یوشع 13

۱ 1 و یوشع پیر و سالخورده شد، و خداوندبه وی گفت: «تو پیر و سالخورده شده‌ای و هنوز زمین بسیار برای تصرف باقی می‌ماند.

Now Joshua was old, well stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, Thou art old, stricken in years, and of the land there remaineth yet very much to be taken possession of.

۲ 2 و این است زمینی که باقی می‌ماند، تمامی بلوک فلسطینیان و جمیع جشوریان.

This is the land that yet remaineth: All the circles of the Philistines, and all [the land of the] Geshurites,

۳ 3 ازشیحور که در مقابل مصر است تا سرحد عقرون به سمت شمال که از کنعانیان شمرده می‌شود، یعنی پنج سردار فلسطینیان از غزیان و اشدودیان و اشقلونیان و جتیان و عقرونیان و عویان.

From the Shichor, which runneth before Egypt, even unto the boundary of 'Ekron northward, is counted to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazzathites, and the Ashdodites, the Eshkelonites, the Gittites, and the 'Ekronites; also the 'Avvim;

۴ 4 و ازجنوب تمامی زمین کنعانیان و مغاره‌ای که ازصیدونیان است تا افیق و تا سرحد اموریان.

On the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Me'arah that belongeth to the Zidonians, up to Aphek, up to the border of the Emorites;

۵ 5 وزمین جبلیان و تمامی لبنان به سمت مطلع آفتاب از بعل جاد که زیر کوه حرمون است تا مدخل حمات.

And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the rising of the sun, from Ba'al-gad under mount Chermon up to the entrance of Chamath.

۶ 6 تمامی ساکنان کوهستان از لبنان تامصرفوت مایم که جمیع صیدونیان باشند، من ایشان را از پیش بنی‌اسرائیل بیرون خواهم کرد، لیکن تو آنها را به بنی‌اسرائیل به ملکیت به قرعه تقسیم نما چنانکه تو را امر فرموده‌ام.

All the inhabitants of the mountain from Lebanon unto Missrephoth-mayim, all the Zidonians: these will I drive out from before the children of Israel; only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

۷ 7 پس الان این زمین را به نه سبط و نصف سبط منسی برای ملکیت تقسیم نما.»

And now divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Menasseh.

۸ 8 با او روبینیان و جادیان ملک خود را گرفتندکه موسی در آن طرف اردن به سمت مشرق به ایشان داد، چنانکه موسی بنده خداوند به ایشان بخشیده بود.

With him the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave unto them, beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of the Lord hath given them;

۹ 9 از عروعیر که بر کناره وادی ارنون است، و شهری که در وسط وادی است، و تمامی بیابان میدبا تا دیبون.

From 'Aro'er, that is upon the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain of Medeba up to Dibon;

۱۰ 10 و جمیع شهرهای سیهون ملک اموریان که در حشبون تا سرحد بنی عمون حکمرانی می‌کرد.

And all the cities of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned over Cheshbon, up to the border of the children of 'Ammon;

۱۱ 11 و جلعاد و سرحدجشوریان و معکیان و تمامی کوه حرمون وتمامی باشان تا سلخه.

And Gil'ad, and the territory of the Geshurites and Ma'achathites, and all mount Chermon, and all Bashan up to Salchah;

۱۲ 12 و تمامی ممالک عوج در باشان که در اشتاروت و ادرعی حکمرانی می‌کرد، و او از بقیه رفائیان بود. پس موسی ایشان را شکست داد و بیرون کرد.

All the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, who reigned in 'Ashtaroth and in Edre'i; who had been left of the remnant of the Rephaim; and Moses smote them, and cast them out.

۱۳ 13 اما بنی‌اسرائیل جشوریان و معکیان را بیرون نکردند، پس جشور و معکی تا امروز در میان اسرائیل ساکنند.

Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites; but the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites continued to dwell in the midst of the Israelites until this day.

۱۴ 14 لیکن به سبط لاوی هیچ ملکیت نداد، زیراهدایای آتشین یهوه خدای اسرائیل ملکیت وی است چنانکه به او گفته بود.

Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance: the fire-offerings of the Lord, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.

۱۵ 15 و موسی به سبط بنی روبین برحسب قبیله های ایشان داد.

And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families;

۱۶ 16 و حدود ایشان از عروعیربود که به کنار وادی ارنون است و شهری که دروسط وادی است و تمامی بیابان که پهلوی میدبااست.

