۱ 1 ا خوشا‌به‌حال کاملان طریق که به شریعت خداوند سالکند.

ALEPH. Happy are they that are upright in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.

۲ 2 خوشا‌به‌حال آنانی که شهادات او را حفظ می‌کنند و به تمامی دل او را می‌طلبند.

Happy are they that keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart.

۳ 3 کج روی نیز نمی کنندو به طریق های وی سلوک می‌نمایند.

Yea, they do no unrighteousness; they walk in His ways.

۴ 4 تووصایای خود را امر فرموده‌ای تا آنها را تمام نگاه داریم.

Thou hast ordained Thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently.

۵ 5 کاش که راههای من مستحکم شودتا فرایض تو را حفظ کنم.

Oh that my ways were directed to observe Thy statutes!

۶ 6 آنگاه خجل نخواهم شد چون تمام اوامر تو را در مد نظر خود دارم.

Then should I not be ashamed, when I have regard unto all Thy commandments.

۷ 7 تو را به راستی دل حمد خواهم گفت چون داوریهای عدالت تو را آموخته شوم.

I will give thanks unto Thee with uprightness of heart, when I learn Thy righteous ordinances.

۸ 8 فرایض تورا نگاه می‌دارم. مرا بالکلیه ترک منما.

I will observe Thy statutes; O forsake me not utterly.

۹ 9 به چه چیز مرد جوان راه خود را پاک می‌سازد؟ به نگاه داشتنش موافق کلام تو.

BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word.

۱۰ 10 به تمامی دل تو را طلبیدم. مگذار که از اوامر توگمراه شوم.

With my whole heart have I sought Thee; O let me not err from Thy commandments.

۱۱ 11 کلام تو را در دل خود مخفی داشتم که مبادا به تو گناه ورزم.

Thy word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee.

۱۲ 12 ‌ای خداوند تومتبارک هستی فرایض خود را به من بیاموز.

Blessed art Thou, O LORD; teach me Thy statutes.

۱۳ 13 به لب های خود بیان کردم تمامی داوری های دهان تو را.

With my lips have I told all the ordinances of Thy mouth.

۱۴ 14 در طریق شهادات تو شادمانم.

I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

۱۵ 15 چنانکه در هر قسم توانگری، در وصایای توتفکر می‌کنم و به طریق های تو نگران خواهم بود.

I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways.

۱۶ 16 از فرایض تو لذت می‌برم، پس کلام تو رافراموش نخواهم کرد.

I will delight myself in Thy statutes; I will not forget Thy word.

۱۷ 17 به بنده خود احسان بنما تا زنده شوم و کلام تو را حفظ نمایم.

GIMEL. Deal bountifully with Thy servant that I may live, and I will observe Thy word.

۱۸ 18 چشمان مرا بگشا تا ازشریعت تو چیزهای عجیب بینم.

Open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law.

۱۹ 19 من در زمین غریب هستم. اوامر خود را از من مخفی مدار.

I am a sojourner in the earth; hide not Thy commandments from me.

۲۰ 20 جان من شکسته می‌شود از اشتیاق داوریهای تو در هر وقت.

My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto Thine ordinances at all times.

۲۱ 21 متکبران ملعون را توبیخ نمودی، که از اوامر تو گمراه می‌شوند.

Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, that do err from Thy commandments.

۲۲ 22 ننگ ورسوایی را از من بگردان، زیرا که شهادات تو راحفظ کرده‌ام.

Take away from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept Thy testimonies.

۲۳ 23 سروران نیز نشسته، به ضد من سخن‌گفتند. لیکن بنده تو در فرایض تو تفکرمی کند.

Even though princes sit and talk against me, thy servant doth meditate in Thy statutes.

۲۴ 24 شهادات تو نیز ابتهاج من و مشورت دهندگان من بوده‌اند.

Yea, Thy testimonies are my delight, they are my counsellors.

۲۵ 25 جان من به خاک چسبیده است. مرا موافق کلام خود زنده ساز.

DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust; quicken Thou me according to Thy word.

