ارمیا 4
| بازگشت نمایی، اگر نزد من بازگشت نمایی و اگر رجاسات خود را از خود دور نمایی پراکنده نخواهی شد. | ۱ 1 |
If thou wilt return, O Israel, Declareth Yahweh, Unto me, mayst thou return, —And if thou wilt remove thine abominations from before me, Then shalt thou not become a wanderer.
| و به راستی و انصاف و عدالت به حیات یهوه قسم خواهی خورد و امت هاخویشتن را به او مبارک خواهند خواند و به وی فخر خواهند کرد.» | ۲ 2 |
If thou wilt swear, By the life of Yahweh! in faithfulness in justice and in righteousness, Then shall the nations bless themselves in him, And, in him, shall they glory.
| زیرا خداوند به مردان یهودا و اورشلیم چنین می‌گوید: «زمینهای خود را شیار کنید و درمیان خارها مکارید. | ۳ 3 |
For thus saith Yahweh Unto the men of Judah and unto Jerusalem, Till ye the untilled ground, —And do not sow among thorns.
| ای مردان یهودا و ساکنان اورشلیم خویشتن را برای خداوند مختون سازیدو غلفه دلهای خود را دور کنید مبادا حدت خشم من به‌سبب بدی اعمال شما مثل آتش صادرشده، افروخته گردد و کسی آن را خاموش نتواندکرد. | ۴ 4 |
Circumcise yourselves unto Yahweh So shall ye remove the impurity of your heart, ye men of Judah and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, —Lest mine indignation, go forth as fire, and burn and there be none to quench it, Because of the wickedness of your doings.
| در یهودا اخبار نمایید و در اورشلیم اعلان نموده، بگویید و در زمین کرنا بنوازید و به آوازبلند ندا کرده، بگویید که جمع شوید تا به شهرهای حصاردار داخل شویم. | ۵ 5 |
Declare ye in Judah And in Jerusalem, let it be heard, And say, Blow ye a horn in the land, —Cry, with frill voice And say, Gather yourselves together, And let us enter the defenced cities.
| علمی بسوی صهیون برافرازید و برای پناه فرار کرده، توقف منمایید زیرا که من بلایی و شکستی عظیم ازطرف شمال می‌آورم. | ۶ 6 |
Lift up an ensign—Zion-ward, Bring into safety, do not tarry, —For, calamity, am, I, bringing in from the North, Even, a great destruction:
| شیری از بیشه خودبرآمده و هلاک کننده امت‌ها حرکت کرده، از مکان خویش درآمده است تا زمین تو را ویران سازد و شهرهایت خراب شده، غیرمسکون گردد. | ۷ 7 |
There hath come up a lion out of his thicket, Yea, a destroyer of nations—hath set forward, hath come forth out of his place, —To make thy land a desolation, Thy cities, shall fall in ruins, so as to have no inhabitant.
| از این جهت پلاس پوشیده، ماتم گیرید و ولوله کنید زیرا که حدت خشم خداوند از ما برنگشته است. | ۸ 8 |
On this account, gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl, —Because the glow of the anger of Yahweh hath not turned from us.
| و خداوند می‌گوید که در آن روز دل پادشاه و دل سروران شکسته خواهد شد و کاهنان متحیر و انبیا مشوش خواهند گردید.» | ۹ 9 |
And it shall come to pass, in that day, Declareth Yahweh, That the courage of the king shall fail, And the courage of the princes, —And the priests shall be astonished, And, the prophets, shall be amazed.
| پس گفتم: «آه‌ای خداوند یهوه! به تحقیق این قوم و اورشلیم را بسیار فریب دادی زیرا گفتی شما را سلامتی خواهد بود و حال آنکه شمشیر به‌جان رسیده است.» | ۱۰ 10 |
Then said I, —Ah! My Lord Yahweh! Surely, thou hast suffered this people and Jerusalem to be beguiled, saying, Peace, shall ye have, —whereas the sword shall reach unto the soul.
| در آن زمان به این قوم و به اورشلیم گفته خواهد شد که باد سموم ازبلندیهای بیابان بسوی دختر قوم من خواهد وزیدنه برای افشاندن و پاک کردن خرمن. | ۱۱ 11 |
At that time, shall it be said of this people and of Jerusalem, —The sharp wind of the bare heights in the desert, cometh towards the daughter of my people, —not to winnow nor to cleanse.
| باد شدیداز اینها برای من خواهد وزید و من نیز الان برایشان داوری‌ها خواهم فرمود. | ۱۲ 12 |
A wind too strong for these, cometh in for me. Now, will, I also, pronounce sentences upon them:
| اینک او مثل ابر می‌آید و ارابه های او مثل گردباد و اسبهای اواز عقاب تیزروترند. وای بر ما زیرا که غارت شده‌ایم. | ۱۳ 13 |
Lo! like clouds, shall he come up, Even as a storm-wind, his chariots, Swifter than eagles, his horses, —Woe to us for we are laid waste!
| ای اورشلیم دل خود را از شرارت شست وشو کن تا نجات یابی! تا به کی خیالات فاسد تو در دلت بماند؟ | ۱۴ 14 |
Wash from wickedness thy heart, O Jerusalem, That thou mayest be saved, —How long, shall lodge within thee thy wicked devices?
| زیرا آوازی از دان اخبار می‌نماید و از کوهستان افرایم به مصیبتی اعلان می‌کند. | ۱۵ 15 |
For a voice, declareth from Dan, —And publisheth trouble from the hill country of Ephraim.
