۱ 1 هللویاه! ای بندگان خداوند، تسبیح بخوانید. نام خداوند را تسبیح بخوانید.

Praise ye Jehovah. Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah, Praise the name of Jehovah.

۲ 2 نام خداوند متبارک باد، از الان تاابدالاباد.

Blessed be the name of Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore.

۳ 3 از مطلع آفتاب تا مغرب آن، نام خداوند را تسبیح خوانده شود.

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same Jehovah’s name is to be praised.

۴ 4 خداوند برجمیع امتها متعال است و جلال وی فوق آسمانها.

Jehovah is high above all nations, And his glory above the heavens.

۵ 5 کیست مانند یهوه خدای ما که بر اعلی علیین نشسته است؟

Who is like unto Jehovah our God, That hath his seat on high,

۶ 6 و متواضع می‌شود تا نظرنماید بر آسمانها و بر زمین.

That humbleth himself to behold [The things that are] in heaven and in the earth?

۷ 7 که مسکین را ازخاک برمی دارد و فقیر را از مزبله برمی افرازد.

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth up the needy from the dunghill;

۸ 8 تااو را با بزرگان بنشاند یعنی با بزرگان قوم خویش.

That he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people.

۹ 9 زن نازاد را خانه نشین می‌سازد و مادر فرحناک فرزندان. هللویاه!

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, [And to be] a joyful mother of children. Praise ye Jehovah.