۲۶ 26 راههای خود را ذکر کردم و مرا اجابت نمودی. پس فرایض خویش را به من بیاموز.

I told of my ways, and Thou didst answer me; teach me Thy statutes.

۲۷ 27 طریق وصایای خود را به من بفهمان و در کارهای عجیب تو تفکر خواهم نمود.

Make me to understand the way of Thy precepts, that I may talk of Thy wondrous works.

۲۸ 28 جان من از حزن گداخته می‌شود. مرا موافق کلام خود برپا بدار.

My soul melteth away for heaviness; sustain me according unto Thy word.

۲۹ 29 راه دروغ را از من دور کن و شریعت خود را به من عنایت فرما.

Remove from me the way of falsehood; and grant me Thy law graciously.

۳۰ 30 طریق راستی رااختیار کردم و داوریهای تو را پیش خود گذاشتم.

I have chosen the way of faithfulness; Thine ordinances have I set before me.

۳۱ 31 به شهادات تو چسبیدم. ای خداوند مرا خجل مساز.

I cleave unto Thy testimonies; O LORD, put me not to shame.

۳۲ 32 در طریق اوامر تو دوان خواهم رفت، وقتی که دل مرا وسعت دادی.

I will run the way of Thy commandments, for Thou dost enlarge my heart.

۳۳ 33 ‌ای خداوند طریق فرایض خود را به من بیاموز. پس آنها را تا به آخر نگاه خواهم داشت.

HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of Thy statutes; and I will keep it at every step.

۳۴ 34 مرا فهم بده و شریعت تو را نگاه خواهم داشت و آن را به تمامی دل خود حفظ خواهم نمود.

Give me understanding, that I keep Thy law and observe it with my whole heart.

۳۵ 35 مرا در سبیل اوامر خود سالک گردان زیرا که درآن رغبت دارم.

Make me to tread in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

۳۶ 36 دل مرا به شهادات خود مایل گردان و نه به سوی طمع.

Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

۳۷ 37 چشمانم را از دیدن بطالت برگردان و در طریق خود مرا زنده ساز.

Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, and quicken me in Thy ways.

۳۸ 38 کلام خود را بر بنده خویش استوار کن، که به ترس تو سپرده شده است.

Confirm Thy word unto Thy servant, which pertaineth unto the fear of Thee.

۳۹ 39 ننگ مرا که از آن می‌ترسم از من دور کن زیرا که داوریهای تو نیکواست.

Turn away my reproach which I dread; for Thine ordinances are good.

۴۰ 40 هان به وصایای تو اشتیاق دارم. به حسب عدالت خود مرا زنده ساز.

Behold, I have longed after Thy precepts; quicken me in Thy righteousness.

۴۱ 41 ‌ای خداوند رحمهای تو به من برسد ونجات تو به حسب کلام تو.

VAV. Let Thy mercies also come unto me, O LORD, even Thy salvation, according to Thy word;

۴۲ 42 تا بتوانم ملامت کننده خود را جواب دهم زیرا بر کلام تو توکل دارم.

That I may have an answer for him that taunteth me; for I trust in Thy word.

۴۳ 43 و کلام راستی را از دهانم بالکل مگیرزیرا که به داوریهای تو امیدوارم

And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I hope in Thine ordinances;

۴۴ 44 و شریعت تورا دائم نگاه خواهم داشت تا ابدالاباد.

So shall I observe Thy law continually for ever and ever;

۴۵ 45 و به آزادی راه خواهم رفت زیرا که وصایای تو را طلبیده‌ام.

And I will walk at ease, for I have sought Thy precepts;

۴۶ 46 و در شهادات تو به حضور پادشاهان سخن خواهم گفت و خجل نخواهم شد.

I will also speak of Thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed.

۴۷ 47 و ازوصایای تو تلذذ خواهم یافت که آنها را دوست می‌دارم.

And I will delight myself in Thy commandments, which I have loved.

۴۸ 48 و دستهای خود را به اوامر تو که دوست می‌دارم بر خواهم افراشت و در فرایض تو تفکر خواهم نمود.