| امت‌ها را اطلاع دهید، هان به ضد اورشلیم اعلان کنید که محاصره کنندگان از ولایت بعیدمی آیند و به آواز خود به ضد شهرهای یهودا ندامی کنند. | ۱۶ 16 |
Put ye in mind the nations Lo! publish ye against Jerusalem, Blockaders! are coming in from a land afar off, —And have uttered against the cities of Judah their voice:
| خداوند می‌گوید که مثل دیده بانان مزرعه او را احاطه می‌کنند چونکه بر من فتنه انگیخته است. | ۱۷ 17 |
As the keepers of a field, have they come against her round about, —For against me, hath she rebelled, Declareth Yahweh.
| راه تو و اعمال تو این چیزها رابر تو وارد آورده است. این شرارت تو به حدی تلخ است که به دلت رسیده است. | ۱۸ 18 |
Thine own way And thine own doings, Have done these things unto thee, —This thy wickedness, Surely it is bitter, Surely it hath reached unto thy heart.
| احشای من احشای من، پرده های دل من ازدرد سفته شد و قلب من در اندرونم مشوش گردیده، ساکت نتوانم شد چونکه تو‌ای جان من آواز کرنا و نعره جنگ را شنیده‌ای. | ۱۹ 19 |
My bowels! My bowels! I am pained in the walls of my heart My heart beateth aloud to me I cannot be still! For the sound of a horn, hast thou heard O my soul, The loud shout of war!
| شکستگی بر شکستگی اعلان شده زیرا که تمام زمین غارت شده است و خیمه های من بغته و پرده هایم ناگهان به تاراج رفته است. | ۲۰ 20 |
Breach upon breach, they cry, For ruined, is all the land, —Suddenly, are ruined my tents, In a moment, my curtains!
| تا به کی علم را ببینم و آوازکرنا را بشنوم؟ | ۲۱ 21 |
How long shall I keep on seeing a standard, —continue to hear the sound of a horn?
| چونکه قوم من احمقند و مرانمی شناسند و ایشان، پسران ابله هستند و هیچ فهم ندارند. برای بدی کردن ماهرند لیکن به جهت نیکوکاری هیچ فهم ندارند. | ۲۲ 22 |
Surely, perverse, is my people Me, have they not known, Foolish sons, they are, Yea without understanding, they are: Wise, they are to commit wickedness, But how to do well, they know not!
| بسوی زمین نظر انداختم و اینک تهی وویران بود و بسوی آسمان و هیچ نور نداشت. | ۲۳ 23 |
I beheld, The earth; and lo! it was waste and wild, —The heavens also and their light was not:
| بسوی کوهها نظر انداختم و اینک متزلزل بود وتمام تلها از جا متحرک می‌شد. | ۲۴ 24 |
I beheld, The mountains, and lo! they were trembling, —And all the hills, had been violently moved:
| نظر کردم واینک آدمی نبود و تمامی مرغان هوا فرار کرده بودند. | ۲۵ 25 |
I beheld, And lo! there was no human being, —Yea, all the birds of the heavens! had fled:
| نظر کردم و اینک بوستانها بیابان گردیده و همه شهرها از حضور خداوند و از حدت خشم وی خراب شده بود. | ۲۶ 26 |
I beheld, And lo! the garden-land, was a desert, —And, all its cities, had been broken down, Because of Yahweh, Because of the glow of his anger!
| زیرا خداوند چنین می‌گوید: «تمامی زمین خراب خواهد شد لیکن آن را بالکل فانی نخواهم ساخت. | ۲۷ 27 |
For, thus, saith Yahweh, A desolation, shall all the land become—Nevertheless a full end, will I not make.
| از این سبب جهان ماتم خواهد گرفت و آسمان از بالا سیاه خواهد شد زیرا که این راگفتم و اراده نمودم و پشیمان نخواهم شد و از آن بازگشت نخواهم نمود.» | ۲۸ 28 |
For this cause, shall the land mourn, and the heavens above be overcast: Because I have spoken have purposed, and have not repented nor will I turn back therefrom.
| از آواز سواران وتیراندازان تمام اهل شهر فرار می‌کنند و به جنگلها داخل می‌شوند و بر صخره‌ها برمی آیندو تمامی شهرها ترک شده، احدی در آنها ساکن نمی شود. | ۲۹ 29 |
At the noise of horseman and archer, The whole city is in flight, They have entered dark thickets, Yea unto the crags, have they gone up, —Every city, is forsaken, There remaineth not in them a man!
| و تو حینی که غارت شوی چه خواهی کرد؟ اگر‌چه خویشتن را به قرمز ملبس سازی و به زیورهای طلا بیارایی و چشمان خود را از سرمه جلا دهی لیکن خود را عبث زیبایی داده‌ای چونکه یاران تو تو را خوار شمرده، قصدجان تو دارند. | ۳۰ 30 |
And when, thou, art laid waste, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothe thyself with crimson Though thou deck thyself with ornaments of gold Though thou enlarge with antimony thine eyes, In vain, shalt thou make thyself fair, —Paramours have rejected thee, Thy life, will they seek!
| زیرا که آوازی شنیدم مثل آواززنی که درد زه دارد و تنگی مثل زنی که نخست زاده خویش را بزاید یعنی آواز دخترصهیون را که آه می‌کشد و دستهای خود را درازکرده، می‌گوید: وای بر من زیرا که جان من به‌سبب قاتلان بیهوش شده است. | ۳۱ 31 |
For a voice as of a woman in pangs, have I heard Anguish as of her that is bearing her firstborn. The voice of the daughter of Zion! She gaspeth for breath, She spreadeth forth her palms, —Surely woe to me! For my soul fainteth before murderers.
