مرقس 10

۱ 1 و از آنجا برخاسته، از آن طرف اردن به نواحی یهودیه آمد. و گروهی باز نزدوی جمع شدند و او برحسب عادت خود، بازبدیشان تعلیم می‌داد.

Jesus then rose from there and went to the region of Judea, traveling through the region beyond the Jordan, and crowds gathered around him again. And again he taught them, as he was accustomed to do.

۲ 2 آنگاه فریسیان پیش آمده، از روی امتحان ازاو سوال نمودند که «آیا مرد را طلاق دادن زن خویش جایز است.»

Then some Pharisees came up to Jesus and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”

۳ 3 در جواب ایشان گفت: «موسی شما را چه فرموده است؟»

He answered them, “What did Moses command you?”

۴ 4 گفتند: «موسی اجازت داد که طلاق نامه بنویسند و رهاکنند.»

They said, “Moses allowed a man to write a certificate of divorce and send her away.”

۵ 5 عیسی در جواب ایشان گفت: «به‌سبب سنگدلی شما این حکم را برای شما نوشت.

But Jesus answered them, “Because of your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment.

۶ 6 لیکن از ابتدای خلقت، خدا ایشان را مرد و زن آفرید.

But from the beginning of creation, God ‘made them male and female.’

۷ 7 از آن جهت باید مرد پدر و مادر خود را ترک کرده، با زن خویش بپیوندد،

‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,

۸ 8 و این دو یک تن خواهند بود چنانکه از آن پس دو نیستند بلکه یک جسد.

and the two will become one flesh.’ So then, they are no longer two, but one flesh.

۹ 9 پس آنچه خدا پیوست، انسان آن راجدا نکند.»

Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

۱۰ 10 و در خانه باز شاگردانش از این مقدمه ازوی سوال نمودند.

When they were back in the house, Jesus' disciples asked him about the same subject.

۱۱ 11 بدیشان گفت: «هر‌که زن خود را طلاق دهد و دیگری را نکاح کند، بر‌حق وی زنا کرده باشد.

So he said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.

۱۲ 12 و اگر زن از شوهر خود جداشود و منکوحه دیگری گردد، مرتکب زنا شود.»

And if a woman divorces her husband and gets married to another, she commits adultery.”

۱۳ 13 و بچه های کوچک را نزد او آوردند تاایشان را لمس نماید؛ اما شاگردان آورندگان رامنع کردند.

Now people were bringing children to Jesus so that he might touch them, but the disciples rebuked those who were bringing them.

۱۴ 14 چون عیسی این را بدید، خشم نموده، بدیشان گفت: «بگذارید که بچه های کوچک نزد من آیند و ایشان را مانع نشوید، زیراملکوت خدا از امثال اینها است.

When Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the little children come to me; do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

۱۵ 15 هرآینه به شما می‌گویم هر‌که ملکوت خدا را مثل بچه کوچک قبول نکند، داخل آن نشود.»

Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will certainly not enter it.”

۱۶ 16 پس ایشان را در آغوش کشید و دست بر ایشان نهاده، برکت داد.

And taking the children in his arms, he laid his hands on them and blessed them.

۱۷ 17 چون به راه می‌رفت، شخصی دوان دوان آمده، پیش او زانو زده، سوال نمود که «ای استادنیکو چه کنم تا وارث حیات جاودانی شوم؟ (aiōnios g166)

As he was setting out on the road, a man ran up, knelt before him, and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)

۱۸ 18 عیسی بدو گفت: «چرا مرا نیکو گفتی و حال آنکه کسی نیکو نیست جز خدا فقط؟

Jesus said to him, “Why do yoʋ call me good? No one is good except God alone.

۱۹ 19 احکام را می دانی، زنا مکن، قتل مکن، دزدی مکن، شهادت دروغ مده، دغابازی مکن، پدر و مادر خود راحرمت دار.»

Yoʋ know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not give false testimony, Do not defraud, Honor yoʋr father and mother.’”

۲۰ 20 او در جواب وی گفت: «ای استاد، این همه را از طفولیت نگاه داشتم.»

The man answered him, “Teacher, I have kept all these commandments from the time I was a young boy.”