I will lift up my hands also unto Thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in Thy statutes.

۴۹ 49 کلام خود را با بنده خویش به یاد آور که مرا بر آن امیدوار گردانیدی.

ZAIN. Remember the word unto Thy servant, because Thou hast made me to hope.

۵۰ 50 این در مصیبتم تسلی من است زیرا قول تو مرا زنده ساخت.

This is my comfort in my affliction, that Thy word hath quickened me.

۵۱ 51 متکبران مرا بسیار استهزا کردند، لیکن ازشریعت تو رو نگردانیدم.

The proud have had me greatly in derision; yet have I not turned aside from Thy law.

۵۲ 52 ‌ای خداوندداوریهای تو را از قدیم به یاد آوردم و خویشتن راتسلی دادم.

I have remembered Thine ordinances which are of old, O LORD, and have comforted myself.

۵۳ 53 حدت خشم مرا در‌گرفته است، به‌سبب شریرانی که شریعت تو را ترک کرده‌اند.

Burning indignation hath taken hold upon me, because of the wicked that forsake Thy law.

۵۴ 54 فرایض تو سرودهای من گردید، در خانه غربت من.

Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

۵۵ 55 ‌ای خداوند نام تو را در شب به یادآوردم و شریعت تو را نگاه داشتم.

I have remembered Thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have observed Thy law.

۵۶ 56 این بهره من گردید، زیرا که وصایای تو را نگاه داشتم.

This I have had, that I have kept Thy precepts.

۵۷ 57 خداوند نصیب من است. گفتم که کلام تو رانگاه خواهم داشت.

HETH. My portion is the LORD, I have said that I would observe Thy words.

۵۸ 58 رضامندی تو را به تمامی دل خود طلبیدم. به حسب کلام خود بر من رحم فرما.

I have entreated Thy favour with my whole heart; be gracious unto me according to Thy word.

۵۹ 59 در راههای خود تفکر کردم و پایهای خود را به شهادات تو مایل ساختم.

I considered my ways, and turned my feet unto Thy testimonies.

۶۰ 60 شتابیدم ودرنگ نکردم تا اوامر تو را نگاه دارم.

I made haste, and delayed not, to observe Thy commandments.

۶۱ 61 ریسمانهای شریران مرا احاطه کرد، لیکن شریعت تو را فراموش نکردم.

The bands of the wicked have enclosed me; but I have not forgotten Thy law.

۶۲ 62 در نصف شب برخاستم تا تو را حمد گویم برای داوریهای عدالت تو.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Thee because of Thy righteous ordinances.

۶۳ 63 من همه ترسندگانت را رفیق هستم، و آنانی را که وصایای تو را نگاه می‌دارند.

I am a companion of all them that fear Thee, and of them that observe Thy precepts.

۶۴ 64 ‌ای خداوند زمین از رحمت تو پر است. فرایض خودرا به من بیاموز.

The earth, O LORD, is full of Thy mercy; teach me Thy statutes.

۶۵ 65 با بنده خود احسان نمودی، ای خداوندموافق کلام خویش.

TETH. Thou hast dealt well with Thy servant, O LORD, according unto Thy word.

۶۶ 66 خردمندی نیکو و معرفت را به من بیاموز زیرا که به اوامر تو ایمان آوردم.

Teach me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed Thy commandments.

۶۷ 67 قبل از آنکه مصیبت را ببینم من گمراه شدم لیکن الان کلام تو را نگاه داشتم.

Before I was afflicted, I did err; but now I observe Thy word.

۶۸ 68 تو نیکو هستی و نیکویی می‌کنی. فرایض خود را به من بیاموز.

Thou art good, and doest good; teach me Thy statutes.

۶۹ 69 متکبران بر من دروغ بستند. و اما من به تمامی دل وصایای تو را نگاه داشتم.

The proud have forged a lie against me; but I with my whole heart will keep Thy precepts.

۷۰ 70 دل ایشان مثل پیه فربه است. و اما من در شریعت تو تلذذمی یابم.

