Aionian Verses
| وهمه پسران و همه دخترانش به تسلی اوبرخاستند. اما تسلی نپذیرفت، و گفت: «سوگوارنزد پسر خود به گور فرود می‌روم.» پس پدرش برای وی همی گریست. (Sheol ) |
All his sons and daughters tried to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. “No,” he said. “I will go down to Sheol mourning for my son.” So his father wept for him. (Sheol )
| گفت: «پسرم با شما نخواهد آمد زیرا که برادرش مرده است، و او تنها باقی است. و هر گاه در راهی که می‌روید زیانی بدو رسد، همانامویهای سفید مرا با حزن به گور فرود خواهیدبرد.» (Sheol ) |
But Jacob replied, “My son will not go down there with you, for his brother is dead, and he alone is left. If any harm comes to him on your journey, you will bring my gray hair down to Sheol in sorrow.” (Sheol )
| اگر این را نیز ازنزد من ببرید، و زیانی بدو رسد، همانا موی سفیدمرا به حزن به گور فرود خواهید برد.” (Sheol ) |
Now if you also take this one from me and harm comes to him, you will bring my gray hair down to Sheol in sorrow.’ (Sheol )
| واقع خواهد شد که چون ببیند پسر نیست، او خواهد مرد. و غلامانت موی سفید غلامت، پدرخود را به حزن به گور فرود خواهند برد. (Sheol ) |
sees that the boy is not with us, he will die. Then your servants will have brought the gray hair of your servant our father down to Sheol in sorrow. (Sheol )
| و اما اگر خداوند چیزتازه‌ای بنماید و زمین دهان خود را گشاده، ایشان را با جمیع مایملک ایشان ببلعد که به گور زنده فرود روند، آنگاه بدانید که این مردمان خداوند رااهانت نموده‌اند.» (Sheol ) |
But if the LORD brings about something unprecedented, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them and all that belongs to them so that they go down alive into Sheol, then you will know that these men have treated the LORD with contempt.” (Sheol )
| و ایشان با هرچه به ایشان تعلق داشت، زنده به گور فرورفتند، و زمین برایشان به هم آمد که از میان جماعت هلاک شدند. (Sheol ) |
They went down alive into Sheol with all they owned. The earth closed over them, and they vanished from the assembly. (Sheol )
| زیرا آتشی در غضب من افروخته شده. و تاهاویه پایین‌ترین شعله‌ور شده است. و زمین را باحاصلش می‌سوزاند. و اساس کوهها را آتش خواهد زد. (Sheol ) |
For a fire has been kindled by My anger, and it burns to the depths of Sheol; it consumes the earth and its produce, and scorches the foundations of the mountains. (Sheol )
| خداوند می‌میراند و زنده می‌کند؛ به قبر فرودمی آورد و برمی خیزاند. (Sheol ) |
The LORD brings death and gives life; He brings down to Sheol and raises up. (Sheol )
| رسنهای گور مرا احاطه نمودند. دامهای موت مرا دریافتند. (Sheol ) |
The cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me. (Sheol )
| پس موافق حکمت خود عمل نما و مباد که موی سفید او به سلامتی به قبر فرو رود. (Sheol ) |
So act according to your wisdom, and do not let his gray head go down to Sheol in peace. (Sheol )
| پس الان او را بی‌گناه مشمارزیرا که مرد حکیم هستی و آنچه را که با او بایدکرد، می‌دانی. پس مویهای سفید او را به قبر باخون فرود آور.» (Sheol ) |
Now therefore, do not hold him guiltless, for you are a wise man. You know what you ought to do to him to bring his gray head down to Sheol in blood.” (Sheol )
| مثل ابر که پراکنده شده، نابود می‌شود. همچنین کسی‌که به گور فرو می‌رود، برنمی آید. (Sheol ) |
As a cloud vanishes and is gone, so he who goes down to Sheol does not come back up. (Sheol )
| مثل بلندیهای آسمان است؛ چه خواهی کرد؟ گودتر از هاویه است؛ چه توانی دانست؟ (Sheol ) |
They are higher than the heavens—what can you do? They are deeper than Sheol—what can you know? (Sheol )
| کاش که مرا در هاویه پنهان کنی؛ و تا غضبت فرو نشیند، مرا مستور سازی؛ و برایم زمانی تعیین نمایی تا مرا به یاد آوری. (Sheol ) |
If only You would hide me in Sheol and conceal me until Your anger has passed! If only You would appoint a time for me and then remember me! (Sheol )
| وقتی که امید دارم هاویه خانه من می‌باشد، وبستر خود را در تاریکی می‌گسترانم، (Sheol ) |
If I look for Sheol as my home, if I spread out my bed in darkness, (Sheol )