۲۱ 21 عیسی به وی نگریسته، او را محبت نمود وگفت: «تو را یک چیز ناقص است: برو و آنچه داری بفروش و به فقرا بده که در آسمان گنجی خواهی یافت و بیا صلیب را برداشته، مرا پیروی کن.»

As Jesus looked at him, he felt love for the man and said to him, “One thing yoʋ lack: Go and sell all that yoʋ have and give to the poor, and yoʋ will have treasure in heaven. Then take up yoʋr cross and come follow me.”

۲۲ 22 لیکن او از این سخن ترش رو و محزون گشته، روانه گردید زیرا اموال بسیار داشت.

But the man was dejected by what Jesus said and went away sorrowful, for he had many possessions.

۲۳ 23 آنگاه عیسی گرداگرد خود نگریسته، به شاگردان خود گفت: «چه دشوار است که توانگران داخل ملکوت خدا شوند.»

Then Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it will be for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!”

۲۴ 24 چون شاگردانش از سخنان او در حیرت افتادند، عیسی باز توجه نموده، بدیشان گفت: «ای فرزندان، چه دشوار است دخول آنانی که به مال و اموال توکل دارند در ملکوت خدا!

The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how difficult it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!

۲۵ 25 سهل تر است که شتر به سوراخ سوزن درآید از اینکه شخص دولتمند به ملکوت خدا داخل شود!»

It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”

۲۶ 26 ایشان بغایت متحیرگشته، با یکدیگر می‌گفتند: «پس که می‌تواندنجات یابد؟»

They were completely astonished at this and said to one another, “Who then can be saved?”

۲۷ 27 عیسی به ایشان نظر کرده، گفت: «نزد انسان محال است لیکن نزد خدا نیست زیراکه همه‌چیز نزد خدا ممکن است.»

Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”

۲۸ 28 پطرس بدوگفتن گرفت که «اینک ما همه‌چیز را ترک کرده، تورا پیروی کرده‌ایم.»

Peter began to say to him, “Behold, we have left everything and followed yoʋ.”

۲۹ 29 عیسی جواب فرمود: «هرآینه به شما می‌گویم کسی نیست که خانه یابرادران یا خواهران یا پدر یا مادر یا زن یا اولاد یااملاک را بجهت من و انجیل ترک کند،

Jesus answered, “Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house, brothers, sisters, father, mother, wife, children, or fields, for my sake and for the sake of the gospel,

۳۰ 30 جزاینکه الحال در این زمان صد چندان یابد ازخانه‌ها و برادران و خواهران و مادران و فرزندان و املاک با زحمات، و در عالم آینده حیات جاودانی را. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)

who will not receive now in this age a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)

۳۱ 31 اما بسا اولین که آخرین می‌گردندو آخرین اولین.»

But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.”

۳۲ 32 و چون در راه به سوی اورشلیم می‌رفتند وعیسی در جلو ایشان می‌خرامید، در حیرت افتادند و چون از عقب او می‌رفتند، ترس بر ایشان مستولی شد. آنگاه آن دوازده را باز به کنارکشیده، شروع کرد به اطلاع دادن به ایشان از آنچه بر وی وارد می‌شد،

Now they were on the road going up to Jerusalem. Jesus was walking ahead of them, and they were amazed. But as they followed they became afraid. Again he took the twelve aside and began to tell them what was going to happen to him:

۳۳ 33 که «اینک به اورشلیم می‌رویم و پسر انسان به‌دست روسای کهنه وکاتبان تسلیم شود و بر وی فتوای قتل دهند و اورا به امتها سپارند،

“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to the chief priests and scribes. They will condemn him to death and hand him over to the Gentiles.

۳۴ 34 و بر وی سخریه نموده، تازیانه‌اش زنند و آب دهان بر وی افکنده، او راخواهند کشت و روز سوم خواهد برخاست.»

They will mock him, flog him, spit on him, and kill him. But on the third day he will rise again.”

۳۵ 35 آنگاه یعقوب و یوحنا دو پسر زبدی نزدوی آمده، گفتند: «ای استاد، می‌خواهیم آنچه ازتو سوال کنیم برای ما بکنی.»

Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him and said, “Teacher, we want yoʋ to do for us whatever we ask.”

۳۶ 36 ایشان را گفت: «چه می‌خواهید برای شما بکنم؟»

So he said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?”