Their heart is gross like fat; but I delight in Thy law.

۷۱ 71 مرا نیکو است که مصیبت را دیدم، تافرایض تو را بیاموزم.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted, in order that I might learn Thy statutes.

۷۲ 72 شریعت دهان تو برای من بهتر است از هزاران طلا و نقره.

The law of Thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

۷۳ 73 دستهای تو مرا ساخته و آفریده است. مرافهیم گردان تا اوامر تو را بیاموزم.

JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding, that I may learn Thy commandments.

۷۴ 74 ترسندگان توچون مرا بینند شادمان گردند زیرا به کلام توامیدوار هستم.

They that fear Thee shall see me and be glad, because I have hope in Thy word.

۷۵ 75 ‌ای خداوند دانسته‌ام که داوریهای تو عدل است، و بر‌حق مرا مصیبت داده‌ای.

I know, O LORD, that Thy judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness Thou hast afflicted me.

۷۶ 76 پس رحمت تو برای تسلی من بشود، موافق کلام تو با بنده خویش.

Let, I pray Thee, Thy lovingkindness be ready to comfort me, according to Thy promise unto Thy servant.

۷۷ 77 رحمت های توبه من برسد تا زنده شوم زیرا که شریعت تو تلذذمن است.

Let Thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for Thy law is my delight.

۷۸ 78 متکبران خجل شوند زیرا به دروغ مرا اذیت رسانیدند. و اما من در وصایای تو تفکرمی کنم.

Let the proud be put to shame, for they have distorted my cause with falsehood; but I will meditate in Thy precepts.

۷۹ 79 ترسندگان تو به من رجوع کنند و آنانی که شهادات تو را می‌دانند.

Let those that fear Thee return unto me, and they that know Thy testimonies.

۸۰ 80 دل من در فرایض تو کامل شود، تا خجل نشوم.

Let my heart be undivided in Thy statutes, in order that I may not be put to shame.

۸۱ 81 جان من برای نجات تو کاهیده می‌شود. لیکن به کلام تو امیدوار هستم.

CAPH. My soul pineth for Thy salvation; in Thy word do I hope.

۸۲ 82 چشمان من برای کلام تو تار گردیده است و می‌گویم کی مراتسلی خواهی داد.

Mine eyes fail for Thy word, saying: 'When wilt Thou comfort me?'

۸۳ 83 زیرا که مثل مشک در دودگردیده‌ام. لیکن فرایض تو را فراموش نکرده‌ام.

For I am become like a wine-skin in the smoke; yet do I not forget Thy statutes.

۸۴ 84 چند است روزهای بنده تو؟ و کی بر جفاکنندگانم داوری خواهی نمود؟

How many are the days of Thy servant? When wilt Thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

۸۵ 85 متکبران برای من حفره‌ها زدند زیرا که موافق شریعت تونیستند.

The proud have digged pits for me, which is not according to Thy law.

۸۶ 86 تمامی اوامر تو امین است. بر من ناحق جفا کردند. پس مرا امداد فرما.

All Thy commandments are faithful; they persecute me for nought; help Thou me.

۸۷ 87 نزدیک بود که مرا از زمین نابود سازند. اما من وصایای تو را ترک نکردم.

They had almost consumed me upon earth; but as for me, I forsook not Thy precepts.

۸۸ 88 به حسب رحمت خود مرا زنده ساز تاشهادات دهان تو را نگاه دارم.

Quicken me after Thy lovingkindness, and I will observe the testimony of Thy mouth.

۸۹ 89 ‌ای خداوند کلام تو تا ابدالاباد در آسمانهاپایدار است.

LAMED. For ever, O LORD, Thy word standeth fast in heaven.

۹۰ 90 امانت تو نسلا بعد نسل است. زمین را آفریده‌ای و پایدار می‌ماند.

Thy faithfulness is unto all generations; Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.

۹۱ 91 برای داوریهای تو تا امروز ایستاده‌اند زیرا که همه بنده تو هستند.

They stand this day according to Thine ordinances; for all things are Thy servants.