| تابندهای هاویه فرو می‌رود، هنگامی که با هم درخاک نزول (نماییم ).» (Sheol ) |
Will it go down to the gates of Sheol? Will we go down together into the dust?” (Sheol )
| روزهای خود را در سعادتمندی صرف می‌کنند، و به لحظه‌ای به هاویه فرودمی روند. (Sheol ) |
They spend their days in prosperity and go down to Sheol in peace. (Sheol )
| چنانکه خشکی و گرمی آب برف را نابود می‌سازد، همچنین هاویه خطاکاران را. (Sheol ) |
As drought and heat consume the melting snow, so Sheol steals those who have sinned. (Sheol )
| هاویه به حضور او عریان است، وابدون را ستری نیست. (Sheol ) |
Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering. (Sheol )
| زیرا که در موت ذکرتو نمی باشد! در هاویه کیست که تو را حمدگوید؟ (Sheol ) |
For there is no mention of You in death; who can praise You from Sheol? (Sheol )
| شریران به هاویه خواهند برگشت و جمیع امت هایی که خدا رافراموش می‌کنند، (Sheol ) |
The wicked will return to Sheol— all the nations who forget God. (Sheol )
| زیرا جانم را در عالم اموات ترک نخواهی کرد، و قدوس خود را نخواهی گذاشت که فسادرا بیند. (Sheol ) |
For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay. (Sheol )
| رسنهای گور دور مراگرفته بود و دامهای موت پیش روی من درآمده. (Sheol ) |
The cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me. (Sheol )
| ای خداوندجانم را از حفره برآوردی. مرا زنده ساختی تا به هاویه فرونروم. (Sheol ) |
O LORD, You pulled me up from Sheol; You spared me from descending into the Pit. (Sheol )
| ای خداوند خجل نشوم چونکه تو را خوانده‌ام. شریران خجل شوندو در حفره خاموش باشند. (Sheol ) |
O LORD, let me not be ashamed, for I have called on You. Let the wicked be put to shame; let them lie silent in Sheol. (Sheol )
| مثل گوسفندان درهاویه رانده می‌شوند و موت ایشان را شبانی می‌کند و صبحگاهان راستان بر ایشان حکومت خواهند کرد و جمال ایشان در هاویه پوسیده خواهد شد تا مسکنی برای آن نباشد. (Sheol ) |
Like sheep they are destined for Sheol. Death will be their shepherd. The upright will rule them in the morning, and their form will decay in Sheol, far from their lofty abode. (Sheol )
| لیکن خدا جان مرا از دست هاویه نجات خواهد دادزیرا که مرا خواهد گرفت، سلاه. (Sheol ) |
But God will redeem my life from Sheol, for He will surely take me to Himself. (Sheol )
| موت بر ایشان ناگهان آید وزنده بگور فرو روند. زیرا شرارت در مسکن های ایشان و در میان ایشان است. (Sheol ) |
Let death seize them by surprise; let them go down to Sheol alive, for evil is with them in their homes. (Sheol )
| زیرا که رحمت تو به من عظیم است و جان مرا از هاویه اسفل رهانیده‌ای. (Sheol ) |
For great is Your loving devotion to me; You have delivered me from the depths of Sheol. (Sheol )
| زیرا که جان من از بلایا پر شده است وزندگانی‌ام به قبر نزدیک گردیده. (Sheol ) |
For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near to Sheol. (Sheol )
| کدام آدمی زنده است که موت رانخواهد دید؟ و جان خویش را از دست قبرخلاص خواهد ساخت؟ سلاه. (Sheol ) |
What man can live and never see death? Can he deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? (Sheol )
| ریسمان های موت مرا احاطه کرد و تنگیهای هاویه مرا دریافت، تنگی و غم پیدا کردم. (Sheol ) |
The ropes of death entangled me; the anguish of Sheol overcame me; I was confronted by trouble and sorrow. (Sheol )
| اگر به آسمان صعود کنم، تو آنجاهستی! و اگر در هاویه بستر بگسترانم اینک توآنجا هستی! (Sheol ) |
If I ascend to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, You are there. (Sheol )
| مثل کسی‌که زمین را فلاحت و شیار بکند، استخوانهای مابر سر قبرها پراکنده می‌شود. (Sheol ) |
As when one plows and breaks up the soil, so our bones have been scattered at the mouth of Sheol. (Sheol )
| مثل هاویه ایشان را زنده خواهیم بلعید، و تندرست مانندآنانی که به گور فرو می‌روند. (Sheol ) |
let us swallow them alive like Sheol, and whole like those descending into the Pit. (Sheol )
| پایهایش به موت فرو می‌رود، وقدمهایش به هاویه متمسک می‌باشد. (Sheol ) |
Her feet go down to death; her steps lead straight to Sheol. (Sheol )