And their territory was from 'Aro'er, that is on the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain by Medeba;

۱۷ 17 حشبون و تمامی شهرهایش که در بیابان است و دیبون و باموت بعل و بیت بعل معون.

Cheshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-ba'al, and Beth-ba'al-me'on,

۱۸ 18 ویهصه و قدیموت و میفاعت.

And Yahzah, and Kedemoth, and Mepha'ath,

۱۹ 19 و قریتایم و سبمه و سارت شحر که در کوه دره بود.

And Kiryathayim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-hashachar on the mount of the valley,

۲۰ 20 و بیت فغورو دامن فسجه و بیت یشیموت.

And Beth-pe'or, and the declivities of Pisgah, and Beth-hayeshimoth,

۲۱ 21 و تمامی شهرهای بیابان و تمامی ممالک سیهون، ملک اموریان، که در حشبون حکمرانی می‌کرد، وموسی او را با سرداران مدیان یعنی اوی و راقم وصور و حور و رابع، امرای سیهون، که در آن زمین ساکن بودند، شکست داد.

And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned in Cheshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Chur, and Reba', the dukes of Sichon, the dwellers of the country.

۲۲ 22 و بلعام بن بعور فالگیر را بنی‌اسرائیل در میان کشتگان به شمشیرکشتند.

And Bil'am the son of Be'or, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among their slain.

۲۳ 23 و سرحد بنی روبین اردن و کناره‌اش بود. این ملکیت بنی روبین برحسب قبیله های ایشان بود یعنی شهرها و دهات آنها.

And the boundary of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and its bordering territory. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and their villages.

۲۴ 24 و موسی به سبط جاد یعنی به بنی جادبرحسب قبیله های ایشان داد.

And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad according to their families;

۲۵ 25 و سرحد ایشان یعزیز بود و تمامی شهرهای جلعاد و نصف زمین بنی عمون تا عروعیر که در مقابل ربه است.

And their territory was Ya'zer, and all the cities of Gil'ad, and half the land of the children of 'Ammon, up to 'Aro'er that is before Rabbah;

۲۶ 26 واز حشبون تا رامت مصفه و بطونیم و از محنایم تاسرحد دبیر.

And from Cheshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Machanayim up to the border of Debir;

۲۷ 27 و در دره بیت هارام و بیت نمره وسکوت و صافون و بقیه مملکت سیهون، ملک حشبون، و اردن و کناره آن تا انتهای دریای کنرت در آن طرف اردن به سمت مشرق.

And in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sichon the king of Cheshbon, the Jordan and its bordering territory, up to the edge of the sea of Kinnereth on the other side of the Jordan eastward.

۲۸ 28 این است ملکیت بنی جاد برحسب قبیله های ایشان یعنی شهرها و دهات آنها.

This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities and their villages.

۲۹ 29 و موسی به نصف سبط منسی داد و برای نصف سبط بنی منسی برحسب قبیله های ایشان برقرار شد.

And Moses gave unto the half tribe of Menasseh; and it belonged to the half tribe of the children of Menasseh after their families;

۳۰ 30 و حدود ایشان از محنایم تمامی باشان یعنی تمامی ممالک عوج، ملک باشان وتمامی قریه های یائیر که در باشان است، شصت شهر بود.

And their territory was from Machanayim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of 'Og the king of Bashan, and all the villages of Ya'ir, which are in Bashan, sixty cities;

۳۱ 31 و نصف جلعاد و عشتاروت و ادرعی شهرهای مملکت عوج در باشان برای پسران ماکیر بن منسی یعنی برای نصف پسران ماکیربرحسب قبیله های ایشان بود.

And half Gil'ad and 'Ashtaroth, and Edre'i, the cities of the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, [belonged] unto the children of Machir the son of Menasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir after their families.

۳۲ 32 اینهاست آنچه موسی در عربات موآب درآن طرف اردن در مقابل اریحا به سمت مشرق برای ملکیت تقسیم کرد.

These are they to whom Moses did distribute an inheritance in the plans of Moab, on the other side of the Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.

۳۳ 33 لیکن به سبط لاوی، موسی هیچ نصیب نداد زیرا که یهوه، خدای اسرائیل، نصیب ایشان است چنانکه به ایشان گفته بود.

But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the Lord the God of Israel is himself their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.
