مزامیر 18

۱ 1 برای سالار مغنیان، مزمور داود بنده خداوند که کلام این سرود را به خداوند گفت، در روزی که خداوند او را از دست همه دشمنانش و از دست شاول رهایی داد. پس گفت: ای خداوند! ای قوت من! تو را محبت می نمایم.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD, who spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said, I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.

۲ 2 خداوند صخره من است وملجا و نجات‌دهنده من. خدایم صخره من است که در او پناه می‌برم. سپر من و شاخ نجاتم و قلعه بلند من.

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

۳ 3 خداوند را که سزاوار کل حمد است، خواهم خواند. پس، از دشمنانم رهایی خواهم یافت.

I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies.

۴ 4 رسنهای موت مرا احاطه کرده، و سیلابهای شرارت مرا ترسانیده بود.

The sorrows of death surrounded me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.

۵ 5 رسنهای گور دور مراگرفته بود و دامهای موت پیش روی من درآمده. (Sheol h7585)

The sorrows of hell surrounded me: the snares of death seized me. (Sheol h7585)

۶ 6 در تنگی خود خداوند را خواندم و نزد خدای خویش استغاثه نمودم. او آواز مرا از هیکل خودشنید و استغاثه من به حضورش به گوش وی رسید.

In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

۷ 7 زمین متزلزل و مرتعش شده، اساس کوههابلرزید و متزلزل گردید چونکه خشم او افروخته شد.

Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was angry.

۸ 8 دخان از بینی او برآمد و نار از دهانش ملتهب گشت و آتشها از آن افروخته گردید.

There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

۹ 9 آسمان را خم کرده، نزول فرمود و زیر پای وی تاریکی غلیظ می‌بود.

He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.

۱۰ 10 برکروبی سوار شده، پرواز نمود و بر بالهای باد طیران کرد.

And he rode upon a cherub, and flew: yea, he flew upon the wings of the wind.

۱۱ 11 تاریکی را پرده خود و خیمه‌ای گرداگرد خویش بساخت، تاریکی آبها و ابرهای متراکم را.

He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion around him was dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

۱۲ 12 از تابش پیش روی وی ابرهایش می‌شتافتند، تگرگ و آتشهای افروخته.

At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.

۱۳ 13 و خداوند از آسمان رعد کرده، حضرت اعلی آواز خود را بداد، تگرگ و آتشهای افروخته را.

The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

۱۴ 14 پس تیرهای خود را فرستاده، ایشان را پراکنده ساخت، و برقها بینداخت وایشان را پریشان نمود.

Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and destroyed them.

۱۵ 15 آنگاه عمق های آب ظاهر شد و اساس ربع مسکون مکشوف گردید، از تنبیه تو‌ای خداوند، از نفخه باد بینی تو!

Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were uncovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.

۱۶ 16 پس، از اعلی فرستاده، مرا برگرفت و ازآبهای بسیار بیرون کشید.

He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

۱۷ 17 و مرا از دشمنان زورآورم رهایی داد و از خصمانم، زیرا که از من تواناتر بودند.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them who hated me: for they were too strong for me.

۱۸ 18 در روز بلای من پیش رویم درآمدند، لیکن خداوند تکیه گاه من بود.

They came upon me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.

۱۹ 19 و مرابجای وسیع بیرون آورد؛ مرا نجات داد زیرا که درمن رغبت می‌داشت.

He brought me forth also in a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

۲۰ 20 خداوند موافق عدالتم مرا جزا داد و به حسب طهارت دستم مرا مکافات رسانید.

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

۲۱ 21 زیراکه راههای خداوند را نگاه داشته، و به خدای خویش عصیان نورزیده‌ام،

For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

۲۲ 22 و جمیع احکام اوپیش روی من بوده است و فرائض او را از خوددور نکرده‌ام،

For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.

۲۳ 23 و نزد او بی‌عیب بوده‌ام وخویشتن را از گناه خود نگاه داشته‌ام.

I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from my iniquity.

۲۴ 24 پس خداوند مرا موافق عدالتم پاداش داده است و به حسب طهارت دستم در نظر وی.

Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

۲۵ 25 خویشتن رابا رحیم، رحیم می‌نمایی، و با مرد کامل، خود راکامل می‌نمایی.