| خانه او طریق هاویه است و به حجره های موت مودی می‌باشد. (Sheol ) |
Her house is the road to Sheol, descending to the chambers of death. (Sheol )
| و اونمی داند که مردگان در آنجا هستند، ودعوت‌شدگانش در عمقهای هاویه می‌باشند. (Sheol ) |
But they do not know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol. (Sheol )
| هاویه و ابدون در حضور خداوند است، پس چند مرتبه زیاده دلهای بنی آدم. (Sheol ) |
Sheol and Abaddon lie open before the LORD— how much more the hearts of men! (Sheol )
| طریق حیات برای عاقلان به سوی بالااست، تا از هاویه اسفل دور شود. (Sheol ) |
The path of life leads upward for the wise, that he may avoid going down to Sheol. (Sheol )
| پس او را با چوب بزن، و جان او را از هاویه نجات خواهی داد. (Sheol ) |
Strike him with a rod, and you will deliver his soul from Sheol. (Sheol )
| هاویه و ابدون سیر نمی شوند، همچنان چشمان انسان سیر نخواهند شد. (Sheol ) |
Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. (Sheol )
| هاویه و رحم نازاد، و زمینی که از آب سیرنمی شود، و آتش که نمی گوید که کافی است. (Sheol ) |
Sheol, the barren womb, land never satisfied with water, and fire that never says, ‘Enough!’ (Sheol )
| هرچه دستت به جهت عمل نمودن بیابد، همان را با توانایی خود به عمل آور چونکه در عالم اموات که به آن می‌روی نه کار و نه تدبیر و نه علم و نه حکمت است. (Sheol ) |
Whatever you find to do with your hands, do it with all your might, for in Sheol, where you are going, there is no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom. (Sheol )
| مرا مثل خاتم بر دلت و مثل نگین بر بازویت بگذار، زیرا که محبت مثل موت زورآور است و غیرت مثل هاویه ستم کیش می‌باشد. شعله هایش شعله های آتش و لهیب یهوه است. (Sheol ) |
Set me as a seal over your heart, as a seal upon your arm. For love is as strong as death, its jealousy as unrelenting as Sheol. Its sparks are fiery flames, the fiercest blaze of all. (Sheol )
| از این سبب هاویه حرص خود را زیاد کرده و دهان خویش را بی‌حد باز نموده است و جلال وجمهور و شوکت ایشان و هرکه در ایشان شادمان باشد در آن فرو می‌رود. (Sheol ) |
Therefore Sheol enlarges its throat and opens wide its enormous jaws, and down go Zion’s nobles and masses, her revelers and carousers! (Sheol )
| «آیتی به جهت خود از یهوه خدایت بطلب. آن را یا از عمق‌ها بطلب یا از اعلی علیین بالا.» (Sheol ) |
“Ask for a sign from the LORD your God, whether from the depths of Sheol or the heights of heaven.” (Sheol )
| هاویه از زیر برای تو متحرک است تا چون بیایی تو را استقبال نماید، و مردگان یعنی جمیع بزرگان زمین را برای تو بیدار می‌سازد. و جمیع پادشاهان امت‌ها را از کرسیهای ایشان برمی دارد. (Sheol ) |
Sheol beneath is eager to meet you upon your arrival. It stirs the spirits of the dead to greet you— all the rulers of the earth. It makes all the kings of the nations rise from their thrones. (Sheol )
| جلال تو و صدای بربطهای تو به هاویه فرود شده است. کرمها زیر تو گسترانیده شده و مورها تو را می‌پوشانند. (Sheol ) |
Your pomp has been brought down to Sheol, along with the music of your harps. Maggots are your bed and worms your blanket. (Sheol )
| لکن به هاویه به اسفلهای حفره فرود خواهی شد. (Sheol ) |
But you will be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit. (Sheol )
| از آنجاکه گفته‌اید با موت عهد بسته‌ایم و با هاویه همداستان شده‌ایم، پس چون تازیانه مهلک بگذرد به ما نخواهد رسید زیرا که دروغها راملجای خود نمودیم و خویشتن را زیر مکرمستور ساختیم. (Sheol ) |
For you said, “We have made a covenant with death; we have fashioned an agreement with Sheol. When the overwhelming scourge passes through it will not touch us, because we have made lies our refuge and falsehood our hiding place.” (Sheol )
| و عهد شما با موت باطل خواهدشد و میثاق شما با هاویه ثابت نخواهد ماند وچون تازیانه شدید بگذرد شما از آن پایمال خواهید شد. (Sheol ) |
Your covenant with death will be dissolved, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge passes through, you will be trampled by it. (Sheol )
