اشعیا 7

۱ 1 و در ایام آحاز بن یوتام بن عزیا پادشاه یهودا، واقع شد که رصین، پادشاه آرام وفقح بن رملیا پادشاه اسرائیل بر اورشلیم برآمدندتا با آن جنگ نمایند، اما نتوانستند آن را فتح نمایند.

And it was don in the daies of Achas, the sone of Joathan, the sone of Osias, kyng of Juda, Rasyn, the kyng of Sirie, and Facee, the sone of Romelie, the kyng of Israel, stieden to Jerusalem, for to fiyte ayens it; and thei myyten not ouercome it.

۲ 2 و به خاندان داود خبر داده، گفتند که ارام در افرایم اردو زده‌اند و دل او و دل مردمانش بلرزید به طوری که درختان جنگل از باد می‌لرزد.

And thei telden to the hous of Dauid, and seiden, Sirie hath restid on Effraym, and the herte of hym and of his puple was mouyd togidere, as the trees of wodis ben mouyd of the face of the wynd.

۳ 3 آنگاه خداوند به اشعیا گفت: «تو با پسر خودشاریاشوب به انتهای قنات برکه فوقانی به راه مزرعه گازر به استقبال آحاز بیرون شو.

And the Lord seide to Isaie, Go thou out, and Jasub, thi sone, which is left, in to the meetyng of Achas, at the laste ende of the water cundijt of the hiyere cisterne, in the weie of the feeld of the fullere.

۴ 4 و وی رابگو: باحذر و آرام باش مترس و دلت ضعیف نشود از این دو‌دم مشعل دودافشان، یعنی ازشدت خشم رصین و ارام و پسر رملیا.

And thou schalt seie to hym, Se thou, that thou be stille; nyle thou drede, and thin herte be not aferd of twei tailis of these brondis smokynge in the wraththe of woodnesse, of Rasyn, kynge of Sirie, and of the sone of Romelye.

۵ 5 زیرا که ارام با افرایم و پسر رملیا برای ضرر تو مشورت کرده، می‌گویند:

For Sirie, and Effraym, and the sone of Romelie, han bigunne yuel councel ayens thee, and seien, Stie we to Juda,

۶ 6 بر یهودا برآییم و آن رامحاصره کرده، به جهت خویشتن تسخیر نماییم و پسر طبئیل را در آن به پادشاهی نصب کنیم.»

and reise we hym, and drawe we hym out to vs; and sette we a kyng in the myddis therof, the sone of Tabeel.

۷ 7 خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید که «این بجا آورده نمی شود و واقع نخواهد گردید.

The Lord God seith these thingis, This schal not be, and it schal not stonde;

۸ 8 زیرا که سرارام، دمشق و سر دمشق، رصین است و بعد ازشصت و پنج سال افرایم شکسته می‌شود به طوری که دیگر قومی نخواهد بود.

but Damask schal be the heed of Sirie, and Rasyn `schal be the heed of Damask; and yit sixti yeer and fiue, and Effraym schal faile to be a puple;

۹ 9 و سر افرایم سامره و سر سامره پسر رملیا است و اگر باورنکنید هرآینه ثابت نخواهید ماند.»

and Samarie shal faile to be the heed of Effraym, and the sone of Romelie `schal faile to be heed of Samarie. Forsothe if ye schulen not bileue, ye schulen not dwelle.

۱۰ 10 و خداوند بار دیگر آحاز را خطاب کرده، گفت:

And the Lord addide to speke to Achas,

۱۱ 11 «آیتی به جهت خود از یهوه خدایت بطلب. آن را یا از عمق‌ها بطلب یا از اعلی علیین بالا.» (Sheol h7585)

and seide, Axe thou to thee a signe of thi Lord God, in to the depthe of helle, ethir in to heiythe aboue. (Sheol h7585)

۱۲ 12 آحاز گفت: «نمی طلبم و خداوند راامتحان نخواهم نمود.»

And Achas seide, Y schal not axe, and Y schal not tempte the Lord.

۱۳ 13 گفت: «ای خاندان داود بشنوید! آیا شما راچیزی سهل است که مردمان را بیزار کنید بلکه می‌خواهید خدای مرا نیز بیزار کنید.

