۱ 1 ما را نی، ای خداوند! ما را نی، بلکه نام خود را جلال ده! به‌سبب رحمتت و به‌سبب راستی خویش.

Not vnto vs, O Lord, not vnto vs, but vnto thy Name giue the glorie, for thy louing mercie and for thy truethes sake.

۲ 2 امتها چرابگویند که «خدای ایشان الان کجاست؟»

Wherefore shall the heathen say, Where is nowe their God?

۳ 3 اماخدای ما در آسمانهاست. آنچه را که اراده نموده به عمل آورده است.

But our God is in heauen: he doeth what so euer he will.

۴ 4 بتهای ایشان نقره وطلاست، از صنعت دستهای انسان.

Their idoles are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens hands.

۵ 5 آنها را دهان است و سخن نمی گویند. آنها را چشمهاست ونمی بینند.

They haue a mouth and speake not: they haue eyes and see not.

۶ 6 آنها را گوشهاست و نمی شنوند. آنهارا بینی است و نمی بویند.

They haue eares and heare not: they haue noses and smelll not.

۷ 7 دستها دارند و لمس نمی کنند. و پایها و راه نمی روند. و به گلوی خودتنطق نمی نمایند.

They haue handes and touche not: they haue feete and walke not: neither make they a sound with their throte.

۸ 8 سازندگان آنها مثل آنهاهستند، و هر‌که بر آنها توکل دارد.

They that make them are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.

۹ 9 ‌ای اسرائیل بر خداوند توکل نما. او معاون وسپر ایشان است.

O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: for he is their helpe and their shielde.

۱۰ 10 ‌ای خاندان هارون بر خداوندتوکل نمایید. او معاون و سپر ایشان است.

O house of Aaron, trust ye in the Lord: for he is their helpe and their shielde.

۱۱ 11 ‌ای ترسندگان خداوند، بر خداوند توکل نمایید. او معاون و سپر ایشان است.

Ye that feare the Lord, trust in the Lord: for he is their helper and their shield.

۱۲ 12 خداوند ما را به یادآورده، برکت می‌دهد. خاندان اسرائیل را برکت خواهد داد و خاندان هارون را برکت خواهد داد.

The Lord hath bene mindfull of vs: he will blesse, he will blesse the house of Israel, he will blesse the house of Aaron.

۱۳ 13 ترسندگان خداوند را برکت خواهد داد، چه کوچک و چه بزرگ.

He will blesse them that feare the Lord, both small and great.

۱۴ 14 خداوند شما را ترقی خواهد داد، شما و فرزندان شما را.

The Lord will increase his graces towarde you, euen toward you and toward your children.

۱۵ 15 شمامبارک خداوند هستید که آسمان و زمین را آفرید.

Ye are blessed of the Lord, which made the heauen and the earth.

۱۶ 16 آسمانها، آسمانهای خداوند است و اما زمین را به بنی آدم عطا فرمود.

The heauens, euen the heauens are the Lordes: but he hath giuen the earth to the sonnes of men.

۱۷ 17 مردگان نیستند که یاه را تسبیح می‌خوانند؛ و نه آنانی که به خاموشی فرو می‌روند.

The dead prayse not the Lord, neither any that goe downe into the place of silence.

۱۸ 18 لیکن ما یاه را متبارک خواهیم خواند، از الان و تا ابدالاباد. هللویاه!

But we will prayse the Lord from henceforth and for euer. Prayse ye the Lord.