| من گفتم: «اینک در فیروزی ایام خود به درهای هاویه می‌روم و ازبقیه سالهای خود محروم می‌شوم. (Sheol ) |
I said, “In the prime of my life I must go through the gates of Sheol and be deprived of the remainder of my years.” (Sheol )
| زیرا که هاویه تو راحمد نمی گوید و موت تو را تسبیح نمی خواند. وآنانی که به حفره فرو می‌روند به امانت تو امیدوارنمی باشند. (Sheol ) |
For Sheol cannot thank You; Death cannot praise You. Those who descend to the Pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness. (Sheol )
| و با روغن در حضور پادشاه رفته، عطریات خود را بسیار کردی و رسولان خود رابجای دور فرستاده، خویشتن را تا به هاویه پست گردانیدی. (Sheol ) |
You went to Molech with oil and multiplied your perfumes. You have sent your envoys a great distance; you have descended even to Sheol itself. (Sheol )
| و خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: «در روزی که او به عالم اموات فرود می‌رود، من ماتمی برپامی نمایم و لجه را برای وی پوشانیده، نهرهایش را باز خواهم داشت. و آبهای عظیم باز داشته خواهد شد و لبنان را برای وی سوگوار خواهم کرد. و جمیع درختان صحرا برایش ماتم خواهندگرفت. (Sheol ) |
This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘On the day it was brought down to Sheol, I caused mourning. I covered the deep because of it; I held back its rivers; its abundant waters were restrained. I made Lebanon mourn for it, and all the trees of the field fainted because of it. (Sheol )
| و چون او را با آنانی که به هاویه فرودمی روند به عالم اموات فرود آورم، آنگاه امت هارا از صدای انهدامش متزلزل خواهم ساخت. وجمیع درختان عدن یعنی برگزیده و نیکوترین لبنان از همگانی که سیراب می‌شوند، در اسفلهای زمین تسلی خواهند یافت. (Sheol ) |
I made the nations quake at the sound of its downfall, when I cast it down to Sheol with those who descend to the Pit. Then all the trees of Eden, the choicest and best of Lebanon, all the well-watered trees, were consoled in the earth below. (Sheol )
| و ایشان نیز بامقتولان شمشیر و انصارش که در میان امت‌ها زیرسایه او ساکن می‌بودند، همراه وی به عالم اموات فرود خواهند رفت. (Sheol ) |
They too descended with it to Sheol, to those slain by the sword. As its allies they had lived in its shade among the nations. (Sheol )
| اقویای جباران از میان عالم اموات اورا و انصار او را خطاب خواهند کرد. ایشان نامختون به شمشیر کشته شده، فرود آمده، خواهند خوابید. (Sheol ) |
Mighty chiefs will speak from the midst of Sheol about Egypt and her allies: ‘They have come down and lie with the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword.’ (Sheol )
| پس ایشان با جباران و نامختونانی که افتاده‌اند که با اسلحه جنگ خویش به هاویه فرود رفته‌اند، نخواهندخوابید. و ایشان شمشیرهای خود را زیر سرهای خود نهادند. و گناه ایشان بر استخوانهای ایشان خواهد بود. زیرا که در زمین زندگان باعث هیبت جباران بودند. (Sheol ) |
They do not lie down with the fallen warriors of old, who went down to Sheol with their weapons of war, whose swords were placed under their heads, whose shields rested on their bones, although the terror of the mighty was once in the land of the living. (Sheol )
| من ایشان را از دست هاویه فدیه خواهم داد و ایشان را از موت نجات خواهم بخشید. ای موت ضربات تو کجاست وای هاویه هلاکت تو کجا است؟ پشیمانی از چشمان من مستور شده است. (Sheol ) |
I will ransom them from the power of Sheol; I will redeem them from Death. Where, O Death, are your plagues? Where, O Sheol, is your sting? Compassion is hidden from My eyes. (Sheol )
| اگر به هاویه فرو روند، دست من ایشان را از آنجاخواهد گرفت و اگر به آسمان صعود نمایند، ایشان را از آنجا فرود خواهم آورد. (Sheol ) |
Though they dig down to Sheol, from there My hand will take them; and though they climb up to heaven, from there I will pull them down. (Sheol )
| و گفت: «در تنگی خودخداوند را خواندم و مرا مستجاب فرمود. ازشکم هاویه تضرع نمودم و آواز مرا شنیدی. (Sheol ) |
saying: “In my distress I called to the LORD, and He answered me. From the belly of Sheol I called for help, and You heard my voice. (Sheol )
