| ما را نی، ای خداوند! ما را نی، بلکه نام خود را جلال ده! به‌سبب رحمتت و به‌سبب راستی خویش. | ۱ 1 |
Not unto us, O YHWH, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
| امتها چرابگویند که «خدای ایشان الان کجاست؟» | ۲ 2 |
Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their Elohim?
| اماخدای ما در آسمانهاست. آنچه را که اراده نموده به عمل آورده است. | ۳ 3 |
But our Elohim is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
| بتهای ایشان نقره وطلاست، از صنعت دستهای انسان. | ۴ 4 |
Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
| آنها را دهان است و سخن نمی گویند. آنها را چشمهاست ونمی بینند. | ۵ 5 |
They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
| آنها را گوشهاست و نمی شنوند. آنهارا بینی است و نمی بویند. | ۶ 6 |
They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
| دستها دارند و لمس نمی کنند. و پایها و راه نمی روند. و به گلوی خودتنطق نمی نمایند. | ۷ 7 |
They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
| سازندگان آنها مثل آنهاهستند، و هر‌که بر آنها توکل دارد. | ۸ 8 |
They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
| ای اسرائیل بر خداوند توکل نما. او معاون وسپر ایشان است. | ۹ 9 |
O Israel, trust thou in YHWH: he is their help and their shield.
| ای خاندان هارون بر خداوندتوکل نمایید. او معاون و سپر ایشان است. | ۱۰ 10 |
O house of Aaron, trust in YHWH: he is their help and their shield.
| ای ترسندگان خداوند، بر خداوند توکل نمایید. او معاون و سپر ایشان است. | ۱۱ 11 |
Ye that fear YHWH, trust in YHWH: he is their help and their shield.
| خداوند ما را به یادآورده، برکت می‌دهد. خاندان اسرائیل را برکت خواهد داد و خاندان هارون را برکت خواهد داد. | ۱۲ 12 |
YHWH hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
| ترسندگان خداوند را برکت خواهد داد، چه کوچک و چه بزرگ. | ۱۳ 13 |
He will bless them that fear YHWH, both small and great.
| خداوند شما را ترقی خواهد داد، شما و فرزندان شما را. | ۱۴ 14 |
YHWH shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
| شمامبارک خداوند هستید که آسمان و زمین را آفرید. | ۱۵ 15 |
Ye are blessed of YHWH which made heaven and earth.
| آسمانها، آسمانهای خداوند است و اما زمین را به بنی آدم عطا فرمود. | ۱۶ 16 |
The heaven, even the heavens, are YHWH 's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
| مردگان نیستند که یاه را تسبیح می‌خوانند؛ و نه آنانی که به خاموشی فرو می‌روند. | ۱۷ 17 |
The dead praise not YHWH, neither any that go down into silence.
| لیکن ما یاه را متبارک خواهیم خواند، از الان و تا ابدالاباد. هللویاه! | ۱۸ 18 |
But we will bless YAH from this time forth and for evermore. Praise YHWH.
