نحمیا 7

۱ 1 و چون حصار بنا شد و درهایش را برپانمودم و دربانان و مغنیان و لاویان ترتیب داده شدند،

Now after the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and numbered the porters and singing men, and Levites:

۲ 2 آنگاه برادر خود حنانی و حننیارئیس قصر را، زیرا که او مردی امین و بیشتر ازاکثر مردمان خداترس بود، بر اورشلیم فرمان دادم.

I commanded Hanani my brother, and Hananias ruler of the house of Jerusalem, (for he seemed as a sincere man, and one that feared God above the rest, )

۳ 3 و ایشان را گفتم دروازه های اورشلیم را تاآفتاب گرم نشود باز نکنند و مادامی که حاضرباشند، درها را ببندند و قفل کنند و از ساکنان اورشلیم پاسبانان قرار دهید که هر کس به پاسبانی خود و هر کدام به مقابل خانه خویش حاضرباشند.

And I said to them: Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened till the sun be hot. And while they were yet standing by, the gates were shut, and barred: and I set watchmen of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one by their courses, and every mall over against his house.

۴ 4 و شهر وسیع و عظیم بود و قوم در اندرونش کم و هنوز خانه‌ها بنا نشده بود.

And the city was very wide and great, and the people few in the midst thereof, and the houses were not built.

۵ 5 و خدای من دردلم نهاد که بزرگان و سروران و قوم را جمع نمایم تا برحسب نسب نامه‌ها ثبت کردند و نسب نامه آنانی را که مرتبه اول برآمده بودند یافتم و در آن بدین مضمون نوشته دیدم:

But God had put in my heart, and I assembled the princes and magistrates, and common people, to number them: and I found a book of the number of them who came up at first, and therein it was found written:

۶ 6 اینانند اهل ولایتها که از اسیری آن اشخاصی که نبوکدنصر پادشاه بابل به اسیری برده بود، برآمده بودند و هر کدام از ایشان به اورشلیم و یهودا به شهر خود برگشته بودند.

These are the children of the province, who came up from the captivity of them that had been carried away, whom Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon had carried away, and who returned into Judea, every one into his own city.

۷ 7 اما آنانی که همراه زربابل آمده بودند: یسوع و نحمیا و عزریا و رعمیا و نحمانی و مردخای و بلشان و مسفارت و بغوای و نحوم و بعنه. و شماره مردان قوم اسرائیل:

Who came with Zorobabel, Josue, Nehemias, Azarias, Raamias, Nahamani, Mardochai, Belsam, Mespharath, Begoia, Nahum, Baana. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

۸ 8 بنی فرعوش، دوهزار و یک صد وهفتاد و دو.

The children of Pharos, two thousand one hundred seventy-two.

۹ 9 بنی شفطیا، سیصد و هفتاد و دو.

The children of Sephatia, three hundred seventy-two.

۱۰ 10 بنی آرح، ششصد و پنجاه و دو.

The children of Area, six hundred fifty-two.

۱۱ 11 بنی فحت موآب از بنی یشوع و یوآب، دو هزار و هشتصد وهجده.

The children of Phahath Moab of the children of Josue and Joab, two thousand eight hundred eighteen.

۱۲ 12 بنی عیلام، هزار و دویست و پنجاه وچهار.

The children of Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four.

۱۳ 13 بنی زتو، هشتصد و چهل و پنج.

The children of Zethua, eight hundred forty-five.

۱۴ 14 بنی زکای، هفتصد و شصت.

The children of Zachai, seven hundred sixty.

۱۵ 15 بنی بنوی، ششصد و چهل و هشت.

The children of Bannui, six hundred forty-eight.

۱۶ 16 بنی بابای، ششصد وبیست و هشت.

The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty-eight.

۱۷ 17 بنی عزجد، دو هزار و سیصد وبیست و دو.

The children of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty-two.

۱۸ 18 بنی ادونیقام، ششصد و شصت وهفت.

The children of Adonicam, six hundred sixty-seven.

۱۹ 19 بنی بغوای، دو هزار و شصت و هفت.

The children of Beguai, two thousand sixty-seven.

۲۰ 20 بنی عادین، ششصد و پنجاه و پنج.

The children of Adin, six hundred fifty-five.

۲۱ 21 بنی آطیراز (خاندان ) حزقیا، نود و هشت.

The children of Ater, children of Hezechias, ninety-eight.

۲۲ 22 بنی حاشوم، سیصد و بیست و هشت.

The children of Hasem, three hundred twenty-eight.

۲۳ 23 بنی بیصای، سیصد وبیست و چهار.

The children of Besai, three hundred twenty-four.