| به درستی که شراب فریبنده است و مرد مغرور آرامی نمی پذیرد، که شهوت خود را مثل عالم اموات می‌افزاید وخودش مثل موت، سیر نمی شود. بلکه جمیع امت‌ها را نزد خود جمع می‌کند و تمامی قوم‌ها رابرای خویشتن فراهم می‌آورد. (Sheol ) |
and wealth indeed betrays him. He is an arrogant man never at rest. He enlarges his appetite like Sheol, and like Death, he is never satisfied. He gathers all the nations to himself and collects all the peoples as his own. (Sheol )
| لیکن من به شما می‌گویم، هرکه به برادر خود بی‌سبب خشم گیرد، مستوجب حکم باشد و هرکه برادرخود را راقا گوید، مستوجب قصاص باشد و هرکه احمق گوید، مستحق آتش جهنم بود. (Geenna ) |
But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be subject to the fire of hell. (Geenna )
| پس اگر چشم راستت تو رابلغزاند، قلعش کن و از خود دور انداز زیرا تو رابهتر آن است که عضوی از اعضایت تباه گردد، ازآنکه تمام بدنت در جهنم افکنده شود. (Geenna ) |
If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. (Geenna )
| و اگردست راستت تو را بلغزاند، قطعش کن و از خوددور انداز، زیرا تو را مفیدتر آن است که عضوی ازاعضای تو نابود شود، از آنکه کل جسدت دردوزخ افکنده شود. (Geenna ) |
And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to depart into hell. (Geenna )
| واز قاتلان جسم که قادر بر کشتن روح نی‌اند، بیم مکنید بلکه از او بترسید که قادر است بر هلاک کردن روح و جسم را نیز در جهنم. (Geenna ) |
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Geenna )
| و تو‌ای کفرناحوم که تا به فلک سرافراشته‌ای، به جهنم سرنگون خواهی شد زیرا هرگاه معجزاتی که در تو پدید آمد درسدوم ظاهر می‌شد، هرآینه تا امروز باقی می‌ماند. (Hadēs ) |
And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. (Hadēs )
| وهرکه برخلاف پسر انسان سخنی گوید، آمرزیده شود اما کسی‌که برخلاف روح‌القدس گوید، دراین عالم و در عالم آینده، هرگز آمرزیده نخواهدشد. (aiōn ) |
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the one to come. (aiōn )
| و آنکه در میان خارها ریخته شد، آن است که کلام را بشنود واندیشه این جهان و غرور دولت، کلام را خفه کند و بی‌ثمر گردد. (aiōn ) |
The seed sown among the thorns is the one who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn )
| و دشمنی که آنها را کاشت، ابلیس است و موسم حصاد، عاقبت این عالم ودروندگان، فرشتگانند. (aiōn ) |
and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. (aiōn )
| پس همچنان‌که کرکاسها را جمع کرده، در آتش می‌سوزانند، همانطور در عاقبت این عالم خواهد شد، (aiōn ) |
As the weeds are collected and burned in the fire, so will it be at the end of the age. (aiōn )
| بدینطور در آخر این عالم خواهد شد. فرشتگان بیرون آمده، طالحین را از میان صالحین جدا کرده، (aiōn ) |
So will it be at the end of the age: The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous, (aiōn )
| و من نیز تو را می‌گویم که تویی پطرس و بر این صخره کلیسای خود را بنا می‌کنم و ابواب جهنم بر آن استیلا نخواهد یافت. (Hadēs ) |
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. (Hadēs )
| پس اگر دستت یا پایت تو رابلغزاند، آن را قطع کرده، از خود دور انداز زیرا تورا بهتر است که لنگ یا شل داخل حیات شوی ازآنکه با دو دست یا دو پا در نار جاودانی افکنده شوی. (aiōnios ) |
If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than to have two hands and two feet and be thrown into the eternal fire. (aiōnios )
| و اگر چشمت تو را لغزش دهد، آن را قلع کرده، از خود دور انداز زیرا تو را بهتر است بایک چشم وارد حیات شوی، از اینکه با دو چشم در آتش جهنم افکنده شوی. (Geenna ) |
And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell. (Geenna )
| ناگاه شخصی آمده، وی را گفت: «ای استادنیکو، چه عمل نیکو کنم تا حیات جاودانی یابم؟» (aiōnios ) |
Just then a man came up to Jesus and inquired, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to obtain eternal life?” (aiōnios )
| و هرکه بخاطر اسم من، خانه هایا برادران یا خواهران یا پدر یا مادر یا زن یافرزندان یا زمینها را ترک کرد، صد چندان خواهدیافت و وارث حیات جاودانی خواهد گشت. (aiōnios ) |
And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for the sake of My name will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. (aiōnios )

