| مزمور داود ای جان من خداوند را متبارک بخوان! و هرچه در درون من است نام قدوس او را متبارک خواند. | ۱ 1 |
`Of Dauid. Mi soule, blesse thou the Lord; and alle thingis that ben with ynne me, blesse his hooli name.
| ای جان من خداوند را متبارک بخوان! و جمیع احسان های اورا فراموش مکن! | ۲ 2 |
Mi soule, blesse thou the Lord; and nyle thou foryete alle the yeldyngis of him.
| که تمام گناهانت را می‌آمرزدو همه مرض های تو را شفا می‌بخشد. | ۳ 3 |
Which doith merci to alle thi wickidnessis; which heelith alle thi sijknessis.
| که حیات تو را از هاویه فدیه می‌دهد و تاج رحمت و رافت را بر سر تو می‌نهد. | ۴ 4 |
Which ayenbieth thi lijf fro deth; which corowneth thee in merci and merciful doyngis.
| که جان تو را به چیزهای نیکو سیر می‌کند تا جوانی تو مثل عقاب تازه شود. | ۵ 5 |
Which fillith thi desijr in goodis; thi yongthe schal be renulid as the yongthe of an egle.
| خداوند عدالت را به‌جا می‌آورد و انصاف رابرای جمیع مظلومان. | ۶ 6 |
The Lord doynge mercies; and doom to alle men suffringe wrong.
| طریق های خویش را به موسی تعلیم داد و عمل های خود را به بنی‌اسرائیل. | ۷ 7 |
He made hise weies knowun to Moises; hise willis to the sones of Israel.
| خداوند رحمان و کریم است دیرغضب و بسیار رحیم. | ۸ 8 |
The Lord is merciful doer, and merciful in wille; longe abidinge, and myche merciful.
| تا به ابد محاکمه نخواهدنمود و خشم را همیشه نگاه نخواهد داشت. | ۹ 9 |
He schal not be wrooth with outen ende; and he schal not thretne with outen ende.
| باما موافق گناهان ما عمل ننموده، و به ما به حسب خطایای ما جزا نداده است. | ۱۰ 10 |
He dide not to vs aftir oure synnes; nether he yeldide to vs aftir oure wickidnessis.
| زیرا آنقدر که آسمان از زمین بلندتر است، به همان قدر رحمت او بر ترسندگانش عظیم است. | ۱۱ 11 |
For bi the hiynesse of heuene fro erthe; he made strong his merci on men dredynge hym.
| به اندازه‌ای که مشرق از مغرب دور است، به همان اندازه گناهان ما را از ما دور کرده است. | ۱۲ 12 |
As myche as the eest is fer fro the west; he made fer oure wickidnessis fro vs.
| چنانکه پدر برفرزندان خود رئوف است همچنان خداوند برترسندگان خود رافت می‌نماید. | ۱۳ 13 |
As a fadir hath merci on sones, the Lord hadde merci on men dredynge him;
| زیرا جبلت مارا می‌داند و یاد می‌دارد که ما خاک هستیم. | ۱۴ 14 |
for he knewe oure makyng.
| واما انسان، ایام او مثل گیاه است، مثل گل صحراهمچنان می‌شکفد. | ۱۵ 15 |
He bithouyte that we ben dust, a man is as hey; his dai schal flowre out so as a flour of the feeld.
| زیرا که باد بر آن می‌وزد ونابود می‌گردد و مکانش دیگر آن را نمی شناسد. | ۱۶ 16 |
For the spirit schal passe in hym, and schal not abide; and schal no more knowe his place.
| لیکن رحمت خداوند بر ترسندگانش ازازل تا ابدالاباد است و عدالت او بر فرزندان فرزندان. | ۱۷ 17 |
But the merci of the Lord is fro with out bigynnyng, and til in to with outen ende; on men dredinge hym. And his riytfulnesse is in to the sones of sones;
| بر آنانی که عهد او را حفظ می‌کنند وفرایض او را یاد می‌دارند تا آنها را به‌جا آورند. | ۱۸ 18 |
to hem that kepen his testament. And ben myndeful of hise comaundementis; to do tho.
| خداوند تخت خود را بر آسمانها استوارنموده، و سلطنت او بر همه مسلط است. | ۱۹ 19 |
The Lord hath maad redi his seete in heuene; and his rewme schal be lord of alle.
| خداوند را متبارک خوانید، ای فرشتگان او که در قوت زورآورید و کلام او را به‌جا می‌آورید وآواز کلام او را گوش می‌گیرید! | ۲۰ 20 |
Aungels of the Lord, blesse ye the Lord; ye myyti in vertu, doynge his word, to here the vois of hise wordis.
| ای جمیع لشکرهای او خداوند را متبارک خوانید! و‌ای خادمان او که اراده او را بجا می‌آورید! | ۲۱ 21 |
Alle vertues of the Lord, blesse ye the Lord; ye mynystris of hym that doen his wille.
| ای همه کارهای خداوند او را متبارک خوانید! در همه مکان های سلطنت او. ای جان من خداوند رامتبارک بخوان! | ۲۲ 22 |
Alle werkis of the Lord, blesse ye the Lord, in ech place of his lordschipe; my soule, blesse thou the Lord.
