ایّوب 13
| «اینک چشم من همه این چیزها رادیده، و گوش من آنها را شنیده وفهمیده است. | ۱ 1 |
Lo, my eye has seen all this. My ear has heard and understood it.
| چنانکه شما می‌دانید من هم می‌دانم. و من کمتر از شما نیستم. | ۲ 2 |
What ye know, I also know; I am not inferior to you.
| لیکن می‌خواهم با قادر مطلق سخن گویم. و آرزو دارم که با خدا محاجه نمایم. | ۳ 3 |
Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
| اما شما دروغها جعل می‌کنید، و جمیع شما طبیبان باطل هستید. | ۴ 4 |
But ye are forgers of lies. Ye are all physicians of no value.
| کاش که شما به کلی ساکت می‌شدید که این برای شما حکمت می‌بود. | ۵ 5 |
O that ye would altogether be silent! And it would be your wisdom.
| پس حجت مرابشنوید. و دعوی لبهایم را گوش گیرید. | ۶ 6 |
Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.
| آیابرای خدا به بی‌انصافی سخن خواهید راند؟ و به جهت او با فریب تکلم خواهید نمود؟ | ۷ 7 |
Will ye speak unrighteously for God, and talk deceitfully for him?
| آیا برای او طرف داری خواهید نمود؟ و به جهت خدادعوی خواهید کرد؟ | ۸ 8 |
Will ye show partiality to him? Will ye contend for God?
| آیا نیکو است که او شما راتفتیش نماید؟ یا چنانکه انسان را مسخره می‌نمایند او را مسخره می‌سازید. | ۹ 9 |
Is it good that he should search you out? Or as deceiving a man, will ye deceive him?
| البته شما را توبیخ خواهد کرد. اگر در خفا طرف داری نمایید. | ۱۰ 10 |
He will surely reprove you if ye secretly show partiality.
| آیا جلال او شما را هراسان نخواهد ساخت؟ و هیبت او بر شما مستولی نخواهد شد؟ | ۱۱ 11 |
Shall not his majesty make you afraid, and his dread fall upon you?
| ذکرهای شما، مثل های غبار است. وحصارهای شما، حصارهای گل است. | ۱۲ 12 |
Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes. Your defenses are defenses of clay.
| «از من ساکت شوید و من سخن خواهم گفت. و هرچه خواهد، بر من واقع شود. | ۱۳ 13 |
Be quiet. Let me alone that I may speak, and let come on me what will.
| چراگوشت خود را با دندانم بگیرم و جان خود را دردستم بنهم؟ | ۱۴ 14 |
Why should I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand?
| اگرچه مرا بکشد، برای او انتظارخواهم کشید. لیکن راه خود را به حضور او ثابت خواهم ساخت. | ۱۵ 15 |
Behold, he will kill me; I have no hope. Nevertheless I will maintain my ways before him.
| این نیز برای من نجات خواهدشد. زیرا ریاکار به حضور او حاضر نمی شود. | ۱۶ 16 |
This also shall be my salvation, that a profane man shall not come before him.
| بشنوید! سخنان مرا بشنوید. و دعوی من به گوشهای شما برسد. | ۱۷ 17 |
Hear diligently my speech, and let my declaration be in your ears.
| اینک الان دعوی خود رامرتب ساختم. و می‌دانم که عادل شمرده خواهم شد. | ۱۸ 18 |
Behold now, I have set my case in order. I know that I am righteous.
| کیست که بامن مخاصمه کند؟ پس خاموش شده جان را تسلیم خواهم کرد. | ۱۹ 19 |
Who is he who will contend with me? For then I would keep silent and give up the spirit.
| فقطدو چیز به من مکن. آنگاه خود را از حضور توپنهان نخواهم ساخت. | ۲۰ 20 |
Only do not do two things to me, then I will not hide myself from thy face:
| دست خود را از من دورکن. و هیبت تو مرا هراسان نسازد. | ۲۱ 21 |
Withdraw thy hand far from me, and do not let thy dread make me afraid.
| آنگاه بخوان و من جواب خواهم داد، یا اینکه من بگویم و مراجواب بده. | ۲۲ 22 |
Then call thou, and I will answer, or let me speak, and answer thou me.
| خطایا و گناهانم چقدر است؟ تقصیر و گناه مرا به من بشناسان. | ۲۳ 23 |
How many are my iniquities and sins? Make me to know my transgression and my sin.
| چرا روی خود را از من می‌پوشانی؟ و مرا دشمن خودمی شماری؟ | ۲۴ 24 |
Why do thou hide thy face, and reckon me for thine enemy?
| آیا برگی را که از باد رانده شده است می‌گریزانی؟ و کاه خشک را تعاقب می‌کنی؟ | ۲۵ 25 |
Will thou harass a driven leaf? And will thou pursue the dry stubble?
| زیرا که چیزهای تلخ را به ضد من می‌نویسی، و گناهان جوانی‌ام را نصیب من می‌سازی. | ۲۶ 26 |
For thou write bitter things against me, and make me to inherit the iniquities of my youth.
| و پایهای مرا در کنده می‌گذاری، وجمیع راههایم را نشان می‌کنی و گرد کف پاهایم خط می‌کشی؛ | ۲۷ 27 |
Thou also put my feet in the stocks, and mark all my paths. Thou set a bound to the soles of my feet.
| و حال آنکه مثل چیز گندیده فاسد، و مثل جامه بید خورده هستم. | ۲۸ 28 |
Though I am like a rotten thing that decays, like a garment that is moth-eaten.
