مزامیر 35

۱ 1 مزمور داود ای خداوند با خصمان من مخاصمه نما و جنگ کن با آنانی که با من جنگ می‌کنند.

A Psalm of David. Strive, O LORD, with them that strive with me; fight against them that fight against me.

۲ 2 سپر و مجن را بگیر و به اعانت من برخیز.

Take hold of shield and buckler, and rise up to my help.

۳ 3 و نیزه را راست کن و راه را پیش روی جفاکنندگانم ببند و به‌جان من بگو من نجات توهستم.

Draw out also the spear, and the battle-axe, against them that pursue me; say unto my soul: 'I am Thy salvation.'

۴ 4 خجل و رسوا شوند آنانی که قصد جان من دارند و آنانی که بداندیش منند، برگردانیده وخجل شوند.

Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion that seek after my soul; let them be turned back and be abashed that devise my hurt.

۵ 5 مثل کاه پیش روی باد باشند وفرشته خداوند ایشان را براند.

Let them be as chaff before the wind, the angel of the LORD thrusting them.

۶ 6 راه ایشان تاریکی و لغزنده باد. و فرشته خداوند ایشان را تعاقب کند.

Let their way be dark and slippery, the angel of the LORD pursuing them.

۷ 7 زیرا دام خود را برای من بی‌سبب درحفره‌ای پنهان کردند که آن را برای جان من بی‌جهت کنده بودند.

For without cause have they hid for me the pit, even their net, without cause have they digged for my soul.

۸ 8 هلاکت ناگهانی بدو برسد و دامی که پنهان کرد خودش را بگیرد و در آن به هلاکت گرفتار گردد.

Let destruction come upon him unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself; with destruction let him fall therein.

۹ 9 و اما جان من در خداوندوجد خواهد کرد و در نجات او شادی خواهدنمود.

And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD; it shall rejoice in His salvation.

۱۰ 10 همه استخوانهایم می‌گویند «ای خداوندکیست مانند تو که مسکین را از شخص قوی تر ازاو می‌رهاند و مسکین وفقیر را از تاراج کننده وی.»

All my bones shall say: 'LORD, who is like unto Thee, who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?'

۱۱ 11 شاهدان کینه ور برخاسته‌اند. چیزهایی را که نمی دانستم از من می‌پرسند.

Unrighteous witnesses rise up; they ask me of things that I know not.

۱۲ 12 به عوض نیکویی بدی به من می‌کنند. جان مرا بیکس گردانیده‌اند.

They repay me evil for good; bereavement is come to my soul.

۱۳ 13 و اما من چون ایشان بیمار می‌بودند پلاس می‌پوشیدم. جان خود را به روزه می‌رنجانیدم ودعایم به سینه‌ام برمی گشت.

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth, I afflicted my soul with fasting; and my prayer, may it return into mine own bosom.

۱۴ 14 مثل آنکه اودوست و برادرم می‌بود، سرگردان می‌رفتم. چون کسی‌که برای مادرش ماتم گیرد، از حزن خم می‌شدم.

I went about as though it had been my friend or my brother; I bowed down mournful, as one that mourneth for his mother.

۱۵ 15 ولی چون افتادم شادی‌کنان جمع شدند. آن فرومایگان بر من جمع شدند. و کسانی که نشناخته بودم مرا دریدند و ساکت نشدند.

But when I halt they rejoice, and gather themselves together; the abjects gather themselves together against me, and those whom I know not; they tear me, and cease not;

۱۶ 16 مثل فاجرانی که برای نان مسخرگی می‌کنند. دندانهای خود را بر من می‌افشردند.

With the profanest mockeries of backbiting they gnash at me with their teeth.

۱۷ 17 ‌ای خداوند تا به کی نظر خواهی کرد! جانم را ازخرابیهای ایشان برهان و یگانه مرا از شیربچگان.

Lord, how long wilt Thou look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, mine only one from the lions.

۱۸ 18 و تو را در جماعت بزرگ حمد خواهم گفت. ترا در میان قوم عظیم تسبیح خواهم خواند.

I will give Thee thanks in the great congregation; I will praise Thee among a numerous people.

۱۹ 19 تاآنانی که بی‌سبب دشمن منند، بر من فخر نکنند. وآنانی که بر من بی‌سبب بغض می‌نمایند، چشمک نزنند.

Let not them that are wrongfully mine enemies rejoice over me; neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

۲۰ 20 زیرا برای سلامتی سخن نمی گویند و برآنانی که در زمین آرامند سخنان حیله آمیز را تفکرمی کنند.

For they speak not peace; but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.

۲۱ 21 و دهان خود را بر من باز کرده، می‌گویند هه هه چشم ما دیده است.

Yea, they open their mouth wide against me; they say: 'Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.'

۲۲ 22 ‌ای خداوند تو آن را دیده‌ای پس سکوت مفرما. ای خداوند از من دور مباش.

Thou hast seen, O LORD; keep not silence; O Lord, be not far from me.

۲۳ 23 خویشتن را برانگیز وبرای داد من بیدار شو، ای خدای من و خداوند من برای دعوی من.

Rouse Thee, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.

۲۴ 24 ‌ای یهوه خدایم مرا موافق عدل خود داد بده، مبادا بر من شادی نمایند.

Judge me, O LORD my God, according to Thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

۲۵ 25 تادر دل خود نگویند اینک مراد ما. تا نگویند او رابلعیده‌ایم.

Let them not say in their heart: 'Aha, we have our desire'; let them not say: 'We have swallowed him up.'

۲۶ 26 و آنانی که در بدی من شادند، با هم خجل و شرمنده شوند. و آنانی که بر من تکبرمی کنند، به خجلت و رسوایی ملبس شوند.

Let them be ashamed and abashed together that rejoice at my hurt; let them be clothed with shame and confusion that magnify themselves against me.

۲۷ 27 آنانی که خواهان حق منند ترنم و شادی نمایند. و دائم گویند خداوند بزرگ است که به سلامتی بنده خود رغبت دارد.

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that delight in my righteousness; yea, let them say continually: 'Magnified be the LORD, who delighteth in the peace of His servant.'

۲۸ 28 و زبانم عدالت تو را بیان خواهد کرد و تسبیح تو را تمامی روز.

And my tongue shall speak of Thy righteousness, and of Thy praise all the day.