۹۲ 92 اگر شریعت تو تلذذ من نمی بود، هرآینه در مذلت خود هلاک می‌شدم.

Unless Thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

۹۳ 93 وصایای تو را تا به ابد فراموش نخواهم کردزیرا به آنها مرا زنده ساخته‌ای.

I will never forget Thy precepts; for with them Thou hast quickened me.

۹۴ 94 من از آن توهستم مرا نجات ده زیرا که وصایای تو را طلبیدم.

I am Thine, save me; for I have sought Thy precepts.

۹۵ 95 شریران برای من انتظار کشیدند تا مرا هلاک کنند. لیکن در شهادات تو تامل می‌کنم.

The wicked have waited for me to destroy me; but I will consider Thy testimonies.

۹۶ 96 برای هر کمالی انتهایی دیدم، لیکن حکم تو بی‌نهایت وسیع است.

I have seen an end to every purpose; but Thy commandment is exceeding broad.

۹۷ 97 شریعت تو را چقدر دوست می‌دارم.

MEM. O how love I Thy law! It is my meditation all the day.

۹۸ 98 اوامر تو مرا ازدشمنانم حکیم تر ساخته است زیرا که همیشه نزد من می‌باشد.

Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

۹۹ 99 از جمیع معلمان خود فهیم ترشدم زیرا که شهادات تو تفکر من است.

I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Thy testimonies are my (meditation)

۱۰۰ 100 ازمشایخ خردمندتر شدم زیرا که وصایای تو رانگاه داشتم.

I understand more than mine elders, because I have keep Thy precepts.

۱۰۱ 101 پایهای خود را از هر راه بد نگاه داشتم تا آن که کلام تو را حفظ کنم.

I have refrained my feet from every evil way, in order that I might observe Thy word.

۱۰۲ 102 ازداوریهای تو رو برنگردانیدم، زیرا که تو مرا تعلیم دادی.

I have not turned aside from Thine ordinances; for Thou hast instructed me.

۱۰۳ 103 کلام تو به مذاق من چه شیرین است وبه دهانم از عسل شیرین تر.

How sweet are Thy words unto my palate! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

۱۰۴ 104 از وصایای توفطانت را تحصیل کردم. بنابراین هر راه دروغ رامکروه می‌دارم.

From Thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

۱۰۵ 105 کلام تو برای پایهای من چراغ، و برای راههای من نور است.

NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

۱۰۶ 106 قسم خوردم و آن راوفا خواهم نمود که داوریهای عدالت تو را نگاه خواهم داشت.

I have sworn, and have confirmed it, to observe Thy righteous ordinances.

۱۰۷ 107 بسیار ذلیل شده‌ام. ای خداوند، موافق کلام خود مرا زنده ساز!

I am afflicted very much; quicken me, O LORD, according unto Thy word.

۱۰۸ 108 ‌ای خداوند هدایای تبرعی دهان مرا منظور فرما وداوریهای خود را به من بیاموز.

Accept, I beseech Thee, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me Thine ordinances.

۱۰۹ 109 جان من همیشه در کف من است، لیکن شریعت تو رافراموش نمی کنم.

My soul is continually in my hand; yet have I not forgotten Thy law.

۱۱۰ 110 شریران برای من دام گذاشته‌اند، اما از وصایای تو گمراه نشدم.

The wicked have laid a snare for me; yet went I not astray from Thy precepts.

۱۱۱ 111 شهادات تو را تا به ابد میراث خود ساخته‌ام زیرا که آنها شادمانی دل من است.

Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

۱۱۲ 112 دل خود رابرای بجا آوردن فرایض تو مایل ساختم، تاابدالاباد و تا نهایت.

I have inclined my heart to perform Thy statutes, for ever, at every step.

۱۱۳ 113 مردمان دو رو را مکروه داشته‌ام، لیکن شریعت تو را دوست می‌دارم.

SAMECH. I hate them that are of a double mind; but Thy law do I love.

۱۱۴ 114 ستر و سپر من تو هستی. به کلام تو انتظار می‌کشم.

