یوحنا 14

۱ 1 «دل شما مضطرب نشود! به خدا ایمان آورید به من نیز ایمان آورید.

Let not your heart be troubled: Believe on God, and, on me, believe.

۲ 2 در خانه پدر من منزل بسیار است والا به شما می‌گفتم. می‌روم تا برای شما مکانی حاضر کنم،

In the house of my Father, are, many dwellings; or else I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you.

۳ 3 و اگربروم و از برای شما مکانی حاضر کنم، بازمی آیم و شما را برداشته با خود خواهم برد تا جایی که من می‌باشم شما نیز باشید.

And, if I go, and prepare a place for you, again, am I coming, and will take you home unto—myself, that, where, I, am, ye also, may be.

۴ 4 و جایی که من می‌روم می‌دانید و راه را می‌دانید.»

And, whither, I, go, ye know, the way.

۵ 5 توما بدو گفت: «ای آقا نمی دانیم کجا می‌روی. پس چگونه راه را توانیم دانست؟»

Thomas saith unto him—Lord! we know not whither thou goest: How know we, the way?

۶ 6 عیسی بدو گفت: «من راه و راستی و حیات هستم. هیچ‌کس نزد پدر جز به وسیله من نمی آید.

Jesus saith unto him—I, am the way, and the truth, and the life: No one, cometh unto the Father, but through me.

۷ 7 اگر مرا می‌شناختید، پدر مرانیز می‌شناختید و بعد از این او را می‌شناسید و اورا دیده‌اید.»

If ye had been getting to know me, my Father also, had ye known: from henceforth, are ye getting to know him, and have seen him.

۸ 8 فیلپس به وی گفت: «ای آقا پدر رابه ما نشان ده که ما را کافی است.»

Philip saith unto him—Lord! show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

۹ 9 عیسی بدوگفت: «ای فیلیپس در این مدت با شما بوده‌ام، آیامرا نشناخته‌ای؟ کسی‌که مرا دید، پدر را دیده است. پس چگونه تو می‌گویی پدر را به ما نشان ده؟

Jesus saith unto him—So long a time as this, have I been, with you, —and thou hast not come to know me, Philip? He that hath seen me, hath seen the Father. How art, thou, saying, Show us the Father?

۱۰ 10 آیا باور نمی کنی که من در پدر هستم و پدردر من است؟ سخنهایی که من به شما می‌گویم ازخود نمی گویم، لکن پدری که در من ساکن است، او این اعمال را می‌کند.

Believest thou not, that, I, am in the Father, and, the Father, is, in me? The things which I am saying unto you, from myself, I speak not; but, the Father, within me abiding, doeth his works.

۱۱ 11 مرا تصدیق کنید که من در پدر هستم و پدر در من است، والا مرا به‌سبب آن اعمال تصدیق کنید.

Believe me, That, I, am in the Father, and, the Father, in me; —or else, on account of the works themselves, believe ye.

۱۲ 12 آمین آمین به شمامی گویم هر‌که به من ایمان آرد، کارهایی را که من می‌کنم او نیز خواهد کرد و بزرگتر از اینها نیزخواهد کرد، زیرا که من نزد پدر می‌روم.

Verily, verily, I say unto you—He that believeth on me, the works which, I, am doing, he also, shall do; and, greater than these, shall he do, because, I, unto the Father, am going, —

۱۳ 13 «و هر چیزی را که به اسم من سوال کنید به‌جا خواهم آورد تا پدر در پسر جلال یابد.

And because, whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, the same, will I do, that, the Father, may be glorified, in the Son:

۱۴ 14 اگرچیزی به اسم من طلب کنید من آن را به‌جا خواهم آورد.

If anything ye shall ask [me] in my name, the same, will I do.

۱۵ 15 اگر مرا دوست دارید، احکام مرا نگاه دارید.

If ye be loving me, my commandments, ye will keep;

۱۶ 16 و من از پدر سوال می‌کنم و تسلی دهنده‌ای دیگر به شما عطا خواهد کرد تا همیشه باشما بماند، (aiōn g165)

And, I, will request the Father, and, Another Advocate, will he give unto you, that he may be with you age-abidingly, (aiōn g165)

۱۷ 17 یعنی روح راستی که جهان نمی تواند او را قبول کند زیرا که او را نمی بیند و نمی شناسد و اما شما او را می‌شناسید، زیرا که باشما می‌ماند و در شما خواهد بود.

