| برای سالار مغنیان. سرود بنی قورح برعلاموت خدا ملجا و قوت ماست، و مددکاری که در تنگیها فور یافت می‌شود. | ۱ 1 |
To the ouercomere, the song of the sones `of Chore, `for yongthis. Oure God, thou art refuyt, and vertu; helpere in tribulacions, that han founde vs greetly.
| پس نخواهیم ترسید، اگر‌چه جهان مبدل گردد وکوهها در قعر دریا به لرزش آید. | ۲ 2 |
Therfor we schulen not drede, while the erthe schal be troblid; and the hillis schulen be borun ouer in to the herte of the see.
| اگر‌چه آبهایش آشوب کنند و به جوش آیند و کوهها ازسرکشی آن متزلزل گردند، سلاه. | ۳ 3 |
The watris of hem sowneden, and weren troblid; hillis weren troblid togidere in the strengthe of hym.
| نهری است که شعبه هایش شهر خدا را فرحناک می‌سازد ومسکن قدوس حضرت اعلی را. | ۴ 4 |
The feersnesse of flood makith glad the citee of God; the hiyeste God hath halewid his tabernacle.
| خدا در وسطاوست پس جنبش نخواهد خورد. خدا او رااعانت خواهد کرد در طلوع صبح. | ۵ 5 |
God in the myddis therof schal not be moued; God schal helpe it eerli in the grey morewtid.
| امت‌ها نعره زدند و مملکتها متحرک گردیدند. او آواز خود راداد. پس جهان گداخته گردید. | ۶ 6 |
Hethene men weren disturblid togidere, and rewmes weren bowid doun; God yaf his vois, the erthe was moued.
| یهوه صبایوت باماست. و خدای یعقوب قلعه بلند ما، سلاه. | ۷ 7 |
The Lord of vertues is with vs; God of Jacob is oure vptakere.
| بیایید کارهای خداوند را نظاره کنید، که چه خرابیها در جهان پیدا نمود. | ۸ 8 |
Come ye, and se the werkis of the Lord; whiche wondris he hath set on the erthe.
| او جنگها را تااقصای جهان تسکین می‌دهد. کمان را می‌شکند ونیزه را قطع می‌کند و ارابه‌ها را به آتش می‌سوزاند. | ۹ 9 |
He doynge awei batels til to the ende of the lond; schal al to-brese bouwe, and schal breke togidere armuris, and schal brenne scheldis bi fier.
| بازایستید و بدانید که من خدا هستم. در میان امت‌ها، متعال و در جهان، متعال خواهم شد. | ۱۰ 10 |
Yyue ye tent, and se ye, that Y am God; Y schal be enhaunsid among hethene men; and Y schal be enhaunsid in erthe.