Thou art my covert and my shield; in Thy word do I hope.

۱۱۵ 115 ‌ای بدکاران، از من دور شوید! و اوامر خدای خویش را نگاه خواهم داشت.

Depart from me, ye evildoers; that I may keep the commandments of my God.

۱۱۶ 116 مرا به حسب کلام خود تایید کن تا زنده شوم و از امید خود خجل نگردم.

Uphold me according unto Thy word, that I may live; and put me not to shame in my hope.

۱۱۷ 117 مرا تقویت کن تا رستگار گردم و برفرایض تو دائم نظر نمایم.

Support Thou me, and I shall be saved; and I will occupy myself with Thy statutes continually.

۱۱۸ 118 همه کسانی را که از فرایض تو گمراه شده‌اند، حقیر شمرده‌ای زیراکه مکر ایشان دروغ است.

Thou hast made light of all them that err from Thy statutes; for their deceit is vain.

۱۱۹ 119 جمیع شریران زمین را مثل درد هلاک می‌کنی. بنابراین شهادات تو را دوست می‌دارم.

Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross; therefore I love Thy testimonies.

۱۲۰ 120 موی بدن من از خوف تو برخاسته است و از داوریهای تو ترسیدم.

My flesh shuddereth for fear of Thee; and I am afraid of Thy judgments.

۱۲۱ 121 داد و عدالت را به‌جا آوردم. مرا به ظلم کنندگانم تسلیم منما.

AIN. I have done justice and righteousness; leave me not to mine oppressors.

۱۲۲ 122 برای سعادت بنده خود ضامن شو تا متکبران بر من ظلم نکنند.

Be surety for Thy servant for good; let not the proud oppress me.

۱۲۳ 123 چشمانم برای نجات تو تار شده است و برای کلام عدالت تو.

Mine eyes fail for Thy salvation, and for Thy righteous word.

۱۲۴ 124 با بنده خویش موافق رحمانیتت عمل نما و فرایض خود را به من بیاموز.

Deal with Thy servant according unto Thy mercy, and teach me Thy statutes.

۱۲۵ 125 من بنده تو هستم. مرا فهیم گردان تاشهادات تو را دانسته باشم.

I am Thy servant, give me understanding, that I may know Thy testimonies.

۱۲۶ 126 وقت است که خداوند عمل کند زیرا که شریعت تو را باطل نموده‌اند.

It is time for the LORD to work; they have made void Thy law.

۱۲۷ 127 بنابراین، اوامر تو را دوست می‌دارم، زیادتر از طلا و زر خالص.

Therefore I love Thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.

۱۲۸ 128 بنابراین، همه وصایای تو را در هر چیز راست می‌دانم، وهر راه دروغ را مکروه می‌دارم.

Therefore I esteem all Thy precepts concerning all things to be right; every false way I hate.

۱۲۹ 129 شهادات تو عجیب است. ازین سبب جان من آنها را نگاه می‌دارد.

PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful; therefore doth my soul keep them.

۱۳۰ 130 کشف کلام تو نورمی بخشد و ساده دلان را فهیم می‌گرداند.

The opening of Thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

۱۳۱ 131 دهان خود را نیکو باز کرده، نفس زدم زیرا که مشتاق وصایای تو بودم.

I opened wide my mouth, and panted; for I longed for Thy commandments.

۱۳۲ 132 بر من نظر کن و کرم فرما، برحسب عادت تو به آنانی که نام تو رادوست می‌دارند.

Turn Thee towards me, and be gracious unto me, as is Thy wont to do unto those that love Thy name.

۱۳۳ 133 قدم های مرا در کلام خودت پایدار ساز، تا هیچ بدی بر من تسلط نیابد.

Order my footsteps by Thy word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

۱۳۴ 134 مرا از ظلم انسان خلاصی ده، تا وصایای تورا نگاه دارم.

Redeem me from the oppression of man, and I will observe Thy precepts.

۱۳۵ 135 روی خود را بر بنده خود روشن ساز، و فرایض خود را به من بیاموز.

Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant; and teach me Thy statutes.