The Spirit of truth, —which, the world, cannot receive, because it beholdeth it not, nor getteth to know it. But, ye, are getting to know it; because, with you, it abideth, and, in you, it is.

۱۸ 18 «شما را یتیم نمی گذارم نزد شما می‌آیم.

I will not leave you bereft, —I am coming unto you.

۱۹ 19 بعد از اندک زمانی جهان دیگر مرا نمی بیند واما شما مرا می‌بینید و از این جهت که من زنده‌ام، شما هم خواهید زیست.

Yet a little, and, the world, no longer beholdeth me; but, ye, behold me, —Because, I, live, ye also, shall live.

۲۰ 20 و در آن روز شماخواهید دانست که من در پدر هستم و شما در من و من در شما.

In that day, shall ye get to know, That, I, am in my Father, and, ye, in me, and, I, in you.

۲۱ 21 هر‌که احکام مرا دارد و آنها راحفظ کند، آن است که مرا محبت می‌نماید؛ وآنکه مرا محبت می‌نماید، پدر من او را محبت خواهد نمود و من او را محبت خواهم نمود وخود را به او ظاهر خواهم ساخت.»

He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he, it is that loveth me; and, he that loveth me, shall be loved by my Father, and, I, will love him, and will manifest, myself, unto him.

۲۲ 22 یهودا، نه آن اسخریوطی، به وی گفت: «ای آقا چگونه می‌خواهی خود را بما بنمایی و نه بر جهان؟»

Judas, not the Iscariot, saith unto him—Lord! what hath happened, that, unto us, thou art about to manifest thyself, and, not unto the world?

۲۳ 23 عیسی در جواب او گفت: «اگر کسی مرا محبت نماید، کلام مرا نگاه خواهد داشت و پدرم او رامحبت خواهد نمود و به سوی او آمده، نزد وی مسکن خواهیم گرفت.

Jesus answered, and said unto him—If any man be loving me, my word, he will keep, and, my Father, will love him, —and, unto him, will we come, and, an abode with him, will we make.

۲۴ 24 و آنکه مرا محبت ننماید، کلام مرا حفظ نمی کند؛ و کلامی که می‌شنوید از من نیست بلکه از پدری است که مرافرستاد.

He that loveth me not, doth not keep, my word; —and, the word which ye hear, is not mine, but, the Father’s who sent me.

۲۵ 25 این سخنان را به شما گفتم وقتی که باشما بودم.

These things, have I spoken unto you, With you abiding;

۲۶ 26 لیکن تسلی دهنده یعنی روح‌القدس که پدر او را به اسم من می‌فرستد، اوهمه‌چیز را به شما تعلیم خواهد داد و آنچه به شما گفتم به یاد شما خواهد آورد.

But, the Advocate, The Holy Spirit, which the Father will send in my name, He, will teach you all things, and will put you in mind, of all things which, I, told you.

۲۷ 27 سلامتی برای شما می‌گذارم، سلامتی خود را به شمامی دهم. نه‌چنانکه جهان می‌دهد، من به شمامی دهم. دل شما مضطرب و هراسان نباشد.

Peace, I leave with you, My own peace, give, I, unto you, —Not as, the world, giveth, give, I, unto you: —Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

۲۸ 28 شنیده‌اید که من به شما گفتم می‌روم و نزد شمامی آیم. اگر مرا محبت می‌نمودید، خوشحال می‌گشتید که گفتم نزد پدر می‌روم، زیرا که پدربزرگتر از من است.

Ye heard that, I, said unto you—I go my way, and I come unto you, —Had ye loved me, ye would have rejoiced, that I am going unto the Father, for, the Father, is, greater than I.

۲۹ 29 و الان قبل از وقوع به شما گفتم تا وقتی که واقع گردد ایمان آورید.

But, now, have I told you, before it cometh to pass, that, whensoever it shall come to pass, ye may believe.

۳۰ 30 بعد ازاین بسیار با شما نخواهم گفت، زیرا که رئیس این جهان می‌آید و در من چیزی ندارد.

No longer, many things, will I speak with you; for, the world’s ruler, is coming, and, in me, hath, nothing, —

۳۱ 31 لیکن تاجهان بداند که پدر را محبت می‌نمایم، چنانکه پدر به من حکم کرد همانطور می‌کنم. برخیزید ازاینجا برویم.

But, that the world may get to know that I love the Father, and just as the Father hath given me commandment, so, I do. Be rousing yourselves! let us be leading on from hence.
