| برای سالار مغنیان. مزمور داود ای خداوند در قوت تو پادشاه شادی می کند و در نجات تو چه بسیار به وجدخواهد آمد. | ۱ 1 |
To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. The King shall reioyce in thy strength, O Lord: yea how greatly shall he reioyce in thy saluation!
| مراد دل او را به وی بخشیدی و مسالت زبانش را از او دریغ نداشتی. سلاه. | ۲ 2 |
Thou hast giuen him his hearts desire, and hast not denyed him the request of his lips. (Selah)
| زیرابه برکات نیکو بر مراد او سبقت جستی. تاجی اززر خالص برسر وی نهادی. | ۳ 3 |
For thou diddest preuent him with liberall blessings, and didest set a crowne of pure gold vpon his head.
| حیات را از توخواست و آن را به وی دادی، و طول ایام را تاابدالاباد. | ۴ 4 |
He asked life of thee, and thou gauest him a long life for euer and euer.
| جلال او به‌سبب نجات تو عظیم شده. اکرام و حشمت را بر او نهاده‌ای. | ۵ 5 |
His glory is great in thy saluation: dignitie and honour hast thou laid vpon him.
| زیرا او رامبارک ساخته‌ای تا ابدالاباد. به حضور خود او رابی نهایت شادمان گردانیده‌ای. | ۶ 6 |
For thou hast set him as blessings for euer: thou hast made him glad with the ioy of thy countenance.
| زیرا که پادشاه برخداوند توکل می‌دارد، و به رحمت حضرت اعلی جنبش نخواهد خورد. | ۷ 7 |
Because the King trusteth in the Lord, and in the mercie of the most High, he shall not slide.
| دست تو همه دشمنانت را خواهد دریافت. دست راست تو آنانی را که از تو نفرت دارندخواهد دریافت. | ۸ 8 |
Thine hand shall finde out all thine enemies, and thy right hand shall finde out them that hate thee.
| در وقت غضب خود، ایشان راچون تنور آتش خواهی ساخت. خداوند ایشان را در خشم خود خواهد بلعید و آتش ایشان راخواهد خورد. | ۹ 9 |
Thou shalt make them like a fierie ouen in time of thine anger: the Lord shall destroy them in his wrath, and the fire shall deuoure them.
| ثمره ایشان را از زمین هلاک خواهی ساخت و ذریت ایشان را از میان بنی آدم. | ۱۰ 10 |
Their fruite shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seede from the children of men.
| زیرا قصد بدی برای تو کردند و مکایدی رااندیشیدند که آن را نتوانستند بجا آورد. | ۱۱ 11 |
For they intended euill against thee, and imagined mischiefe, but they shall not preuaile.
| زیراکه ایشان را روگردان خواهی ساخت. بر زههای خود تیرها را به روی ایشان نشان خواهی گرفت. | ۱۲ 12 |
Therefore shalt thou put them aparte, and the strings of thy bowe shalt thou make readie against their faces.
| ای خداوند در قوت خود متعال شو. جبروت تو را ترنم و تسبیح خواهیم خواند. | ۱۳ 13 |
Be thou exalted, O Lord, in thy strength: so will we sing and prayse thy power.