۱۳۶ 136 نهرهای آب از چشمانم جاری است زیرا که شریعت تو رانگاه نمی دارند.

Mine eyes run down with rivers of water, because they observe not Thy law.

۱۳۷ 137 ‌ای خداوند تو عادل هستی و داوریهای تو راست است.

TZADE. Righteous art Thou, O LORD, and upright are Thy judgments.

۱۳۸ 138 شهادات خود را به راستی امر فرمودی و به امانت الی نهایت.

Thou hast commanded Thy testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.

۱۳۹ 139 غیرت من مرا هلاک کرده است زیرا که دشمنان من کلام تورا فراموش کرده‌اند.

My zeal hath undone me, because mine adversaries have forgotten Thy words.

۱۴۰ 140 کلام تو بی‌نهایت مصفی است و بنده تو آن را دوست می‌دارد.

Thy word is tried to the uttermost, and Thy servant loveth it.

۱۴۱ 141 من کوچک و حقیر هستم، اما وصایای تو را فراموش نکردم.

I am small and despised; yet have I not forgotten Thy precepts.

۱۴۲ 142 عدالت تو عدل است تا ابدالاباد وشریعت تو راست است.

Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy law is the truth.

۱۴۳ 143 تنگی و ضیق مرا درگرفته است، اما اوامر تو تلذذ من است.

Trouble and anguish have overtaken me; yet Thy commandments are my delight.

۱۴۴ 144 شهادات تو عادل است تا ابدالاباد. مرا فهیم گردان تا زنده شوم.

Thy testimonies are righteous for ever; give me understanding, and I shall live.

۱۴۵ 145 به تمامی دل خوانده‌ام. ای خداوند مراجواب ده تا فرایض تو را نگاه دارم!

KOPH. I have called with my whole heart; answer me, O LORD; I will keep Thy statutes.

۱۴۶ 146 تو راخوانده‌ام، پس مرا نجات ده. و شهادات تو را نگاه خواهم داشت.

I have called Thee, save me, and I will observe Thy testimonies.

۱۴۷ 147 بر طلوع فجر سبقت جسته، استغاثه کردم، و کلام تو را انتظار کشیدم.

I rose early at dawn, and cried; I hoped in Thy word.

۱۴۸ 148 چشمانم بر پاسهای شب سبقت جست، تا درکلام تو تفکر بنمایم.

Mine eyes forestalled the night-watches, that I might meditate in Thy word.

۱۴۹ 149 به حسب رحمت خود آواز مرا بشنو. ای خداوند موافق داوریهای خودمرا زنده ساز.

Hear my voice according unto Thy lovingkindness; quicken me, O LORD, as Thou art wont.

۱۵۰ 150 آنانی که در‌پی خباثت می‌روند، نزدیک می‌آیند، و از شریعت تو دورمی باشند.

They draw nigh that follow after wickedness; they are far from Thy law.

۱۵۱ 151 ‌ای خداوند تو نزدیک هستی وجمیع اوامر تو راست است.

Thou art nigh, O LORD; and all Thy commandments are truth.

۱۵۲ 152 شهادات تو را اززمان پیش دانسته‌ام که آنها را بنیان کرده‌ای تاابدالاباد.

Of old have I known from Thy testimonies that Thou hast founded them for ever.

۱۵۳ 153 بر مذلت من نظر کن و مرا خلاصی ده زیراکه شریعت تو را فراموش نکرده‌ام.

RESH. O see mine affliction, and rescue me; for I do not forget Thy law.

۱۵۴ 154 در دعوای من دادرسی فرموده، مرا نجات ده و به حسب کلام خویش مرا زنده ساز.

Plead Thou my cause, and redeem me; quicken me according to Thy word.

۱۵۵ 155 نجات از شریران دور است زیرا که فرایض تو را نمی طلبند.

Salvation is far from the wicked; for they seek not Thy statutes.

۱۵۶ 156 ‌ای خداوند، رحمت های تو بسیار است. به حسب داوریهای خود مرا زنده ساز.

