| هللویاه، نام خداوند را تسبیح بخوانید! ای بندگان خداوند تسبیح بخوانید! | ۱ 1 |
Alleluya. Herie ye the name of the Lord; ye seruauntis of the Lord, herie ye.
| ای شما که در خانه خداوندمی ایستید، در صحن های خانه خدای ما. | ۲ 2 |
Ye that stonden in the hous of the Lord; in the hallis of `the hous of oure God.
| هللویاه، زیرا خداوند نیکو است! نام او رابسرایید زیرا که دلپسند است. | ۳ 3 |
Herie ye the Lord, for the Lord is good; singe ye to his name, for it is swete.
| زیرا که خداوندیعقوب را برای خود برگزید، و اسرائیل را به جهت ملک خاص خویش. | ۴ 4 |
For the Lord chees Jacob to him silf; Israel in to possessioun to him silf.
| زیرا می‌دانم که خداوند بزرگ است و خداوند ما برتر است ازجمیع خدایان. | ۵ 5 |
For Y haue knowe, that the Lord is greet; and oure God bifore alle goddis.
| هر‌آنچه خداوند خواست آن را کرد، درآسمان و در زمین و در دریا و در همه لجه‌ها. | ۶ 6 |
The Lord made alle thingis, what euere thingis he wolde, in heuene and in erthe; in the see, and in alle depthis of watris.
| ابرها را از اقصای زمین برمی آورد و برقها رابرای باران می‌سازد و بادها را از مخزنهای خویش بیرون می‌آورد. | ۷ 7 |
He ledde out cloudis fro the ferthest part of erthe; and made leitis in to reyn. Which bringith forth wyndis fro hise tresours;
| که نخست زادگان مصررا کشت، هم از انسان هم از بهایم. | ۸ 8 |
which killide the firste gendrid thingis of Egipt, fro man `til to beeste.
| آیات ومعجزات را در وسط تو‌ای مصر فرستاد، برفرعون و بر جمیع بندگان وی. | ۹ 9 |
He sente out signes and grete wondris, in the myddil of thee, thou Egipt; in to Farao and in to alle hise seruauntis.
| که امتهای بسیاررا زد و پادشاهان عظیم را کشت. | ۱۰ 10 |
Which smoot many folkis; and killide stronge kingis.
| سیحون پادشاه اموریان و عوج پادشاه باشان و جمیع ممالک کنعان را. | ۱۱ 11 |
Seon, the king of Ammorreis, and Og, the king of Basan; and alle the rewmes of Chanaan.
| و زمین ایشان را به میراث داد، یعنی به میراث قوم خود اسرائیل. | ۱۲ 12 |
And he yaf the lond of hem eritage; eritage to Israel, his puple.
| ای خداوند، نام توست تا ابدالاباد؛ و‌ای خداوند، یادگاری توست تا جمیع طبقات. | ۱۳ 13 |
Lord, thi name is with outen ende; Lord, thi memorial be in generacioun and in to generacioun.
| زیرا خداوند قوم خود را داوری خواهد نمودو بر بندگان خویش شفقت خواهد فرمود. | ۱۴ 14 |
For the Lord schal deme his puple; and he schal be preied in hise seruauntis.
| بتهای امتها طلا و نقره می‌باشند، عمل دستهای انسان. | ۱۵ 15 |
The symulacris of hethene men ben siluer and gold; the werkis of the hondis of men.
| دهنها دارند و سخن نمی گویند؛ چشمان دارند و نمی بینند؛ | ۱۶ 16 |
Tho han a mouth, and schulen not speke; tho han iyen, and schulen not se.
| گوشهادارند و نمی شنوند بلکه در دهان ایشان هیچ نفس نیست. | ۱۷ 17 |
Tho han eeris, and schulen not here; for `nether spirit is in the mouth of tho.
| سازندگان آنها مثل آنها می‌باشند وهرکه بر آنها توکل دارد. | ۱۸ 18 |
Thei that maken tho, be maad lijk tho; and alle that tristen in tho.
| ای خاندان اسرائیل، خداوند را متبارک خوانید. ای خاندان هارون، خداوند را متبارک خوانید. | ۱۹ 19 |
The hous of Israel, blesse ye the Lord; the hous of Aaron, blesse ye the Lord.
| ای خاندان لاوی، خداوند را متبارک خوانید. ای ترسندگان خداوند، خداوند را متبارک خوانید. | ۲۰ 20 |
The hous of Leuy, blesse ye the Lord; ye that dreden the Lord, `blesse ye the Lord.
| خداونداز صهیون متبارک باد، که در اورشلیم ساکن است. هللویاه. | ۲۱ 21 |
Blessid be the Lord of Syon; that dwellith in Jerusalem.
