise: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
| بر قوم تو مکایدمی اندیشند وبر پناه آوردگان تو مشورت می‌کنند. | ۳ 3 |
They have taken a malicious counsel against thy people, and have consulted against thy saints.
| و می‌گویند: «بیایید ایشان را هلاک کنیم تا قومی نباشند و نام اسرائیل دیگر مذکور نشود.» | ۴ 4 |
They have said: Come and let us destroy them, so that they be not a nation: and let the name of Israel be remembered no more.
| زیرا به یک دل با هم مشورت می‌کنند و برضد تو عهد بسته‌اند. | ۵ 5 |
For they have contrived with one consent: they have made a covenant together against thee,
| خیمه های ادوم واسماعیلیان و موآب و هاجریان. | ۶ 6 |
The tabernacles of the Edomites, and the Ismahelites: Moab, and the Agarens,
| جبال و عمون و عمالیق و فلسطین با ساکنان صور. | ۷ 7 |
Gebal, and Ammon and Amalec: the Philistines, with the inhabitants of Tyre.
| آشور نیز باایشان متفق شدند و بازویی برای بنی لوطگردیدند، سلاه. | ۸ 8 |
Yea, and the Assyrian also is joined with them: they are come to the aid of the sons of Lot.
| بدیشان عمل نما چنانکه به مدیان کردی. چنانکه به سیسرا و یابین در وادی قیشون. | ۹ 9 |
Do to them as thou didst to Madian and to Sisara: as to Jabin at the brook of Cisson.
| که در عیندور هلاک شدند و سرگین برای زمین گردیدند. | ۱۰ 10 |
Who perished at Endor: and became as dung for the earth.
| سروران ایشان را مثل غراب و ذئب گردان و جمیع امرای ایشان را مثل ذبح وصلمناع. | ۱۱ 11 |
Make their princes like Oreb, and Zeb, and Zebee, and Salmana. All their princes,
| که می‌گفتند: «مساکن خدا را برای خویشتن تصرف نماییم.» | ۱۲ 12 |
Who have said: Let us possess the sanctuary of God for an inheritance.
| ای خدای من، ایشان را چون غبار گردبادبساز و مانند کاه پیش روی باد. | ۱۳ 13 |
O my God, make them like a wheel; and as stubble before the wind.
| مثل آتشی که جنگل را می‌سوزاند و مثل شعله‌ای که کوهها را مشتعل می‌سازد. | ۱۴ 14 |
As fire which burneth the wood: and as a flame burning mountains:
| همچنان ایشان را به تند بادخود بران و به طوفان خویش ایشان را آشفته گردان. | ۱۵ 15 |
So shalt thou pursue them with thy tempest: and shalt trouble them in thy wrath.
| رویهای ایشان را به ذلت پر کن تا نام تورا‌ای خداوند بطلبند. | ۱۶ 16 |
Fill their faces with shame; and they shall seek thy name, O Lord.
| خجل و پریشان بشوندتا ابدالاباد و شرمنده و هلاک گردند. | ۱۷ 17 |
Let them be ashamed and troubled for ever and ever: and let them be confounded and perish.
| و بدانندتو که اسمت یهوه می‌باشد، به تنها بر تمامی زمین متعال هستی. | ۱۸ 18 |
And let them know that the Lord is thy name: thou alone art the most High over all the earth.