Great are Thy compassions, O LORD; quicken me as Thou art wont.

۱۵۷ 157 جفاکنندگان و خصمان من بسیارند. اما ازشهادات تو رو برنگردانیدم.

Many are my persecutors and mine adversaries; yet have I not turned aside from Thy testimonies.

۱۵۸ 158 خیانت کاران رادیدم و مکروه داشتم زیرا کلام تو را نگاه نمی دارند.

I beheld them that were faithless, and strove with them; because they observed not Thy word.

۱۵۹ 159 ببین که وصایای تو را دوست می‌دارم. ای خداوند، به حسب رحمت خود مرازنده ساز!

O see how I love Thy precepts; quicken me, O LORD, according to Thy lovingkindness.

۱۶۰ 160 جمله کلام تو راستی است وتمامی داوری عدالت تو تا ابدالاباد است.

The beginning of Thy word is truth; and all Thy righteous ordinance endureth for ever.

۱۶۱ 161 سروران بی‌جهت بر من جفا کردند. اما دل من از کلام تو ترسان است.

SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart standeth in awe of Thy words.

۱۶۲ 162 من در کلام توشادمان هستم، مثل کسی‌که غنیمت وافر پیدانموده باشد.

I rejoice at Thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

۱۶۳ 163 از دروغ کراهت و نفرت دارم. اماشریعت تو را دوست می‌دارم.

I hate and abhor falsehood; Thy law do I love.

۱۶۴ 164 هر روز تو راهفت مرتبه تسبیح می‌خوانم، برای داوریهای عدالت تو.

Seven times a day do I praise Thee, because of Thy righteous ordinances.

۱۶۵ 165 آنانی را که شریعت تو را دوست می دارند، سلامتی عظیم است و هیچ‌چیز باعث لغزش ایشان نخواهد شد.

Great peace have they that love Thy law; and there is no stumbling for them.

۱۶۶ 166 ‌ای خداوند، برای نجات تو امیدوار هستم و اوامر تو را بجا می‌آورم.

I have hoped for Thy salvation, O LORD, and have done Thy commandments.

۱۶۷ 167 جان من شهادات تو را نگاه داشته است و آنهارا بی‌نهایت دوست می‌دارم.

My soul hath observed Thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

۱۶۸ 168 وصایا وشهادات تو را نگاه داشته‌ام زیرا که تمام طریقهای من در مد نظر تو است.

I have observed Thy precepts and Thy testimonies; for all my ways are before Thee.

۱۶۹ 169 ‌ای خداوند، فریاد من به حضور تو برسد. به حسب کلام خود مرا فهیم گردان.

TAV. Let my cry come near before Thee, O LORD; give me understanding according to Thy word.

۱۷۰ 170 مناجات من به حضور تو برسد. به حسب کلام خود مراخلاصی ده.

Let my supplication come before Thee; deliver me according to Thy word.

۱۷۱ 171 لبهای من حمد تو را جاری کندزیرا فرایض خود را به من آموخته‌ای.

Let my lips utter praise: because Thou teachest me Thy statutes.

۱۷۲ 172 زبان من کلام تو را بسراید زیرا که تمام اوامر تو عدل است.

Let my tongue sing of Thy word; for all Thy commandments are righteousness.

۱۷۳ 173 دست تو برای اعانت من بشود زیرا که وصایای تو را برگزیده‌ام.

Let Thy hand be ready to help me; for I have chosen Thy precepts.

۱۷۴ 174 ‌ای خداوند برای نجات تو مشتاق بوده‌ام و شریعت تو تلذذ من است.

I have longed for Thy salvation, O LORD; and Thy law is my delight.

۱۷۵ 175 جان من زنده شود تا تو را تسبیح بخواند و داوریهای تو معاون من باشد.

Let my soul live, and it shall praise Thee; and let Thine ordinances help me.

۱۷۶ 176 مثل گوسفند گم شده، آواره گشتم. بنده خود را طلب نما، زیرا که اوامر تو را فراموش نکردم.

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Thy servant; for I have not forgotten Thy commandments.
