۱ 1 برای سالار مغنیان. سرود بنی قورح برعلاموت خدا ملجا و قوت ماست، و مددکاری که در تنگیها فور یافت می‌شود.

For the Leader; a Psalm of the sons of Korah; upon Alamoth. A Song. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

۲ 2 پس نخواهیم ترسید، اگر‌چه جهان مبدل گردد وکوهها در قعر دریا به لرزش آید.

Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, and though the mountains be moved into the heart of the seas;

۳ 3 اگر‌چه آبهایش آشوب کنند و به جوش آیند و کوهها ازسرکشی آن متزلزل گردند، سلاه.

Though the waters thereof roar and foam, though the mountains shake at the swelling thereof. (Selah)

۴ 4 نهری است که شعبه هایش شهر خدا را فرحناک می‌سازد ومسکن قدوس حضرت اعلی را.

There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God, the holiest dwelling-place of the Most High.

۵ 5 خدا در وسطاوست پس جنبش نخواهد خورد. خدا او رااعانت خواهد کرد در طلوع صبح.

God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, at the approach of morning.

۶ 6 امت‌ها نعره زدند و مملکتها متحرک گردیدند. او آواز خود راداد. پس جهان گداخته گردید.

Nations were in tumult, kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.

۷ 7 یهوه صبایوت باماست. و خدای یعقوب قلعه بلند ما، سلاه.

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our high tower. (Selah)

۸ 8 بیایید کارهای خداوند را نظاره کنید، که چه خرابیها در جهان پیدا نمود.

Come, behold the works of the LORD, who hath made desolations in the earth.

۹ 9 او جنگها را تااقصای جهان تسکین می‌دهد. کمان را می‌شکند ونیزه را قطع می‌کند و ارابه‌ها را به آتش می‌سوزاند.

He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariots in the fire.

۱۰ 10 بازایستید و بدانید که من خدا هستم. در میان امت‌ها، متعال و در جهان، متعال خواهم شد.

'Let be, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'

۱۱ 11 یهوه صبایوت با ماست و خدای یعقوب قلعه بلند ما، سلاه.

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our high tower. (Selah)