Seeing a fig tree by the road, He went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. “May you never bear fruit again!” He said. And immediately the tree withered. (aiōn )
| وای برشما‌ای کاتبان و فریسیان ریاکار، زیرا که بر و بحررا می‌گردید تا مریدی پیدا کنید و چون پیدا شداو را دو مرتبه پست‌تر از خود، پسر جهنم می‌سازید! (Geenna ) |
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You traverse land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are. (Geenna )

While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?” (aiōn )

Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (aiōnios )

but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn )

If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two hands and go into hell, into the unquenchable fire. (Geenna )
| و هرگاه پایت تو رابلغزاند، قطعش کن زیرا تو را مفیدتر است که لنگ داخل حیات شوی از آنکه با دو پا به جهنم افکنده شوی، در آتشی که خاموشی نپذیرد؛ (Geenna ) |
If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. (Geenna )
| و هر گاه چشم تو تو را لغزش دهد، قلعش کن زیرا تو را بهتر است که با یک چشم داخل ملکوت خدا شوی، از آنکه با دو چشم درآتش جهنم انداخته شوی، (Geenna ) |
And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, (Geenna )

As Jesus started on His way, a man ran up and knelt before Him. “Good Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios )

and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end!” (aiōn )

And the demons kept begging Jesus not to order them to go into the Abyss. (Abyssos )

And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades! (Hadēs )

One day an expert in the law stood up to test Him. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios )

But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear the One who, after you have been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear Him! (Geenna )

I tell you, use worldly wealth to make friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, they will welcome you into eternal dwellings. (aiōnios )
| پس چشمان خود را در عالم اموات گشوده، خود رادر عذاب یافت. و ابراهیم را از دور و ایلعازر را درآغوشش دید. (Hadēs ) |
In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham from afar, with Lazarus by his side. (Hadēs )
| و یکی از روسا از وی سوال نموده، گفت: «ای استاد نیکو چه کنم تا حیات جاودانی راوارث گردم؟» (aiōnios ) |
Then a certain ruler asked Him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios )
| جز اینکه در این عالم چند برابربیابد و در عالم آینده حیات جاودانی را.» (aiōn , aiōnios ) |
will fail to receive many times more in this age—and in the age to come, eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
| عیسی در جواب ایشان گفت: «ابنای این عالم نکاح می‌کنند و نکاح کرده می‌شوند. (aiōn ) |
Jesus answered, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage. (aiōn )
| لیکن آنانی که مستحق رسیدن به آن عالم و به قیامت از مردگان شوند، نه نکاح می‌کنند و نه نکاح کرده می‌شوند. (aiōn ) |
But those who are considered worthy to share in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage. (aiōn )
| تاهر‌که به او ایمان آرد هلاک نگردد، بلکه حیات جاودانی یابد. (aiōnios ) |
that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life. (aiōnios )

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (aiōnios )

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.” (aiōnios )

But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
| و دروگر اجرت می‌گیردو ثمری بجهت حیات جاودانی جمع می‌کند تاکارنده و درو‌کننده هر دو با هم خشنود گردند. (aiōnios ) |
Already the reaper draws his wages and gathers a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may rejoice together. (aiōnios )
| آمین آمین به شمامی گویم هرکه کلام مرا بشنود و به فرستنده من ایمان آورد، حیات جاودانی دارد و در داوری نمی آید، بلکه از موت تا به حیات منتقل گشته است. (aiōnios ) |
Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life. (aiōnios )

You pore over the Scriptures because you presume that by them you possess eternal life. These are the very words that testify about Me, (aiōnios )

For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” (aiōnios )

Truly, truly, I tell you, he who believes has eternal life. (aiōnios )

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And this bread, which I will give for the life of the world, is My flesh.” (aiōn )

Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios )

“Now we know that You have a demon!” declared the Jews. “Abraham died, and so did the prophets, yet You say that anyone who keeps Your word will never taste death. (aiōn )

Never before has anyone heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. (aiōn )

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )

And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” (aiōn )

Whoever loves his life will lose it, but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. (aiōnios )

The crowd replied, “We have heard from the Law that the Christ will remain forever. So how can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?” (aiōn )

And I know that His command leads to eternal life. So I speak exactly what the Father has told Me to say.” (aiōnios )

“Never shall You wash my feet!” Peter told Him. Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me.” (aiōn )

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— (aiōn )

For You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him. (aiōnios )

Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. (aiōnios )

Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay. (Hadēs )

Heaven must take Him in until the time comes for the restoration of all things, which God announced long ago through His holy prophets. (aiōn )

Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. But since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. (aiōnios )

When the Gentiles heard this, they rejoiced and glorified the word of the Lord, and all who were appointed for eternal life believed. (aiōnios )

that have been known for ages.’ (aiōn )

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse. (aïdios )

To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. (aiōnios )

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the fruit you reap leads to holiness, and the outcome is eternal life. (aiōnios )

to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen. (aiōn )
| کجا است حکیم؟ کجا کاتب؟ کجا مباحث این دنیا؟ مگرخدا حکمت جهان را جهالت نگردانیده است؟ (aiōn ) |
Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (aiōn )
| لکن حکمتی بیان می‌کنیم نزد کاملین، اماحکمتی که از این عالم نیست و نه از روسای این عالم که زایل می‌گردند. (aiōn ) |
Among the mature, however, we speak a message of wisdom—but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. (aiōn )
| بلکه حکمت خدا را درسری بیان می‌کنیم، یعنی آن حکمت مخفی را که خدا پیش از دهرها برای جلال ما مقدر فرمود، (aiōn ) |
No, we speak of the mysterious and hidden wisdom of God, which He destined for our glory before time began. (aiōn )
| که احدی از روسای این عالم آن را ندانست زیرا اگر می‌دانستند خداوند جلال را مصلوب نمی کردند. (aiōn ) |
None of the rulers of this age understood it. For if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn )
| زنهارکسی خود را فریب ندهد! اگر کسی از شما خودرا در این جهان حکیم پندارد، جاهل بشود تاحکیم گردد. (aiōn ) |
Let no one deceive himself. If any of you thinks he is wise in this age, he should become a fool, so that he may become wise. (aiōn )
| بنابراین، اگرخوراک باعث لغزش برادر من باشد، تا به ابدگوشت نخواهم خورد تا برادر خود را لغزش ندهم. (aiōn ) |
Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause him to stumble. (aiōn )

