ایّوب 25

۱ 1 پس بلدد شوحی در جواب گفت:

Then answered Bildad the Shuchite, and said,

۲ 2 «سلطنت و هیبت از آن اوست وسلامتی را در مکان های بلند خود ایجاد می‌کند.

Dominion and dread are with him: he maketh peace in high places.

۳ 3 آیا افواج او شمرده می‌شود و کیست که نور اوبر وی طلوع نمی کند؟

Can the number of his hosts be given? and over whom riseth not his light?

۴ 4 پس انسان چگونه نزد خدا عادل شمرده شود؟ و کسی‌که از زن زاییده شود، چگونه پاک باشد؟

How then can man be justified with God? or how can be one that is born of woman?

۵ 5 اینک ماه نیز روشنایی ندارد و ستارگان در نظر او پاک نیستند.

Behold, even as regardeth the moon, that is not bright; yea, the stars are not pure in his eyes.

۶ 6 پس چندمرتبه زیاده انسان که مثل خزنده زمین و بنی آدم که مثل کرم می‌باشد.»

How much less the mortal, the mere worm? and the son of earth, the mere maggot?