۲۴ 24 بنی حاریف، صد و دوازده.

The children of Hareph, a hundred and twelve.

۲۵ 25 بنی جبعون، نود و پنج.

The children of Gabaon, ninety-five.

۲۶ 26 مردمان بیت لحم ونطوفه، صد و هشتاد و هشت.

The children of Bethlehem, and Netupha, a hundred eighty-eight.

۲۷ 27 مردمان عناتوت، صد و بیست و هشت.

The men of Anathoth, a hundred twenty-eight.

۲۸ 28 مردمان بیت عزموت، چهل و دو.

The men of Bethazmoth, forty-two.

۲۹ 29 مردمان قریه یعاریم و کفیره و بئیروت، هفتصد و چهل و سه.

The men of Cariathiarim, Cephira, and Beroth, seven hundred forty-three.

۳۰ 30 مردمان رامه و جبع، ششصد و بیست و یک.

The men of Rama and Geba, six hundred twenty-one.

۳۱ 31 مردمان مکماس، صد و بیست و دو.

The men of Machmas, a hundred twenty-two.

۳۲ 32 مردمان بیت ایل و عای، صد و بیست و سه.

The men of Bethel and Hai, a hundred twenty-three.

۳۳ 33 مردمان نبوی دیگر، پنجاه و دو.

The men of the other Nebo, fifty-two.

۳۴ 34 بنی عیلام دیگر، هزارو دویست و پنجاه و چهار.

The men of the other Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four.

۳۵ 35 بنی حاریم، سیصدو بیست.

The children of Harem, three hundred and twenty.

۳۶ 36 بنی اریحا، سیصد و چهل و پنج.

The children of Jericho, three hundred forty-five.

۳۷ 37 بنی لود و حادید و اونو، هفتصد و بیست و یک.

The children of Led, of Hadid and One, seven hundred twenty-one.

۳۸ 38 بنی سنائه، سه هزار و نه صد و سی.

The children of Senaa, three thousand nine hundred thirty.

۳۹ 39 و اماکاهنان: بنی یدعیا از خاندان یشوع، نه صد و هفتادو سه.

The priests: the children of Idaia in the house of Josue, nine hundred and seventy-three.

۴۰ 40 بنی امیر، هزار و پنجاه و دو.

The children of Emmer, one thousand fifty-two.

۴۱ 41 بنی فشحور، هزار و دویست و چهل و هفت.

The children of Phashur, one thousand two hundred forty-seven.

۴۲ 42 بنی حاریم، هزار و هفده.

The children of Arem, one thousand and seventeen. The Levites:

۴۳ 43 و اما لاویان: بنی یشوع از (خاندان ) قدمیئیل و از بنی هودویا، هفتاد و چهار.

The children of Josue and Cedmihel, the sons

۴۴ 44 و مغنیان: بنی آساف، صد وچهل و هشت.

Of Oduia, seventy-four. The singing men:

۴۵ 45 و دربانان: بنی شلوم و بنی آطیرو بنی طلمون و بنی عقوب و بنی حطیطه وبنی سوبای، صد و سی و هشت.

The children of Asaph, a hundred forty-eight.

۴۶ 46 و اما نتینیم: بنی صیحه، بنی حسوفا، بنی طبایوت.

The porters: the children of Sellum, the children of Ater, the children of Telmon, the children of Accub, the children of Hatita, the children of Sobai: a hundred thirty-eight.

۴۷ 47 بنی فیروس، بنی سیعا، بنی فادون.

The Nathinites: the children of Soha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tebbaoth,

۴۸ 48 بنی لبانه، بنی حجابه، بنی سلمای.

The children of Ceros, the children of Siaa, the children of Phadon, the children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Selmai,

۴۹ 49 بنی حانان، بنی جدیل، بنی جاحر.

The children of Hanan, the children of Geddel, the children of Gaher,

۵۰ 50 بنی رآیا، بنی رصین، بنی نقودا.

The children of Raaia, the children of Rasin, the children of Necoda,

۵۱ 51 بنی جزام، بنی عزا، بنی فاسیح.

The children of Gezem, the children of Asa, the children of Phasea,

۵۲ 52 بنی بیسای، بنی معونیم، بنی نفیشسیم.

The children of Besai, the children of Munim, the children of Nephussim,

۵۳ 53 بنی بقبوق، بنی حقوفا، بنی حرحور.

The children of Bacbuc, the children of Hacupha, the children of Harhur,

۵۴ 54 بنی بصلیت، بنی محیده، بنی حرشا.

The children of Besloth, the children of Mahida, the children of Harsa,

۵۵ 55 بنی برقوس، بنی سیسرا، بنی تامح.

