مزامیر 15

۱ 1 مزمور داود ای خداوند کیست که در خیمه تو فرودآید؟ و کیست که در کوه مقدس توساکن گردد؟

A Melody of David. O Yahweh! Who shall be a guest in thy tent? Who shall abide in thy holy mountain?

۲ 2 آنکه بی‌عیب سالک باشد و عدالت را به‌جاآورد، و در دل خویش راست گو باشد،

He that walketh without blame, and doeth what is right, and speaketh truth with his heart;

۳ 3 که به زبان خود غیبت ننماید؛ و به همسایه خود بدی نکند و درباره اقارب خویش مذمت را قبول ننماید،

Hath not carried slander on his tongue, hath not done his friend a wrong, nor, a reproach, taken up against his neighbour;

۴ 4 که در نظر خود حقیر و خوار است وآنانی را که از خداوند می‌ترسند مکرم می‌دارد وقسم به ضرر خود می‌خورد و تغییر نمی دهد.

Despised in his sight, is the reprobate, but, them who revere Yahweh, he doth honour, he hath sworn to his neighbour, and will not change;

۵ 5 نقره خود را به سود نمی دهد و رشوه بر بی‌گناه نمی گیرد. آنکه این را به‌جا آورد تا ابدالاباد جنبش نخواهد خورد.

His silver, hath he not put out on interest, nor, a bribe against the innocent, hath he taken. He that doeth these things, shall not be shaken unto times age-abiding.
