میکا 6

۱ 1 آنچه خداوند می‌گوید بشنوید! برخیز ونزد کوهها مخاصمه نما و تلها آواز تو را بشنوند.

Hear ye now what the LORD saith: Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.

۲ 2 ‌ای کوهها مخاصمه خداوند را بشنویدو‌ای اساسهای جاودانی زمین! زیرا خداوند را باقوم خود مخاصمه‌ای است و با اسرائیل محاکمه خواهد کرد.

Hear, O ye mountains, the LORD'S controversy, and ye enduring rocks, the foundations of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with His people, and He will plead with Israel.

۳ 3 ‌ای قوم من به تو چه کرده‌ام و به چه چیز تو را خسته ساخته‌ام؟ به ضد من شهادت بده.

O My people, what have I done unto thee? And wherein have I wearied thee? Testify against Me.

۴ 4 زیرا که تو را از زمین مصر برآوردم و تو را ازخانه بندگی فدیه دادم و موسی و هارون و مریم راپیش روی تو ارسال نمودم.

For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of bondage, and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

۵ 5 ‌ای قوم من آنچه راکه بالاق پادشاه موآب مشورت داد و آنچه بلعام بن بعور او را جواب فرستاد بیاد آور و آنچه را که از شطیم تا جلجال (واقع شد به‌خاطر دار) تاعدالت خداوند را بدانی.

O My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab devised, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him; from Shittim unto Gilgal, that ye may know the righteous acts of the LORD.

۶ 6 با چه چیز به حضورخداوند بیایم و نزد خدای تعالی رکوع نمایم؟ آیابا قربانی های سوختنی و با گوساله های یک ساله به حضور وی بیایم؟

'Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before Him with burnt-offerings, with calves of a year old?

۷ 7 آیا خداوند از هزارها قوچ و از ده هزارها نهر روغن راضی خواهد شد؟ آیانخست زاده خود را به عوض معصیتم و ثمره بدن خویش را به عوض گناه جانم بدهم؟

Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?'

۸ 8 ‌ای مرد ازآنچه نیکو است تو را اخبار نموده است؛ وخداوند از تو چه چیز را می‌طلبد غیر از اینکه انصاف را بجا آوری و رحمت را دوست بداری ودر حضور خدای خویش با فروتنی سلوک نمایی؟

It hath been told thee, O man, what is good, and what the LORD doth require of thee: only to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.

۹ 9 آواز خداوند به شهر ندا می‌دهد و حکمت اسم او را مشاهده می‌نماید. عصا و تعیین کننده آن را بشنوید.

Hark! the LORD crieth unto the city — and it is wisdom to have regard for Thy name — hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.

۱۰ 10 آیا تا به حال گنجهای شرارت وایفای ناقص ملعون در خانه شریران می‌باشد؟

Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?

۱۱ 11 آیا من با میزانهای شرارت و با کیسه سنگهای ناراست بری خواهم شد؟

'Shall I be pure with wicked balances, and with a bag of deceitful weights?'

۱۲ 12 زیرا که دولتمندان او از ظلم مملواند و ساکنانش دروغ می‌گویند وزبان ایشان در دهانشان فریب محض است.

For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.

۱۳ 13 پس من نیز تو را به‌سبب گناهانت به جراحات مهلک مجروح ساخته، خراب خواهم نمود.

Therefore I also do smite thee with a grievous wound; I do make thee desolate because of thy sins.

۱۴ 14 تو خواهی خورد اما سیر نخواهی شد وگرسنگی تو در اندرونت خواهد ماند و بیرون خواهی برد اما رستگار نخواهی ساخت و آنچه راکه رستگار نمایی من به شمشیر تسلیم خواهم نمود.

Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy sickness shall be in thine inward parts; and thou shalt conceive, but shalt not bring forth; and whomsoever thou bringest forth will I give up to the sword.

۱۵ 15 تو خواهی کاشت اما نخواهی دروید؛ توزیتون را به پا خواهی فشرد اما خویشتن را به روغن تدهین نخواهی نمود؛ و عصیر انگور را اماشراب نخواهی نوشید.

Thou shalt sow, but shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but shalt not anoint thee with oil; and the vintage, but shalt not drink wine.

۱۶ 16 زیرا که قوانین عمری وجمیع اعمال خاندان اخاب نگاه داشته می‌شود وبه مشورت های ایشان سلوک می‌نمایید تا تو را به ویرانی و ساکنانش را به سخریه تسلیم نمایم، پس عار قوم مرا متحمل خواهید شد.

For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I may make thee an astonishment, and the inhabitants thereof a hissing; and ye shall bear the reproach of My people.
