| برای سالار مغنیان، مزمور داود بنده خداوند که کلام این سرود را به خداوند گفت، در روزی که خداوند او را از دست همه دشمنانش و از دست شاول رهایی داد. پس گفت: ای خداوند! ای قوت من! تو را محبت می نمایم. | ۱ 1 |
I love thee, O LORD, my strength!
| خداوند صخره من است وملجا و نجات‌دهنده من. خدایم صخره من است که در او پناه می‌برم. سپر من و شاخ نجاتم و قلعه بلند من. | ۲ 2 |
Jehovah is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I trust; My shield, my strong defence, and my high tower.
| خداوند را که سزاوار کل حمد است، خواهم خواند. پس، از دشمنانم رهایی خواهم یافت. | ۳ 3 |
I called upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, And was delivered from my enemies.
| رسنهای موت مرا احاطه کرده، و سیلابهای شرارت مرا ترسانیده بود. | ۴ 4 |
The snares of death encompassed me; The floods of destruction filled me with dismay;
| رسنهای گور دور مراگرفته بود و دامهای موت پیش روی من درآمده. (Sheol h7585) | ۵ 5 |
The snares of the underworld surrounded me, And the nets of death seized upon me. (Sheol h7585)
| در تنگی خود خداوند را خواندم و نزد خدای خویش استغاثه نمودم. او آواز مرا از هیکل خودشنید و استغاثه من به حضورش به گوش وی رسید. | ۶ 6 |
In my distress I called upon the LORD, And cried unto my God; He heard my voice from his palace, And my cry came before him into his ears.
| زمین متزلزل و مرتعش شده، اساس کوههابلرزید و متزلزل گردید چونکه خشم او افروخته شد. | ۷ 7 |
Then the earth quaked and trembled; The foundations of the mountains rocked and were shaken, Because his wrath was kindled.
| دخان از بینی او برآمد و نار از دهانش ملتهب گشت و آتشها از آن افروخته گردید. | ۸ 8 |
A smoke went up from his nostrils, And fire from his mouth devoured; Burning coals shot forth from him.
| آسمان را خم کرده، نزول فرمود و زیر پای وی تاریکی غلیظ می‌بود. | ۹ 9 |
He bowed the heavens, and came down; And darkness was under his feet;
| برکروبی سوار شده، پرواز نمود و بر بالهای باد طیران کرد. | ۱۰ 10 |
And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly; Yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
| تاریکی را پرده خود و خیمه‌ای گرداگرد خویش بساخت، تاریکی آبها و ابرهای متراکم را. | ۱۱ 11 |
And he made darkness his covering; His pavilion round about him was dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
| از تابش پیش روی وی ابرهایش می‌شتافتند، تگرگ و آتشهای افروخته. | ۱۲ 12 |
At the brightness before him, his thick clouds passed away; Then came hailstones and coals of fire.
| و خداوند از آسمان رعد کرده، حضرت اعلی آواز خود را بداد، تگرگ و آتشهای افروخته را. | ۱۳ 13 |
The LORD also thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered his voice, Amid hailstones and coals of fire.
| پس تیرهای خود را فرستاده، ایشان را پراکنده ساخت، و برقها بینداخت وایشان را پریشان نمود. | ۱۴ 14 |
He sent forth his arrows, and scattered them; Continual lightnings, and discomfited them.
| آنگاه عمق های آب ظاهر شد و اساس ربع مسکون مکشوف گردید، از تنبیه تو‌ای خداوند، از نفخه باد بینی تو! | ۱۵ 15 |
Then the channels of the deep were seen, And the foundations of the earth were laid bare At thy rebuke, O LORD! At the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
| پس، از اعلی فرستاده، مرا برگرفت و ازآبهای بسیار بیرون کشید. | ۱۶ 16 |
He stretched forth his hand from above; he took me, And drew me out of deep waters.
| و مرا از دشمنان زورآورم رهایی داد و از خصمانم، زیرا که از من تواناتر بودند. | ۱۷ 17 |
He delivered me from my strong enemy; From my adversaries, who were too powerful for me.
| در روز بلای من پیش رویم درآمدند، لیکن خداوند تکیه گاه من بود. | ۱۸ 18 |
They fell upon me in the day of my calamity; But the LORD was my stay.
| و مرابجای وسیع بیرون آورد؛ مرا نجات داد زیرا که درمن رغبت می‌داشت. | ۱۹ 19 |
He brought me forth into a large place; He delivered me, because he delighted in me.
| خداوند موافق عدالتم مرا جزا داد و به حسب طهارت دستم مرا مکافات رسانید. | ۲۰ 20 |
The LORD hath rewarded me according to my righteous; According to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
| زیراکه راههای خداوند را نگاه داشته، و به خدای خویش عصیان نورزیده‌ام، | ۲۱ 21 |
For I have kept the ways of the LORD, And have not wickedly departed from my God.
| و جمیع احکام اوپیش روی من بوده است و فرائض او را از خوددور نکرده‌ام، | ۲۲ 22 |
For all his laws were in my sight; I did not put away his statutes from me.
| و نزد او بی‌عیب بوده‌ام وخویشتن را از گناه خود نگاه داشته‌ام. | ۲۳ 23 |
I was upright before him, And kept myself from iniquity.
| پس خداوند مرا موافق عدالتم پاداش داده است و به حسب طهارت دستم در نظر وی. | ۲۴ 24 |
Therefore hath the LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands before his eyes.
