اشعیا 59

۱ 1 هان دست خداوند کوتاه نیست تانرهاند و گوش او سنگین نی تا نشنود.

Behold, Adonai’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t sh'ma ·hear obey·.

۲ 2 لیکن خطایای شما در میان شما و خدای شماحایل شده است و گناهان شما روی او را از شماپوشانیده است تا نشنود.

But your depravities (moral evils) have separated you and your God, and your habitual sins ·missing the marks· have hidden his face from you, so that he will not sh'ma ·hear obey·.

۳ 3 زیرا که دستهای شمابه خون و انگشتهای شما به شرارت آلوده شده است. لبهای شما به دروغ تکلم می‌نماید وزبانهای شما به شرارت تنطق می‌کند.

For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with depravity (moral evil). Your lips have spoken lies. Your tongue mutters wickedness.

۴ 4 احدی به عدالت دعوی نمی کند و هیچکس به راستی داوری نمی نماید. به بطالت توکل دارند و به دروغ تکلم می‌نمایند. به ظلم حامله شده، شرارت رامی زایند.

No one sues in righteousness, and no one pleads in truth. They trust in vanity, and speak lies. They conceive mischief, and give birth to vain striving of iniquity.

۵ 5 از تخمهای افعی بچه برمی آورند وپرده عنکبوت می‌بافند. هرکه از تخمهای ایشان بخورد می‌میرد و آن چون شکسته گردد افعی بیرون می‌آید.

They hatch adders’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web. He who eats of their eggs dies; and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper.

۶ 6 پرده های ایشان لباس نخواهدشد و خویشتن را از اعمال خود نخواهند پوشانیدزیرا که اعمال ایشان اعمال شرارت است و عمل ظلم در دستهای ایشان است.

Their webs won’t become garments. They won’t cover themselves with their works. Their works are works of vain striving of iniquity, and acts of violence are in their hands.

۷ 7 پایهای ایشان برای بدی دوان و به جهت ریختن خون بی‌گناهان شتابان است. افکار ایشان افکار شرارت است ودر راههای ایشان ویرانی و خرابی است.

Their feet run to evil, and they hurry to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are thoughts of vain striving of iniquity. Desolation and destruction are in their paths.

۸ 8 طریق سلامتی را نمی دانند و در راههای ایشان انصاف نیست. جاده های کج برای خود ساخته‌اند و هر‌که در آنها سالک باشد سلامتی را نخواهد دانست.

They don’t know the way of peace; and there is no mishpat ·justice· in their ways. They have made crooked paths for themselves; whoever goes in them does not know peace.

۹ 9 بنابراین انصاف از ما دور شده است و عدالت به ما نمی رسد. انتظار نور می‌کشیم و اینک ظلمت است و منتظر روشنایی هستیم اما در تاریکی غلیظ سالک می‌باشیم.

Therefore is mishpat ·justice· far from us, and righteousness does not overtake us. We look for light, but see darkness; for brightness, but we walk in obscurity.

۱۰ 10 و مثل کوران برای دیوار تلمس می‌نماییم و مانند بی‌چشمان کورانه راه می‌رویم. در وقت ظهر مثل شام لغزش می‌خوریم و در میان تندرستان مانند مردگانیم.

We grope for the wall like the blind. Yes, we grope as those who have no eyes. We stumble at noon as if it were twilight. Among those who are strong, we are like dead men.

۱۱ 11 جمیع ما مثل خرسها صدا می‌کنیم و مانندفاخته‌ها ناله می‌نماییم، برای انصاف انتظارمی کشیم و نیست و برای نجات و از ما دورمی شود.

We all roar like bears, and moan bitterly like doves. We look for mishpat ·justice·, but there is none; for yishu'ah ·salvation·, but it is far off from us.

۱۲ 12 زیرا که خطایای ما به حضور تو بسیار شده و گناهان ما به ضد ما شهادت می‌دهد چونکه خطایای ما با ما است و گناهان خود را می‌دانیم.

For our rebellious breaches of relationships are multiplied before you, and our habitual sins ·missing the marks· testify against us; for our rebellious breaches of relationships are with us, and as for our depravities (moral evils), we know them:

۱۳ 13 مرتد شده، خداوند را انکار نمودیم. از پیروی خدای خود انحراف ورزیدیم به ظلم و فتنه تکلم کردیم و به سخنان کذب حامله شده، از دل آنها راتنطق نمودیم.

being rebellious, breaking away from authority thus breaking relationship and denying Adonai, and turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.

۱۴ 14 و انصاف به عقب رانده شده وعدالت از ما دور ایستاده است زیرا که راستی درکوچه‌ها افتاده است و استقامت نمی تواند داخل شود.

Mishpat ·Justice· is turned away backward, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has fallen in the street, and uprightness can’t enter.

۱۵ 15 و راستی مفقود شده است و هر‌که ازبدی اجتناب نماید خود را به یغما می‌سپارد. وچون خداوند این را دید در نظر او بد آمد که انصاف وجود نداشت.

Yes, truth is lacking; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Adonai saw it, and it displeased him that there was no mishpat ·justice·.

۱۶ 16 و او دید که کسی نبود وتعجب نمود که شفاعت کننده‌ای وجود نداشت از این جهت بازوی وی برای او نجات آورد وعدالت او وی را دستگیری نمود.

He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore his own arm brought salvation to him; and his righteousness sustained him.

۱۷ 17 پس عدالت را مثل زره پوشید و خود نجات را بر سر خویش نهاد. و جامه انتقام را به‌جای لباس در بر کرد وغیرت را مثل ردا پوشید.

He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of yishu'ah ·salvation· on his head. He put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle.

۱۸ 18 بر وفق اعمال ایشان، ایشان را جزا خواهد داد. به خصمان خود حدت خشم را و به دشمنان خویش مکافات و به جزایرپاداش را خواهد رسانید.

According to their deeds, he will repay as appropriate, wrath to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; he will repay the islands their due.

۱۹ 19 و از طرف مغرب ازنام یهوه و از طلوع آفتاب از جلال وی خواهندترسید زیرا که او مثل نهر سرشاری که باد خداوندآن را براند خواهد آمد.

So shall they fear Adonai’s name from the west, and his kavod ·weighty glory· from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which Adonai’s breath drives.

۲۰ 20 و خداوند می‌گوید که نجات‌دهنده‌ای برای صهیون و برای آنانی که دریعقوب از معصیت بازگشت نمایند خواهد آمد.

“A Redeemer will come to Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], to those in Jacob [Supplanter] who turn from rebellious breach of relationship,” says Adonai.

۲۱ 21 و خداوند می‌گوید: «اما عهد من با ایشان این است که روح من که بر تو است و کلام من که دردهان تو گذاشته‌ام از دهان تو و از دهان ذریت تو واز دهان ذریت ذریت تو دور نخواهد شد.» خداوند می‌گوید: «از الان و تا ابدالاباد.»

“As for me, this is my covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· with them,” says Adonai. “My Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your offspring, nor out of the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says Adonai, “from henceforth and forever.”
