یوئیل 2
| در صهیون کرنا بنوازید و در کوه مقدس من صدا بلند کنید! تمامی ساکنان زمین بلرزندزیرا روز خداوند می‌آید و نزدیک است. | ۱ 1 |
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
| روزتاریکی و ظلمت، روز ابرها و ظلمت غلیظ مثل فجر منبسط بر کوهها! امتی عظیم و قوی که مانندآن از ازل نبوده و بعد از این تا سالها و دهرهای بسیار نخواهد بود. | ۲ 2 |
a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, as the dawn spread upon the mountains; a great people and a strong, there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after them, even to the years of many generations.
| پیش روی ایشان آتش می‌سوزاند و در عقب ایشان شعله ملتهب می‌گردد. پیش روی ایشان، زمین مثل باغ عدن ودر عقب ایشان، بیابان بایر است و نیز از ایشان احدی رهایی نمی یابد. | ۳ 3 |
A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and none hath escaped them.
| منظر ایشان مثل منظراسبان است و مانند اسب‌سواران می‌تازند. | ۴ 4 |
The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so do they run.
| مثل صدای ارابه‌ها بر قله کوهها جست و خیزمی کنند؛ مثل صدای شعله آتش که کاه رامی سوزاند؛ مانند امت عظیمی که برای جنگ صف بسته باشند. | ۵ 5 |
Like the noise of chariots on the tops of the mountains do they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
| از حضور ایشان قوم هامی لرزند. تمامی رویها رنگ پریده می‌شود. | ۶ 6 |
At their presence the peoples are in anguish: all faces are waxed pale.
| مثل جباران می‌دوند، مثل مردان جنگی بر حصارهابرمی آیند و هر کدام به راه خود می‌آیند وطریقهای خود را تبدیل نمی کنند. | ۷ 7 |
They run like mighty men; they climb the wall like men of war; and they march every one on his ways, and they break not their ranks.
| بر یکدیگرازدحام نمی کنند، زیرا هرکس به راه خودمی خرامد. از میان حربه‌ها هجوم می‌آورند وصف های خود را نمی شکنند. | ۸ 8 |
Neither doth one thrust another; they march every one in his path: and they burst through the weapons, and break not off [their course].
| بر شهرمی جهند، به روی حصارها می‌دوند، به خانه هابرمی آیند. مثل دزدان از پنجره‌ها داخل می شوند. | ۹ 9 |
They leap upon the city; they run upon the wall; they climb up into the houses; they enter in at the windows like a thief.
| از حضور ایشان زمین متزلزل وآسمانها مرتعش می‌شود؛ آفتاب و ماه سیاه می‌شوند و ستارگان نور خویش را باز می‌دارند. | ۱۰ 10 |
The earth quaketh before them; the heavens tremble: the sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining:
| و خداوند آواز خود را پیش لشکر خویش بلند می‌کند، زیرا اردوی او بسیار عظیم است و آنکه سخن خود را بجا می‌آورد، قدیراست. زیرا روز خداوند عظیم و بی‌نهایت مهیب است و کیست که طاقت آن را داشته باشد. | ۱۱ 11 |
And the LORD uttereth his voice before his army; for his camp is very great; for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
| و لکن الان خداوند می‌گوید با تمامی دل وبا روزه و گریه و ماتم بسوی من بازگشت نمایید. | ۱۲ 12 |
Yet even now, saith the LORD, turn ye unto me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
| و دل خود را چاک کنید نه رخت خویش را وبه یهوه خدای خود بازگشت نمایید زیرا که اورئوف و رحیم است و دیرخشم و کثیراحسان و ازبلا پشیمان می‌شود. | ۱۳ 13 |
and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God, for he is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy, and repenteth him of the evil.