Now these things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. (aiōn )

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (aiōn )

in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn )

and to illuminate for everyone the stewardship of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. (aiōn )

They will suffer the penalty of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the Lord and the glory of His might, (aiōnios )

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who by grace has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope, (aiōnios )

He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began. (aiōnios )

For this reason I endure all things for the sake of the elect, so that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. (aiōnios )

And the Lord will rescue me from every evil action and bring me safely into His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )

so that, having been justified by His grace, we would become heirs with the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios )

For perhaps this is why he was separated from you for a while, so that you might have him back for good— (aiōnios )

But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. (aiōn )

But about the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom. (aiōn )

And in another passage God says: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )

And having been made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him (aiōnios )
| وتعلیم تعمیدها و نهادن دستها و قیامت مردگان وداوری جاودانی را. (aiōnios ) |
instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. (aiōnios )

who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age— (aiōn )

where Jesus our forerunner has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn )

For it is testified: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )

but Jesus became a priest with an oath by the One who said to Him: “The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind: ‘You are a priest forever.’” (aiōn )
| لکن وی چون تا به ابد باقی است، کهانت بی‌زوال دارد. (aiōn ) |
But because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. (aiōn )
| از آنرو که شریعت مردمانی را که کمزوری دارند کاهن می‌سازد، لکن کلام قسم که بعد از شریعت است، پسر را که تاابدالاباد کامل شده است. (aiōn ) |
For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever. (aiōn )
| و نه به خون بزها و گوساله‌ها، بلکه به خون خود، یک مرتبه فقط به مکان اقدس داخل شد و فدیه ابدی را یافت. (aiōnios ) |
He did not enter by the blood of goats and calves, but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, thus securing eternal redemption. (aiōnios )
| پس آیا چند مرتبه زیاده، خون مسیح که به روح ازلی خویشتن را بی‌عیب به خداگذرانید، ضمیر شما را از اعمال مرده طاهرنخواهد ساخت تا خدای زنده را خدمت نمایید؟ (aiōnios ) |
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, purify our consciences from works of death, so that we may serve the living God! (aiōnios )
| و از این جهت او متوسط عهد تازه‌ای است تا چون موت برای کفاره تقصیرات عهد اول بوقوع آمد، خوانده‌شدگان وعده میراث ابدی رابیابند. (aiōnios ) |
Therefore Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, now that He has died to redeem them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. (aiōnios )
| زیرا در این صورت می‌بایست که او از بنیاد عالم بارها زحمت کشیده باشد. لکن الان یک مرتبه در اواخر عالم ظاهر شد تا به قربانی خود، گناه را محو سازد. (aiōn ) |
Otherwise, Christ would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of Himself. (aiōn )

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. (aiōn )

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (aiōn )

For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. (aiōn )

but the word of the Lord stands forever.” And this is the word that was proclaimed to you. (aiōn )

And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you, secure you, strengthen you, and establish you. (aiōnios )

The world is passing away, along with its desires; but whoever does the will of God remains forever. (aiōn )

And this is the promise that He Himself made to us: eternal life. (aiōnios )

Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that eternal life does not reside in a murderer. (aiōnios )

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. (aiōnios )
| بخاطر آن راستی که در ما ساکن است و با ما تا به ابد خواهدبود. (aiōn ) |
because of the truth that abides in us and will be with us forever: (aiōn )

And the angels who did not stay within their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling—these He has kept in eternal chains under darkness, bound for judgment on that great day. (aïdios )

In like manner, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, who indulged in sexual immorality and pursued strange flesh, are on display as an example of those who sustain the punishment of eternal fire. (aiōnios )
| و امواج جوشیده دریا که رسوایی خود را مثل کف برمی آورند و ستارگان آواره هستند که برای ایشان تاریکی ظلمت جاودانی مقرر است. (aiōn ) |
They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever. (aiōn )
| خویشتن را در محبت خدا محفوظ دارید ومنتظر رحمت خداوند ما عیسی مسیح برای حیات جاودانی بوده باشید. (aiōnios ) |
keep yourselves in the love of God as you await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you eternal life. (aiōnios )
| یعنی خدای واحد و نجات‌دهنده ما را جلال و عظمت و توانایی و قدرت باد الان و تا ابدالاباد. آمین. (aiōn ) |
to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority through Jesus Christ our Lord before all time, and now, and for all eternity. Amen. (aiōn )

And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!” (aiōn )

Then I looked and saw a pale green horse. Its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed close behind. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill by sword, by famine, by plague, and by the beasts of the earth. (Hadēs )