۳۷ 37 گفتند: «به ما عطا فرما که یکی به طرف راست و دیگری برچپ تو در جلال تو بنشینیم.»

They said to him, “Grant that one of us may sit on yoʋr right and the other on yoʋr left in yoʋr glory.”

۳۸ 38 عیسی ایشان راگفت: «نمی فهمید آنچه می‌خواهید. آیا می‌توانیدآن پیاله‌ای را که من می‌نوشم، بنوشید و تعمیدی را که من می‌پذیرم، بپذیرید؟»

But Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?”

۳۹ 39 وی را گفتند: «می‌توانیم.» عیسی بدیشان گفت: «پیاله‌ای را که من می‌نوشم خواهید آشامید و تعمیدی را که من می‌پذیرم خواهید پذیرفت.

They said to him, “We are able.” Then Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink the cup that I drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with,

۴۰ 40 لیکن نشستن به‌دست راست و چپ من از آن من نیست که بدهم جز آنانی را که از بهر ایشان مهیا شده است.»

but to sit on my right and on my left is not mine to give, but is for those for whom it has been prepared.”

۴۱ 41 وآن ده نفر چون شنیدند بر یعقوب و یوحنا خشم گرفتند.

When the ten heard this, they started becoming indignant with James and John.

۴۲ 42 عیسی ایشان را خوانده، به ایشان گفت: «می‌دانید آنانی که حکام امتها شمرده می‌شوند برایشان ریاست می‌کنند و بزرگانشان بر ایشان مسلطند.

So Jesus called them over and said to them, “You know that those who are recognized as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them.

۴۳ 43 لیکن در میان شما چنین نخواهد بود، بلکه هر‌که خواهد در میان شما بزرگ شود، خادم شما باشد.

But it shall not be so among you. Instead, whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant,

۴۴ 44 و هر‌که خواهد مقدم بر شما شود، غلام همه باشد.

and whoever wants to be first among you must be a slave to all.

۴۵ 45 زیرا که پسر انسان نیز نیامده تامخدوم شود بلکه تا خدمت کند و تا جان خود رافدای بسیاری کند.»

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

۴۶ 46 و وارد اریحا شدند. و وقتی که او باشاگردان خود و جمعی کثیر از اریحا بیرون می‌رفت، بارتیمائوس کور، پسر تیماوس بر کناره راه نشسته، گدایی می‌کرد.

Then they came to Jericho. Now as Jesus was leaving Jericho, along with his disciples and a large crowd, the blind man Bartimaeus, son of Timaeus, was sitting by the road begging.

۴۷ 47 چون شنید که عیسی ناصری است، فریاد کردن گرفت و گفت: «ای عیسی ابن داود بر من ترحم کن.»

When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, “Son of David, Jesus, have mercy on me!”

۴۸ 48 و چندان‌که بسیاری او را نهیب می‌دادند که خاموش شود، زیادتر فریاد برمی آورد که پسر داودا بر من ترحم فرما.

Many people began rebuking him, telling him to be silent, but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

۴۹ 49 پس عیسی ایستاده، فرمود تا او را بخوانند. آنگاه آن کور را خوانده، بدو گفتند: «خاطر جمع دار برخیز که تو را می‌خواند.»

Then Jesus stopped and asked for him to be called over. So they called out to the blind man and said to him, “Take courage and get up; he is calling for yoʋ.”

۵۰ 50 درساعت ردای خود را دور انداخته، بر پا جست ونزد عیسی آمد.

Throwing off his cloak, he rose and came to Jesus.

۵۱ 51 عیسی به وی التفات نموده، گفت: «چه می‌خواهی از بهر تو نمایم؟» کور بدوگفت: «یا سیدی آنکه بینایی یابم.»

Then Jesus said to him, “What do yoʋ want me to do for yoʋ?” The blind man said to him, “Rabboni, I want to receive my sight.”

۵۲ 52 عیسی بدوگفت: «برو که ایمانت تو را شفا داده است.» درساعت بینا گشته، از عقب عیسی در راه روانه شد.

Jesus said to him, “Go; yoʋr faith has healed yoʋ.” Immediately he received his sight and began following Jesus on the road.
