مزامیر 107

۱ 1 خداوند را حمد بگویید زیرا که اونیکو است و رحمت او باقی است تا ابدالاباد.

Alleluia. Confess to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy is with every generation.

۲ 2 فدیه شدگان خداوند این را بگویند که ایشان را از دست دشمن فدیه داده است.

Let those who have been redeemed by the Lord say so: those whom he redeemed from the hand of the enemy and gathered from the regions,

۳ 3 وایشان را از بلدان جمع کرده، از مشرق و مغرب واز شمال و جنوب.

from the rising of the sun and its setting, from the north and from the sea.

۴ 4 در صحرا آواره شدند و دربادیه‌ای بی‌طریق و شهری برای سکونت نیافتند.

They wandered into solitude in a waterless place. They did not find the way of the city to be their dwelling place.

۵ 5 گرسنه و تشنه نیز شدند و جان ایشان در ایشان مستمند گردید.

They were hungry, and they were thirsty. Their soul fainted within them.

۶ 6 آنگاه در تنگی خود نزدخداوند فریاد برآوردند و ایشان را از تنگیهای ایشان رهایی بخشید.

And they cried out to the Lord in tribulation, and he rescued them in their necessity.

۷ 7 و ایشان را به راه مستقیم رهبری نمود، تا به شهری مسکون درآمدند.

And he led them in the right way, so that they might go forth to a city of habitation.

۸ 8 پس خداوند را به‌سبب رحمتش تشکرنمایند و به‌سبب کارهای عجیب وی با بنی آدم.

Let his mercies confess to the Lord, and let his miracles confess to the sons of men.

۹ 9 زیرا که جان آرزومند را سیر گردانید و جان گرسنه را از چیزهای نیکو پر ساخت.

For he has satisfied the empty soul, and he has satisfied the hungry soul with good things:

۱۰ 10 آنانی که در تاریکی و سایه موت نشسته بودند، که درمذلت و آهن بسته شده بودند.

those sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death, shackled by extreme poverty and by iron.

۱۱ 11 زیرا به کلام خدامخالفت نمودند و به نصیحت حضرت اعلی اهانت کردند.

For they exasperated the eloquence of God, and they irritated the deliberation of the Most High.

۱۲ 12 و او دل ایشان را به مشقت ذلیل ساخت. بلغزیدند و مدد کننده‌ای نبود.

And their heart was brought low with hardships. They were weakened, and there was no one to help them.

۱۳ 13 آنگاه در تنگی خود نزد خداوند فریاد برآوردند وایشان را از تنگیهای ایشان رهایی بخشید.

And they cried out to the Lord in their tribulation, and he freed them from their distress.

۱۴ 14 ایشان را از تاریکی و سایه موت بیرون آورد وبندهای ایشان را بگسست.

And he led them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and he broke apart their chains.

۱۵ 15 پس خداوند را به‌سبب رحمتش تشکرنمایند و به‌سبب کارهای عجیب او با بنی آدم.

Let his mercies confess to the Lord, and let his miracles confess to the sons of men.

۱۶ 16 زیرا که دروازه های برنجین را شکسته، وبندهای آهنین را پاره کرده است.

For he has crushed the gates of brass and broken the iron bars.

۱۷ 17 احمقان به‌سبب طریق شریرانه خود و به‌سبب گناهان خویش، خود را ذلیل ساختند.

He has taken them up, from the way of their iniquity. For they were brought low, because of their injustices.

۱۸ 18 جان ایشان هرقسم خوراک را مکروه داشت و به دروازه های موت نزدیک شدند.

Their soul abhorred all food, and they drew near even to the gates of death.

۱۹ 19 آنگاه در تنگی خود نزدخداوند فریاد برآوردند و ایشان را از تنگیهای ایشان رهایی بخشید.

And they cried out to the Lord in their tribulation, and he delivered them in their necessity.

۲۰ 20 کلام خود را فرستاده، ایشان را شفا بخشید و ایشان را از هلاکتهای ایشان رهانید.

He sent his word, and he healed them, and he rescued them from their utter destruction.

۲۱ 21 پس خداوند را به‌سبب رحمتش تشکرنمایند و به‌سبب کارهای عجیب او با بنی آدم.

Let his mercies confess to the Lord, and let his miracles confess to the sons of men.

۲۲ 22 و قربانی های تشکر را بگذرانند و اعمال وی رابه ترنم ذکر کنند.