| خویشتن رابا رحیم، رحیم می‌نمایی، و با مرد کامل، خود راکامل می‌نمایی. | ۲۵ 25 |
To the merciful thou showest thyself merciful; To the upright thou showest thyself upright;
| خویشتن را با طاهر، طاهرمی نمایی و با مکار، به مکر رفتار می‌کنی. | ۲۶ 26 |
To the pure thou showest thyself pure, And to the perverse thou showest thyself perverse.
| زیراقوم مظلوم را خواهی رهانید و چشمان متکبران را به زیر خواهی انداخت. | ۲۷ 27 |
For thou savest the afflicted people, But the haughty countenance thou bringest down.
| زیرا که تو چراغ مراخواهی افروخت؛ یهوه خدایم تاریکی مرا روشن خواهد گردانید. | ۲۸ 28 |
Thou causest my lamp to shine; Jehovah, my God, enlighteneth my darkness.
| زیرا به مدد تو بر فوجها حمله می‌برم و به خدای خود از حصارها برمی جهم. | ۲۹ 29 |
For through thee I have broken through troops; Through my God I have leaped over walls.
| و اما خدا طریق او کامل است و کلام خداوندمصفی. او برای همه متوکلان خود سپر است، | ۳۰ 30 |
The ways of God are just and true; His word is pure, tried in the fire; He is a shield to all who put their trust in him.
| زیرا کیست خدا غیر از یهوه؟ و کیست صخره‌ای غیر از خدای ما؟ | ۳۱ 31 |
Who, then, is God, save Jehovah? And who is a rock, save our God?
| خدایی که کمر مرابه قوت بسته و راههای مرا کامل گردانیده است. | ۳۲ 32 |
It is God that girded me with strength, And made my way plain.
| پایهای مرا مثل آهو ساخته و مرا به مقامهای اعلای من برپا داشته است. | ۳۳ 33 |
He made my feet like the hind's, And set me in my high places;
| دستهای مرا برای جنگ تعلیم داده است، که کمان برنجین به بازوی من خم شد. | ۳۴ 34 |
He taught my hands to war, So that my arm bent the bow of brass.
| سپر نجات خود را به من داده‌ای. دست راستت عمود من شده و مهربانی تو مرابزرگ ساخته است. | ۳۵ 35 |
Thou gavest me the shield of thy protection; Thy right hand held me up, And thy goodness made me great.
| قدمهایم را زیرم وسعت دادی که پایهای من نلغزید. | ۳۶ 36 |
Thou didst make a wide path for my steps, So that my feet did not stumble.
| دشمنان خود راتعاقب نموده، بدیشان خواهم رسید و تا تلف نشوند بر نخواهم گشت. | ۳۷ 37 |
I pursued my enemies and overtook them, And turned not back till I had destroyed them.
| ایشان را فرو خواهم کوفت که نتوانند برخاست و زیر پاهای من خواهند افتاد. | ۳۸ 38 |
I smote them, so that they could not rise; They fell under my feet.
| زیرا کمر مرا برای جنگ به قوت بسته‌ای و مخالفانم را زیر پایم انداخته‌ای. | ۳۹ 39 |
Thou didst gird me with strength for the battle; Thou didst cast down my adversaries under me.
| گردنهای دشمنانم را به من تسلیم کرده‌ای تاخصمان خود را نابود بسازم. | ۴۰ 40 |
Thou didst cause my enemies to turn their backs, So that I destroyed them that hated me.
| فریاد برآوردنداما رهاننده‌ای نبود نزد خداوند، ولی ایشان رااجابت نکرد. | ۴۱ 41 |
They cried, but there was none to help; To Jehovah, but he answered them not.
| ایشان را چون غبار پیش بادساییده‌ام؛ مثل گل کوچه‌ها ایشان را دور ریخته‌ام. | ۴۲ 42 |
I beat them small, like dust before the wind; I cast them out as the dirt of the streets.
| مرا از منازعه قوم رهانیده، سر امت هاساخته‌ای. قومی را که نشناخته بودم، مرا خدمت می‌نمایند. | ۴۳ 43 |
Thou hast delivered me from the assaults of the nations; Thou hast made me the head of the kingdoms. Nations whom I knew not serve me;
| به مجرد شنیدن مرا اطاعت خواهند کرد؛ فرزندان غربا نزد من تذلل خواهندنمود. | ۴۴ 44 |
They who have only heard of me obey me; Yea, men of a strange land submit themselves to me;
| فرزندان غربا پژمرده می‌شوند و درقلعه های خود خواهند لرزید. | ۴۵ 45 |
Men of a strange land fade away, like a leaf, And come trembling from their strongholds.
| خداوند زنده است و صخره من متبارک باد، و خدای نجات من متعال! | ۴۶ 46 |
Jehovah is the living God; blessed be my rock; Exalted be the God of my salvation!
| خدایی که برای من انتقام می‌گیرد وقوم‌ها را زیر من مغلوب می‌سازد. | ۴۷ 47 |
It is God who hath given me vengeance, And subdued the nations under me;
| مرا ازدشمنانم رهانیده، برخصمانم بلند کرده‌ای و ازمرد ظالم مرا خلاصی داده‌ای! | ۴۸ 48 |
He delivered me from my enemies; Yea, thou hast lifted me up above my adversaries; Thou hast saved me from the violent man!
| لهذا‌ای خداوند تو را در میان امت‌ها حمد خواهم گفت وبه نام تو سرود خواهم خواند. | ۴۹ 49 |
Therefore I will give thanks to thee, O LORD! among the nations, And sing praises to thy name.
| که نجات عظیمی به پادشاه خود داده و به مسیح خویش رحمت نموده است. یعنی به داود و ذریت او تاابدالاباد. | ۵۰ 50 |
Great deliverance giveth he to his king, And showeth mercy to his anointed, —To David and to his posterity for ever.