The children of Bercos, the children of Sisara, the children of Thema,

۵۶ 56 بنی نصیح، بنی حطیفا.

The children of Nasia, the children of Hatipha,

۵۷ 57 و پسران خادمان سلیمان: بنی سوطای، بنی سوفرت، بنی فریدا.

The children of the servants of Solomon, the children of Sothai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Pharida,

۵۸ 58 بنی یعلا، بنی درقون، بنی جدیل.

The children of Jahala, the children of Darcon, the children of Jeddel,

۵۹ 59 بنی شفطیا، بنی حطیل، بنی فوخره حظبائیم، بنی آمون.

The children of Saphatia, the children of Hatil, the children of Phochereth, who was born of Sabaim, the son of Amon.

۶۰ 60 جمیع نتینیم و پسران خادمان سلیمان، سیصدو نود و دو.

All the Nathinites, and the children of the servants of Solomon, three hundred ninety-two.

۶۱ 61 و اینانند آنانی که از تل ملح و تل حرشاکروب و ادون و امیر برآمده بودند، اماخاندان پدران و عشیره خود را نشان نتوانستندداد که آیا از اسرائیلیان بودند یا نه.

And these are they that came up from Telmela, Thelharsa, Cherub, Addon, and Emmer: and could not shew the house of their fathers, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.

۶۲ 62 بنی دلایا، بنی طوبیا، بنی نقوده، ششصد و چهل و دو.

The children of Dalaia, the children of Tobia, the children of Necoda, six hundred forty-two.

۶۳ 63 و ازکاهنان: بنی حبایا، بنی هقوص، بنی برزلای که یکی از دختران برزلایی جلعادی را به زنی گرفته بود، پس به نام ایشان مسمی شدند.

And of the priests, the children of Habia, the children of Accos, the children of Berzellai, who took a wife of the daughters of Berzellai the Galaadite, and he was called by their name.

۶۴ 64 اینان انساب خود را در میان آنانی که در نسب نامه هاثبت شده بودند طلبیدند، اما نیافتند، پس ازکهانت اخراج شدند.

These sought their writing in the record, and found it not: and they were cast out of the priesthood.

۶۵ 65 پس ترشاتا به ایشان امر فرمود که تا کاهنی با اوریم و تمیم برقرار نشود، از قدس اقداس نخورند.

And Athersatha said to them, that they should not eat of the holies of holies, until there stood up a priest learned and skillful.

۶۶ 66 تمامی جماعت با هم چهل و دو هزارو سیصد و شصت نفر بودند.

All the multitude as it were one man, forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,

۶۷ 67 سوای غلامان وکنیزان ایشان که هفت هزار و سیصد و سی و هفت نفر بودند و مغنیان و مغنیات ایشان دویست وچهل و پنج نفر بودند.

Beside their menservants and womenservants, who were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven: and among them singing men, and singing women, two hundred forty-five.

۶۸ 68 و اسبان ایشان، هفتصدو سی و شش و قاطران ایشان، دویست و چهل وپنج.

Their horses, seven hundred thirty-six: their mules two hundred forty-five:

۶۹ 69 و شتران، چهار صد و سی و پنج وحماران، ششهزار و هفتصد و بیست بود.

Their camels, four hundred thirty-five, their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

۷۰ 70 و بعضی از روسای آبا هدایا به جهت کاردادند. اما ترشاتا هزار درم طلا و پنجاه قاب وپانصد و سی دست لباس کهانت به خزانه داد.

And some of the heads of the families gave unto the work. Athersatha gave into the treasure a thousand drama of gold, fifty bowls, and five hundred and thirty garments for priests.

۷۱ 71 وبعضی از روسای آبا، بیست هزار درم طلا و دوهزار و دویست منای نقره به خزینه به جهت کاردادند.

And some of the heads of families gave to the treasure of the work, twenty thousand drama of gold, and two thousand two hundred pounds of silver.

۷۲ 72 و آنچه سایر قوم دادند این بود: بیست هزار درم طلا و دو هزار منای نقره و شصت وهفت دست لباس کهانت.

And that which the rest of the people gave, was twenty thousand drama of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty-seven garments for priests.

۷۳ 73 پس کاهنان و لاویان و دربانان و مغنیان و بعضی از قوم و نتینیم و جمیع اسرائیل، در شهرهای خود ساکن شدند و چون ماه هفتم رسید، بنی‌اسرائیل در شهرهای خودمقیم بودند.

And the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singing men, and the rest of the common people, and the Nathinites, and all Israel dwelt in their cities.