And Ysaie seide, Therfor the hous of Dauid, here ye; whether it is litil to you to be diseseful to men, for ye ben diseseful also to my God?

۱۴ 14 بنابراین خود خداوند به شما آیتی خواهد داد: اینک باکره حامله شده، پسری خواهد زایید و نام او راعمانوئیل خواهد خواند.

For this thing the Lord hym silf schal yyue a signe to you. Lo! a virgyn schal conseyue, and schal bere a sone; and his name schal be clepid Emanuel.

۱۵ 15 کره و عسل خواهدخورد تا آنکه ترک کردن بدی و اختیار کردن خوبی را بداند.

He schal ete botere and hony, that he kunne repreue yuel, and cheese good.

۱۶ 16 زیرا قبل از آنکه پسر، ترک نمودن بدی و اختیار کردن خوبی را بداند، زمینی که شما از هر دو پادشاه آن می‌ترسید، متروک خواهد شد.

For whi bifore that the child kunne repreue yuel, and chese good, the lond, which thou wlatist, schal be forsakun of the face of her twei kyngis.

۱۷ 17 خداوند بر تو و بر قومت و برخاندان پدرت ایامی را خواهد آورد که از ایامی که افرایم از یهودا جدا شد تا حال نیامده باشدیعنی پادشاه آشور را.»

The Lord schal brynge on thee, and on thi puple, and on the hous of thi fadir, daies that camen not fro the daies of departyng of Effraym fro Juda, with the kyng of Assiriens.

۱۸ 18 و در آن روز واقع خواهد شد که خداوند برای مگسهایی که به کناره های نهرهای مصرند و زنبورهایی که درزمین آشورند صفیر خواهد زد.

And it schal be, in that dai the Lord schal hisse to a flie, which is in the laste parte of the floodis of Egipt; and to a bee, which is in the lond of Assur;

۱۹ 19 و تمامی آنهابرآمده، در وادیهای ویران و شکافهای صخره وبر همه بوته های خاردار و بر همه مرتع‌ها فرود خواهند آمد.

and `alle so schulen come, and schulen reste in the strondis of valeis, and in caues of stoonis, and in alle places of buyschis, and in alle hoolis.

۲۰ 20 و در آن روز خداوند به واسطه استره‌ای که از ماورای نهر اجیر می‌شود یعنی به واسطه پادشاه آشور موی سر و موی پایها راخواهد تراشید و ریش هم سترده خواهد شد.

And in that dai the Lord schal schaue with a scharp rasour in these men, that ben biyendis the flood, in the kyng of Assiriens, the heed, and heeris of the feet, and al the beerd.

۲۱ 21 و در آن روز واقع خواهد شد که شخصی یک گاو جوان و دو گوسفند زنده نگاه خواهد داشت.

And it schal be, in that day a man schal nurische a cow of oxis, and twei scheep,

۲۲ 22 و از فراوانی شیری که می‌دهند کره خواهدخورد زیرا هرکه در میان زمین باقی ماند خوراکش کره و عسل خواهد بود.

and for the plentee of mylk he schal ete botere; for whi ech man that schal be left in the myddis of the lond, schal ete boter and hony.

۲۳ 23 و در آن روز هر مکانی که هزار مو به جهت هزار پاره نقره داده می‌شد پراز خار و خس خواهد بود.

And it schal be, in that dai ech place where a thousand vyneris schulen be worth a thousynde platis of siluer, and schulen be in to thornes and breeris,

۲۴ 24 با تیرها و کمانهامردم به آنجا خواهند آمد زیرا که تمامی زمین پراز خار و خس خواهد شد.

men schulen entre thidur with bouwis and arowis; for whi breris and thornes schulen be in al the lond.

۲۵ 25 و جمیع کوههایی که با بیل کنده می‌شد، از ترس خار و خس به آنجانخواهند آمد بلکه گاوان را به آنجا خواهندفرستاد و گوسفندان آن را پایمال خواهند کرد.

And alle hillis that schulen be purgid with a sarpe, the drede of thornes and of breris schal not come thidir; and it schal be in to lesewe of oxen, and in to treding of scheep.