With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt show thyself upright;

۲۶ 26 خویشتن را با طاهر، طاهرمی نمایی و با مکار، به مکر رفتار می‌کنی.

With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the perverse thou wilt contend.

۲۷ 27 زیراقوم مظلوم را خواهی رهانید و چشمان متکبران را به زیر خواهی انداخت.

For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.

۲۸ 28 زیرا که تو چراغ مراخواهی افروخت؛ یهوه خدایم تاریکی مرا روشن خواهد گردانید.

For thou wilt light my lamp: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

۲۹ 29 زیرا به مدد تو بر فوجها حمله می‌برم و به خدای خود از حصارها برمی جهم.

For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

۳۰ 30 و اما خدا طریق او کامل است و کلام خداوندمصفی. او برای همه متوکلان خود سپر است،

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

۳۱ 31 زیرا کیست خدا غیر از یهوه؟ و کیست صخره‌ای غیر از خدای ما؟

For who is God except the LORD? or who is a rock except our God?

۳۲ 32 خدایی که کمر مرابه قوت بسته و راههای مرا کامل گردانیده است.

It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.

۳۳ 33 پایهای مرا مثل آهو ساخته و مرا به مقامهای اعلای من برپا داشته است.

He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.

۳۴ 34 دستهای مرا برای جنگ تعلیم داده است، که کمان برنجین به بازوی من خم شد.

He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms.

۳۵ 35 سپر نجات خود را به من داده‌ای. دست راستت عمود من شده و مهربانی تو مرابزرگ ساخته است.

Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath held me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

۳۶ 36 قدمهایم را زیرم وسعت دادی که پایهای من نلغزید.

Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.

۳۷ 37 دشمنان خود راتعاقب نموده، بدیشان خواهم رسید و تا تلف نشوند بر نخواهم گشت.

I have pursued my enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.

۳۸ 38 ایشان را فرو خواهم کوفت که نتوانند برخاست و زیر پاهای من خواهند افتاد.

I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they have fallen under my feet.

۳۹ 39 زیرا کمر مرا برای جنگ به قوت بسته‌ای و مخالفانم را زیر پایم انداخته‌ای.

For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.

۴۰ 40 گردنهای دشمنانم را به من تسلیم کرده‌ای تاخصمان خود را نابود بسازم.

Thou hast also given me the necks of my enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.

۴۱ 41 فریاد برآوردنداما رهاننده‌ای نبود نزد خداوند، ولی ایشان رااجابت نکرد.

They cried, but there was none to save them: even to the LORD, but he answered them not.

۴۲ 42 ایشان را چون غبار پیش بادساییده‌ام؛ مثل گل کوچه‌ها ایشان را دور ریخته‌ام.

Then I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

۴۳ 43 مرا از منازعه قوم رهانیده، سر امت هاساخته‌ای. قومی را که نشناخته بودم، مرا خدمت می‌نمایند.

Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.

۴۴ 44 به مجرد شنیدن مرا اطاعت خواهند کرد؛ فرزندان غربا نزد من تذلل خواهندنمود.

As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves to me.

۴۵ 45 فرزندان غربا پژمرده می‌شوند و درقلعه های خود خواهند لرزید.

The strangers shall fade away, and come trembling out of their fortresses.

۴۶ 46 خداوند زنده است و صخره من متبارک باد، و خدای نجات من متعال!

The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

۴۷ 47 خدایی که برای من انتقام می‌گیرد وقوم‌ها را زیر من مغلوب می‌سازد.

It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.

۴۸ 48 مرا ازدشمنانم رهانیده، برخصمانم بلند کرده‌ای و ازمرد ظالم مرا خلاصی داده‌ای!

He delivereth me from my enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

۴۹ 49 لهذا‌ای خداوند تو را در میان امت‌ها حمد خواهم گفت وبه نام تو سرود خواهم خواند.

Therefore will I give thanks to thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises to thy name.

۵۰ 50 که نجات عظیمی به پادشاه خود داده و به مسیح خویش رحمت نموده است. یعنی به داود و ذریت او تاابدالاباد.

He giveth great deliverance to his king; and showeth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