And let them offer sacrifice with the sacrifice of praise, and let them announce his works in exultation.

۲۳ 23 آنانی که در کشتیها به دریارفتند، و در آبهای کثیر شغل کردند.

Those who descend to the sea in ships, making their livelihood in the great waters:

۲۴ 24 اینان کارهای خداوند را دیدند و اعمال عجیب او را درلجه‌ها.

these have seen the works of the Lord and his wonders in the deep.

۲۵ 25 او گفت پس باد تند را وزانید و امواج آن را برافراشت.

He spoke: and a windstorm stood up, and its waves were exalted.

۲۶ 26 به آسمانها بالا رفتند و به لجه‌ها فرود شدند و جان ایشان از سخنی گداخته گردید.

They ascend even to the heavens, and they descend even to the abyss. Their soul will waste away in distress.

۲۷ 27 سرگردان گشته، مثل مستان افتان وخیزان شدند و عقل ایشان تمام حیران گردید.

They were troubled, and they moved like a drunkard, and all their wisdom was consumed.

۲۸ 28 آنگاه در تنگی خود نزد خداوند فریادبرآوردند و ایشان را از تنگیهای ایشان رهایی بخشید.

And they cried out to the Lord in their tribulation, and he led them out of their distress.

۲۹ 29 طوفان را به آرامی ساکت ساخت که موجهایش ساکن گردید.

And he replaced the storm with a breeze, and its waves were stilled.

۳۰ 30 پس مسرور شدندزیرا که آسایش یافتند و ایشان را به بندر مرادایشان رسانید.

And they were joyful that it was stilled, and he led them into the haven that they desired.

۳۱ 31 پس خداوند را به‌سبب رحمتش تشکرنمایند و به‌سبب کارهای عجیب او با بنی آدم.

Let his mercies confess to the Lord, and let his miracles confess to the sons of men.

۳۲ 32 و او را در مجمع قوم متعال بخوانند و درمجلس مشایخ او را تسبیح بگویند.

And let them exalt him in the Church of the people, and praise him in the chair of the elders.

۳۳ 33 او نهرها رابه بادیه مبدل کرد و چشمه های آب را به زمین تشنه.

He has placed rivers in the desert and sources of water in dry places,

۳۴ 34 و زمین بارور را نیز به شوره زار، به‌سبب شرارت ساکنان آن.

a fruit-bearing land in the midst of brine, before the malice of those who dwell in it.

۳۵ 35 بادیه را به دریاچه آب مبدل کرد و زمین خشک را به چشمه های آب.

He has placed a desert in the midst of pools of waters, and a land without water in the midst of sources of water.

۳۶ 36 و گرسنگان را در آنجا ساکن ساخت تا شهری برای سکونت بنا نمودند.

And he has gathered the hungry together there, and they constructed a city of habitation.

۳۷ 37 و مزرعه‌ها کاشتند وتاکستانها غرس نمودند و حاصل غله به عمل آوردند.

And they sowed fields and planted vineyards, and they produced the fruit of nativity.

۳۸ 38 و ایشان را برکت داد تا به غایت کثیرشدند و بهایم ایشان را نگذارد کم شوند.

And he blessed them, and they were multiplied exceedingly. And he did not diminish their beasts of burden.

۳۹ 39 و بازکم گشتند و ذلیل شدند، از ظلم و شقاوت و حزن.

And they became few, and they were afflicted by the tribulation of evils and of sorrow.

۴۰ 40 ذلت را بر روسا می‌ریزد و ایشان را در بادیه‌ای که راه ندارد آواره می‌سازد.

Contempt was poured over their leaders, and he caused them to wander in an impassable place, and not on the way.

۴۱ 41 اما مسکین را ازمشقتش برمی افروزد و قبیله‌ها را مثل گله هابرایش پیدا می‌کند.

And he helped the poor out of destitution, and he stationed families like sheep.

۴۲ 42 صالحان این را دیده، شادمان می‌شوند و تمامی شرارت دهان خود راخواهد بست.

The upright will see, and they will rejoice. And every iniquity will block its mouth.

۴۳ 43 کیست خردمند تا بدین چیزهاتفکر نماید؟ که ایشان رحمت های خداوند راخواهند فهمید.

Who is wise and will keep these things? And who will understand the mercies of the Lord?