Then the fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to earth, and it was given the key to the pit of the Abyss. (Abyssos )
| و چاه هاویه را گشاد ودودی چون دود تنوری عظیم از چاه بالا آمد وآفتاب و هوا از دود چاه تاریک گشت. (Abyssos ) |
The star opened the pit of the Abyss, and smoke rose out of it like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the pit. (Abyssos )
| و بر خود، پادشاهی داشتند که ملک الهاویه است که در عبرانی به ابدون مسمی است و در یونانی او را اپلیون خوانند. (Abyssos ) |
They were ruled by a king, the angel of the Abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek it is Apollyon. (Abyssos )
| قسم خورد به او که تا ابدالاباد زنده است که آسمان و آنچه را که در آن است و زمین و آنچه را که در آن است و دریا و آنچه را که در آن است آفرید که «بعد از این زمانی نخواهد بود، (aiōn ) |
And he swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and everything in it, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it: “There will be no more delay! (aiōn )
| و چون شهادت خود را به اتمام رسانند، آن وحش که از هاویه برمی آید، با ایشان جنگ کرده، غلبه خواهد یافت و ایشان را خواهد کشت (Abyssos ) |
When the two witnesses have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will wage war with them, and will overpower and kill them. (Abyssos )
| و فرشته‌ای بنواخت که ناگاه صداهای بلنددر آسمان واقع شد که می‌گفتند: «سلطنت جهان از آن خداوند ما و مسیح او شد و تا ابدالابادحکمرانی خواهد کرد.» (aiōn ) |
Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.” (aiōn )
| و فرشته‌ای دیگر را دیدم که در وسط آسمان پرواز می‌کند و انجیل جاودانی را دارد تا ساکنان زمین را از هر امت و قبیله و زبان و قوم بشارت دهد، (aiōnios ) |
Then I saw another angel flying overhead, with the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation and tribe and tongue and people. (aiōnios )
| ودود عذاب ایشان تا ابدالاباد بالا می‌رود. پس آنانی که وحش و صورت او را پرستش می‌کنند وهرکه نشان اسم او را پذیرد، شبانه‌روز آرامی ندارند.» (aiōn ) |
And the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever. Day and night there is no rest for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” (aiōn )
| ویکی از آن چهار حیوان، به آن هفت فرشته، هفت پیاله زرین داد، پر از غضب خدا که تا ابدالاباد زنده است. (aiōn ) |
Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. (aiōn )
| آن وحش که دیدی، بود و نیست و از هاویه خواهدبرآمد و به هلاکت خواهد رفت؛ و ساکنان زمین، جز آنانی که نامهای ایشان از بنای عالم در دفترحیات مرقوم است، در حیرت خواهند افتاد ازدیدن آن وحش که بود و نیست و ظاهر خواهدشد. (Abyssos ) |
The beast that you saw—it was, and now is no more, but is about to come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. And those who dwell on the earth whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet will be. (Abyssos )
| و بار دیگر گفتند: «هللویاه، و دودش تاابدالاباد بالا می‌رود!» (aiōn ) |
And a second time they called out: “Hallelujah! Her smoke rises forever and ever.” (aiōn )
| و وحش گرفتار شد و نبی کاذب با وی که پیش او معجزات ظاهر می‌کرد تا به آنها آنانی را که نشان وحش رادارند و صورت او را می‌پرستند، گمراه کند. این هر دو، زنده به دریاچه آتش افروخته شده به کبریت انداخته شدند. (Limnē Pyr ) |
But the beast was captured along with the false prophet, who on its behalf had performed signs deceiving those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. Both the beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. (Limnē Pyr )
| و دیدم فرشته‌ای را که از آسمان نازل می شود و کلید هاویه را دارد و زنجیری بزرگ بر دست وی است. (Abyssos ) |
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the Abyss, holding in his hand a great chain. (Abyssos )
| و او را به هاویه انداخت و در را بر او بسته، مهر کرد تا امت‌ها رادیگر گمراه نکند تا مدت هزار سال به انجام رسد؛ و بعد از آن می‌باید اندکی خلاصی یابد. (Abyssos ) |
And he threw him into the Abyss, shut it, and sealed it over him, so that he could not deceive the nations until the thousand years were complete. After that, he must be released for a brief period of time. (Abyssos )
| و ابلیس که ایشان را گمراه می‌کند، به دریاچه آتش و کبریت انداخته شد، جایی که وحش و نبی کاذب هستند؛ و ایشان تا ابدالابادشبانه‌روز عذاب خواهند کشید. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr ) |
And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, into which the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )

The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds. (Hadēs )

Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )

But to the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.” (Limnē Pyr )
| ودیگر شب نخواهد بود و احتیاج به چراغ و نورآفتاب ندارند، زیرا خداوند خدا بر ایشان روشنایی می‌بخشد و تا ابدالاباد سلطنت خواهندکرد. (aiōn ) |
There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever. (aiōn )
| اینها چشمه های بی‌آب و مه های رانده شده به باد شدید هستند که برای ایشان ظلمت تاریکی جاودانی، مقرر است. () |