| که می‌داند که شایدبرگردد و پشیمان شود و در عقب خود برکتی واگذارد، یعنی هدیه آردی و هدیه ریختنی برای یهوه خدای شما. | ۱۴ 14 |
Who knoweth whether he will not turn and repent, and leave a blessing behind him, even a meal offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
| در صهیون کرنا بنوازید وروزه را تعیین کرده، محفل مقدس را ندا کنید. | ۱۵ 15 |
Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
| قوم را جمع کنید، جماعت را تقدیس نمایید، پیران و کودکان و شیرخوارگان را فراهم آورید. داماد از حجره خود و عروس از حجله خویش بیرون آیند. | ۱۶ 16 |
gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the old men, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
| کاهنانی که خدام خداوند هستنددر میان رواق و مذبح گریه کنند و بگویند: «ای خداوند بر قوم خویش شفقت فرما و میراث خویش را به عار مسپار، مبادا امت‌ها بر ایشان حکمرانی نمایند. چرا در میان قومها بگویند که خدای ایشان کجا است؟» | ۱۷ 17 |
Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?
| پس خداوند برای زمین خود به غیرت خواهد آمد و بر قوم خویش شفقت خواهد نمود. | ۱۸ 18 |
Then was the LORD jealous for his land, and had pity on his people.
| و خداوند قوم خود را اجابت نموده، خواهدگفت: «اینک من گندم و شیره و روغن را برای شمامی فرستم تا از آنها سیر شوید و شما را بار دیگردر میان امت‌ها عار نخواهم ساخت. | ۱۹ 19 |
And the LORD answered and said unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the nations:
| و لشکرشمالی را از شما دور کرده، به زمین خشک ویران خواهم راند که مقدمه آن بر دریای شرقی وساقه‌اش بر دریای غربی خواهد بود و بوی بدش بلند خواهد شد و عفونتش برخواهد آمد زیراکارهای عظیم کرده است.» | ۲۰ 20 |
but I will remove far off from you the northern [army], and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, his forepart into the eastern sea, and his hinder part into the western sea; and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
| ای زمین مترس! وجد و شادی بنما زیرایهوه کارهای عظیم کرده است. | ۲۱ 21 |
Fear not, O land, be glad and rejoice; for the LORD hath done great things.
| ای بهایم صحرا مترسید زیرا که مرتع های بیابان سبز شد ودرختان میوه خود را آورد و انجیر و مو قوت خویش را دادند. | ۲۲ 22 |
Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field; for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
| ای پسران صهیون در یهوه خدای خویش وجد و شادی نمایید، زیرا که باران اولین را به اندازه‌اش به شما داده است وباران اول و آخر را در وقت برای شما بارانیده است. | ۲۳ 23 |
Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he giveth you the former rain in just measure, and he causeth to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, in the first [month].
| پس خرمن از گندم پر خواهد شد ومعصره‌ها از شیره و روغن لبریز خواهد گردید. | ۲۴ 24 |
And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
| و سالهایی را که ملخ و لنبه و سوس و سن یعنی لشکر عظیم من که بر شما فرستاده بودم خوردندبه شما رد خواهم نمود. | ۲۵ 25 |
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
| و غذای بسیارخورده، سیر خواهید شد و اسم یهوه خدای خودرا که برای شما کارهای عجیب کرده است، تسبیح خواهید خواند و قوم من تا به ابد خجل نخواهند شد. | ۲۶ 26 |
And ye shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and shall praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
| و خواهید دانست که من در میان اسرائیل می‌باشم و من یهوه خدای شما هستم ودیگری نیست و قوم من خجل نخواهند شد تاابدالاباد. | ۲۷ 27 |
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and there is none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
| و بعد از آن روح خود را بر همه بشر خواهم ریخت و پسران و دختران شما نبوت خواهندنمود و پیران شما و جوانان شما رویاها خواهنددید. | ۲۸ 28 |
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
| و در آن ایام روح خود را بر غلامان وکنیزان نیز خواهم ریخت. | ۲۹ 29 |
and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
| و آیات را از خون وآتش و ستونهای دود در آسمان و زمین ظاهرخواهم ساخت. | ۳۰ 30 |
And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
| آفتاب به تاریکی و ماه به خون مبدل خواهند شد، پیش از ظهور یوم عظیم ومهیب خداوند. | ۳۱ 31 |
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
| و واقع خواهد شد هر‌که نام خداوند را بخواند نجات یابد زیرا در کوه صهیون و در اورشلیم چنانکه خداوند گفته است بقیتی خواهد بود و در میان باقی ماندگان آنانی که خداوند ایشان را خوانده است. | ۳۲ 32 |
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those that escape, as the LORD hath said, and among the remnant those whom the LORD doth call.
